CAIR Trumpets 31% Increase in Number of Mosques as US Muslim Population Expands

Immigration and birthrate (not conversions) are cited as the reasons for the expansion from 2010-2020.

Of course, Biden, will be be helping that expansion as he promises to bring 125,000 refugees, many of them Muslims, to America beginning on October first—less than 4 months from now.

“The continued growth of American Muslim houses of worship and community centers also corresponds to the national increase in Muslim civic engagement and political organizing.”

(CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad)

From the Council on American Islamic Relations:

CAIR Welcomes New Report on U.S. Mosques Showing 31% Increase in Mosque Establishments, Expanded Mosque Budgets

(WASHINGTON, D.C, 6/2/2021) – The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today welcomed a new report on U.S. mosques that shows a 31 percent increase in the number of Muslim houses of worship nationwide since 2010.

[….]

That is CAIR’s Nihad Awad (circled) being arrested in a demonstration that refugee contractor Church World Service helped organize against Donald Trump’s immigration policies in 2018. https://refugeeresettlementwatch.org/2018/03/07/linda-sarsour-cairs-top-gun-nihad-awad-and-imam-suleiman-among-those-arrested-on-capitol-hill-this-week/

“The increase in U.S. mosques, participants and budgets is a sign of a healthy democracy that upholds and guarantees the First Amendment to everyone, including American Muslims. We are pleased to be a co-sponsor of an important report that provides a snapshot of the current status of mosques around the nation and what needs to be done to improve the conditions and diversity of American Muslim communities,” said CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad. “The continued growth of American Muslim houses of worship and community centers also corresponds to the national increase in Muslim civic engagement and political organizing.”

[….]

The Number of Mosques Continues to Grow: In 2020, the US Mosque Survey counted 2769 mosques, which is a 31% increase from the 2010 count of 2106 mosques. Undoubtedly, the primary driving force for the increase of mosques is the steady expansion of the population of Muslims in America due to immigration and birth rate.

Not so good news for CAIR! Conversions aren’t cutting it!

There are fewer African American Mosques and fewer Americans are converting to Islam, so they gotta keep the immigrants coming.

Sharp Decrease in African American Mosques and the Number of African American Attendees: In 2020, African American mosques comprised 13% of all mosques, but in 2010 African American mosques accounted for 23% of all mosques—a 43% decrease; in 2020, African American Muslims comprised 16% of all attendees in mosques, but in 2010 that figure was 23%—a 33% decrease.

Conversions Decreased:The number of converts to Islam in mosques declined dramatically, from 15.3 converts per mosque in 2010. The average number of converts in 2020 is 11.3. The primary reason is the decline in African American converts, especially in African American mosques.

In other CAIR news….

Even as Brigitte Gabriel of ACT for America has toned-down her rhetoric (some would say has shut up completely) and Frank Gaffney isn’t so visible anymore, they both still come in for attack as leading anti-Muslim boogeymen proving that Leftists never ever drop their attacks so there is no sense in being conciliatory in the slightest.

During the Obama administration, Gabriel and Gaffney were outspoken critics of refugee resettlement policy because as CAIR’s Awad confirms, their population and political power is expanding through immigration.

Of course CAIR (below) is just parroting their pals at the now discredited Southern Poverty Law Center.

From a CAIR Press Release:

CAIR Urges Council for National Policy to Sever Ties with Notorious Anti-Muslim Extremists

(WASHINGTON, D.C., 6/2/21) – The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today urged the Council for National Policy (CNP) to sever its apparent ties with notorious anti-Muslim extremists.

Documents published by the investigative research organization Documented appear to show anti-Muslim hate group leaders Brigitte Gabriel and Frank Gaffney actively involved in the Council for National Policy.

As reported by the Southern Poverty Law Center, the CNP is “a coalition of influential right-wing leaders, political operatives, conservative media figures, members of the religious right, free-market fundamentalists and donors. The coalition operates on multiple fronts and focuses on political strategy, media and grassroots organizing. The goal of the coalition is to advocate for right-wing and anti-rights policies that favor conservatives and the religious right.”

In 2016, Hatewatch published a 191-page membership directory that included more than 400 members. The directory shows CNP membership included anti-Muslim extremists Brigette Gabriel and Frank Gaffney among many other right-wing figures. It also showed “Radical Islam” and “Islamic Fascism” to be among the interests identified by several CNP members.

“The Council for National Policy can demonstrate its repudiation of Islamophobia by severing ties with anti-Muslim extremists like Brigette Gabriel and Frank Gaffney,” said CAIR Research and Advocacy coordinator Huzaifa Shahbaz. “Refusal to sever these ties would be a clear indication that CNP has no problem with those who promote anti-Muslim conspiracy theories.

