Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan has warned the European Union that his country may wave through up to three million migrants to Europe as Ankara reacted furiously to Thursday’s vote in the European Parliament calling on Turkey’s accession negotiations to be frozen.

Mr Erdogan said that Turkey could row back on the migrant pact signed with the EU in March, which has dramatically reduced the number of refugees entering the EU through Turkey.

As a condition of that deal, the EU promised to accelerate Turkey’s accession talks and consider granting visa-free access to Turkish citizens to Europe.

But concerns about the Turkish government’s increasingly authoritarian stance, as it clamps down on dissenters following July’s failed coup, has sparked calls for Turkey’s accession talks to be suspended.

Speaking in Istanbul on Friday, the Turkish president accused the EU of “betraying its promises”.

“If you go any further, these border gates will be opened,” he said, describing the parliament vote as a “dry threat”.

If Turkey opens its gates, I predict Erdogan should expect the so-called ‘anti-immigration’ parties to win big! So, his threat, if carried out will not help his case.

Elections are looming in a number of EU countries next year, including France, Germany and the Netherlands, with anti-immigration parties expected to poll strongly.

As a result, incumbent governments are unlikely to want to commit to granting 78 million Turkish people visa-free access to Europe.

On the Refugee Processing Center where the US State Department keeps the data on who is coming in to the country through the RAP, we have found that important parts of the site are unavailable again and we hope it is only a Thanksgiving weekend anomaly. Notice how the new site has become an advocacy-oriented site.  This is the sort of thing a new Secretary of State must know about and be ready to change!

Amnesty International is trying to influence a Hungarian election coming up in a week.  Hungarians will vote on whether to accept EU quotas on how many refugees each country must take, including Hungary.  Amnesty International has put out a ‘report’ on how mean Hungary is to the masses arriving from the Middle East.
(Standard International Leftist ploy, put out a report.  Why don’t we do that more often?)
Here is the news at the UK Express:

A report from the human rights agency claims the criminalisation of those hoping to seek asylum in Europe has erupted into violence, with many reporting police beatings and aggressive threats from detention centres.

Refugees are also allegedly being denied basic care, in a “flagrant breach” of intentional law and European Union directives.

The report comes just a week before [the timing is just coincidental, LOL!—ed] the country will take to the polls in a referendum to keep the decision on whether to accept more refugees in their hands – not Brussels’.

Many paragraphs later we see qouted one of those who talked to Amnesty. First note she is a Palestinian. What the heck, thought it was Syrians that are the flavor of the year.  Is Hungary expected to ‘welcome’ every Muslim who wants to come to the country from anywhere on the globe?
And, then look at this!  We are further expected to believe the ol’ grandma who can’t walk got all the way to the Hungarian border by presumably walking?  Or, were they chauffeur-driven? I’m pretty suspicious at this point. But, then see what the poor Palestinian ‘refugee’ says next.
Mean ol’ Hungary has no grass for her kids! Nothing green! Her kids are being deprived of grass in Hungary. What the heck! Do they have green lawns in Palestine?  And, it is hot in Hungary (hotter in Hungary than Palestine)! Sheesh! Just go home then!

One refugee, who spoke to Amnesty International, had travelled from Palestine with her husband, four children aged between three and 13, and her 72-year-old mother-in-law who is unable to walk.

She told the agency: “It’s not nice here for the children. It’s barbed wire and no grass, nothing green for them. It’s hot and not a good environment for them to be in.

“The first time we arrived here and saw this we were so scared. It looked like a jail, we were so scared. In Hungary there is suspicion.”

If that is the best maligned ‘refugee’ Amnesty can present, it is no wonder Hungarians are suspicious!
Stick to your guns Hungary and say NO!

France's Marine Le Pen on the UK vote: "springtime of the people"

And, a “new air” of patriotism.

I’m sure you either stayed up very late or jumped out of bed, like I did, eager to learn the results from the British vote to stay in the European Union or leave, to discover that the “leaves” have won!