Just so you know: the Islamic doctrine of jihad by migration is known as “Hijra.”

Rutland Firster shows it is possible to defeat mayors who secretively work with federal refugee contractors

I’ve been talking a lot about mayors (and councils) lately because I believe that we can’t count on the DC swamp being drained anytime soon.  Our focus should be close to home and making sure local elected officials aren’t working secretively with big businesses and federal agencies and their contractors to change America (your town) by changing the people.

And, as I said the other day, I’m compiling a dirty dozen list of mayors*** who need to go.  But, LOL! this one in Rutland, VT is already gone thanks to Rutland First.

Recently one of the leaders of Rutland First was honored for his hard work by ACT for America at its annual conference.

Here is the news from True North Reports:

don-chioffi
Chioffi photo from True North Reports

Don Chioffi, a retired Vermont state legislator, educator and Vietnam veteran, has been named “Citizen Activist of the Year” by Washington, D.C.-based ACT! for America.

Chioffi, a resident of Rutland Town, co-led the formation of Rutland First, a coalition of local citizens opposed to less-than-transparent efforts by Rutland Mayor Christopher Louras to resettle 100 Syrian refugees in the area starting in early 2016.

Chioffi was presented the award by ACT! for America founder Brigitte Gabriel at a special ceremony in Washington earlier this month. Gabriel is a prominent Lebanese-born conservative journalist and immigration activist. Earlier this year she took part in a national security briefing with White House officials.

Under Chioffi’s leadership, Rutland First was credited for bringing the secretive refugee placement program to light, which ultimately resulted in the defeat of Louras on Town Meeting Day in March. Louras spearheaded the resettlement effort with support from the Obama administration and U.S. Sen. Patrick Leahy, D-Vermont, among others. Another local group, Rutland Welcomes, worked with Louras to help refugees find housing and job opportunities.

“It’s a tremendous honor to receive this award,” Chioffi told True North Reports. “It was a humbling and surreal experience. For somebody that’s steeped in Vermont and the trees here, it’s tremendous. But I accepted the award not for myself but for Rutland First. There are several of us who are founding members.”

Chioffi said the honor really recognizes Rutland First for shining a light on the secret government program sprung by the mayor.

There is more, continue reading here.

If they can do this in Vermont, surely you can do it where you live!

The major contractor operating in Vermont is the US Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI).

We covered the Rutland controversy extensively. To learn more go here.

***I have about 9 mayors targeted for my first Dirty Dozen Mayors and am looking for more. Send your suggestions!

By the way, here are the nine major federal contractors who have hundreds of subcontractors working for them in all states but Wyoming.  Click here for my most recent accounting of their finances.

Brigitte Gabriel: Refugee resettlement is driven by the desire for cheap immigrant labor/subsidies

Brigitte Gabriel microphone

Of course I couldn’t agree more.  It is not the only factor, but it is the primary reason that most Republican leaders never push for trashing or reforming the Refugee Act of 1980.

(After all, Congressional leaders are playing baseball with Tyson Foods lobbyists and you, the taxpayer, are not invited!)

The US Refugee Admissions Program is NOT first and foremost about ‘humanitarianism,’ it is a business!

(It is a business! Just ask the Lutheran contractor in New England, here.)

Okay, this is one of those things I’ve written about until I want to barf (right Mr. Nixon!).

I’m just going to let you read what ACT for America leader Gabriel said at the Value Voters Summit in Washington this past week.  See here at CNS News:

ACT for America President Brigitte Gabriel said certain U.S. industries seek to hire refugees instead of regular U.S. workers because a refugee’s salary is often subsidized through the federal Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC), which means “the regular American goes to the back” of the employment line while refugees are imported and hired, many of whom “do not share our values” and sometimes work “against our own country.”

“Refugee resettlement is not about humanitarianism,” said Gabriel during her speech at the Values Voter Summit in Washington, D.C. on Oct. 13. “It is about supplying cheap labor – industries looking to boost their bottom line is what drives most refugee resettlement in the United States today.”

More here.

And, it isn’t just the refugees, but many immigrant groups that supply labor which allows these large global industries to pay cheaper wages.

However, there is a big difference between refugee cheap labor and other immigrant cheap labor!

One big difference with the refugee program is that the refugees have taxpayer- funded head hunters masquerading as ‘religious charities’ (aka VOLAGS, aka contractors***) helping corporations find the workers and get them signed up for welfare which becomes the avenue for those special employer tax credits Gabriel mentions.

(Remember BIG MEAT wailing here back in February when Trump first dropped the refugee ceiling to 50,000! They weren’t wailing for the love of those poor souls living in 3rd world hell holes.)

Refugee workers and giant corporations have their own federally-funded employment services!

Right now for each refugee admitted to the US they come with a $2,125 per head federal payment to a contractor.

The contractor is required to spend $1,125 on the refugee and pockets $1,000 to run its own office. So you could look at this as another taxpayer subsidy to say Tyson Foods or Marriott Hotels!

What a business model!

Workers are found by the UN, you pay the UN

You pay to have them screened/processed in to the US

Contractors get them settled in towns where global corporations (and other companies) need labor

You pay as contractors get the family settled, and find them a job

Wages inadequate so welfare is supplied (you pay for housing subsidies/school/medical/police etc)

Employer gets federal tax incentives to employ people on welfare….

And, the next year a fresh batch of refugee workers (who can’t go home) arrive in American towns!

What a racket!

*** These are the nine major contractors (LOL! I’m going to tell you this over and over and over again).  There will be no reform of how the US admits and settles refugees as long as these nine are paid for their ‘charitable’ work.  And, on top of it, act as Leftwing community organizers and political activists.

Right Wing Watch watching ACT for America

Our old friend Miranda Blue either went to the ACT for America gathering on Capitol Hill this week or watched on line (was it on line?).  You can read her report here listing the Members of Congress who spoke to the pro-America, pro-western civilization activists gathering and a few things about what they said.

miranda-headshot-2-250x250
Miranda Blue is the research editor at People For the American Way. Her work has included investigations into the anti-abortion “personhood” and “rescue” movements, uncovering the work of American anti-LGBT activists around the world, and exposing attacks on voting rights. http://www.rightwingwatch.org/post_author/miranda-blue/

For the sake of time, I’m posting only what she said about Rep. Steve King. She is not a fan about his desire to save western civilization as I learned when she linked my comments to King’s previous one:

“We can’t restore our civilization with somebody else’s babies.”

Here is Blue on what King said to the ACT gathering:

King, true to form, used his time to extol “American civilization” and criticize multiculturalism.

He told the audience the story of a liberal San Francisco woman whom he had met on a plane who had told him that “one of the most great experiences that she had was some event out in California where they had all the people there were speaking so many different languages, they brought so much different food, they wore so many different clothes, you looked at all that, and she saw all that diversity and it was one of the most wonderful experiences of her life.”

“And it sounded to me,” he said, “like the recreation of the Tower of Babel was what she thought was utopia for America. And I’m fine with all of the languages, we have all kinds of people in the world we need to communicate with. But there’s something that goes along with the English language that is a gift to this country.”

He was met with loud applause.

Endnote: Looking at Blue’s bio, I wonder does she work exposing Muslims who are anti-LGBT activists around the world in addition to Americans, or might that be too dangerous?

Comment worth noting: Call Congress daily! (this reader does!)

Editor: This is a comment from a reader ‘Mom for Trump’ who asked me to tell you this daily. So I will!
Years ago I had some experience on ‘The Hill,’ but I will tell you the place has changed over the last two decades! They simply do not want to hear from you (the peons!).  They have made it increasingly difficult for you to get a message to them and even setting foot in the place is like going in to Ft. Knox.

brigitte-gabriel-2
Our reader says: follow Brigitte Gabriel on twitter, here: https://twitter.com/ACTBrigitte

I’m going to say this over and over again for the remainder of the year!
You must call your members, you must see them at townhalls while they are campaigning, you have to picket their local offices and their homes if necessary.  Call them constantly and call their local offices too! And, you have to take an hour out of this weekend and write a decent, thoughtful and informative letter to Senator Jeff Sessions Subcommittee, here.
Congress will return in November and they will be deciding how much money will be spent to bring in over 100,000 refugees in 2017—you have one more shot to save this country by telling them no!

Frankly, I am getting really tired of all the ranting and raving I’m getting from some of you here at RRW. With all the time you are spending reading social media and yammering and yelling, you could actually be putting pressure on the only people that matter right now—on Members of Congress and Senators because they (the Republican majority!) hold the purse strings.  No money=no unvetted refugees for your towns.
And, of course you must be working to elect Donald Trump.  If Hillary is elected we are finished!
Sorry (now I was ranting!), here is the comment from ‘Mom for Trump:’

Ann, could you tell all your readers on a daily basis to call our useless Congress @ 202 224 3121 and have them say DEFUND REFUGEE RESETTLEMENT PROGRAM. I call daily and if enough of us do so, we can make a difference. Would you also tell your readers if interested to join @ActForAmerica and follow @ACTBrigitte. I just joined this group and I’ve learned a lot about terrorism, the Muslim Brotherhood in our country and the Islamization of our country.

Act for America is the only national grassroots organization focused exclusively on immigration (and reforming the Refugee Admissions Program) from Islamic terrorist-producing countries.