Now, leaders, of what The Guardian wants you to be sure to understand, the FAR-RIGHT, are over the moon!  Longtime readers of RRW surely don’t need a big dissertation from me to explain that this vote was all about immigration and whether countries can choose for themselves who enters and what sort of nation they will be.
I bet a buck that if German Chancellor Angela Merkel had never “welcomed” hordes of mostly Muslims from Africa and the Middle East to invade Europe and then demanded that other countries in the EU take them in when Germany became overwhelmed, this vote would never have come out the way it did. (It might never have been called!)
I hope this sends a resounding message to the American electorate as we learn that a new wave of thousands upon thousands of border crossers are entering the US right now and Obama is pushing for his own flood of mostly Muslim refugees to change America as he promised he would 8 years ago.
Here is what The Guardian is reporting this morning:

Europe’s far-right parties hailed the UK’s vote to leave the European Union as a victory for their own anti-immigrant and anti-EU stance and vowed to push for similar referendums in their own countries.

France’s Front National (FN) saw it as a clear boost for Marine Le Pen’s presidential bid next year and momentum for the party’s anti-Europe and anti-immigration line.

Le Pen told RTL radio: “Like a lot of French people, I’m very happy that the British people held on and made the right choice. What we thought was impossible yesterday has now become possible.”

The Dutch far-right and anti-immigration leader Geert Wilders called on Friday for a referendum on the Netherlands’ membership of the European Union.

“I think it’s historic,” he told Dutch radio. “I think it could also have huge consequences for the Netherlands and the rest of Europe. Now it’s our turn. I think the Dutch people must now be given the chance to have their say in a referendum.”

In Germany, Beatrix von Storch, an MEP for rightwing populist party Alternative für Deutschland, who was recently expelled from the Tories’ party group in the European Parliament over her “shooting refugees” comments, welcomed the result.

“The 23 June is a historic day. It is Great Britain’s independence day. The people were asked – and they decided. The European Union as a political union has failed.”

… the leader of Italy’s far-right Northern League party was swift to celebrate the Brexit outcome. “Hurrah for the courage of free citizens! Heart, head and pride beat lies, threats and blackmail. THANKS UK, now it’s our turn,” said Matteo Salvini, whose popularity has increased in recent years on the back of an anti-EU, anti-immigration platform.

I watched CNN’s reporting this morning and Christiane Amanpour was interviewing some FAR-LEFT British pol and he called Le Pen a Nazi.  The international NO Borders agitators are squirming and wetting their pants today, name calling is all they have left. Hey, George Soros you lose! (And, Obama that is two losses for you in two days!)

If Miliband is so interested in British politics he should just go home!

Sheesh!  The US taxpayer gives $378 million a year to the NON-profit International Rescue Committee to, among other things, resettle refugees into many US cities—most recently they have plans for Missoula, MT—and here its CEO David Miliband (a British citizen being compensated to the tune of $600,000 a year) (see recent Form 990 here) is in the middle of huge controversy in the UK called Brexit.

Miliband and Cameron joined forces yesterday to oppose efforts to remove the UK from the EU.

Be sure to see how in 2013 Miliband was welcomed to NYC by Bill Clinton, George Soros, Madeleine Albright and Samantha Power.
Miliband was also the first resettlement contractor to call for 65,000 Syrian (mostly Muslim) refugees to be admitted to the US this year and subsequently upped the number to 100,000.

Ex-Labour leadership hopeful Mr Miliband, who lost the party crown to younger brother Ed [aka Red Ed—ed] in 2010, said: “It’s a mark of the stakes on June 23 that David Cameron and I have come together today.

“I’m sure it would be easy to poke fun at our unusual and temporary political alliance, but actually it is a sobering reflection of what is at issue.

“There is a centre-left case for Britain’s membership of the European Union and there is a centre-right case for Britain’s membership of the European Union.”

Frankly, after Londoners elected a Muslim mayor and in Europe there are riots about the invading Muslim migrants, doesn’t look like peace is in the offing for anyone, anywhere on the continent.
By the way, there was an article yesterday which suggested Miliband might be eyeing the seat in Parliament vacated by the newly elected mayor of London.  Maybe he is indeed angling to go home.  Don’t let the door hit you……

A major crisis is at hand as the Balkan countries close their borders (following Austria’s lead).
Because there is no serious will to do so, there is nothing to effectively stop the flow of illegal migrants into Greece from Turkey. Greek leaders fear their country will become one big refugee camp as the migrants cannot move toward Germany (the country whose streets they believe are paved with gold!).
Here is the story at the Malta Independent.  And below is a screen shot of the flow yesterday showing 2,972 came in from Turkey but the flow northward has all but stopped.

The rift over how to handle Europe’s immigration crisis ripped wide open Friday. As nations along the Balkans migrant route took more unilateral actions to shut down their borders, diplomats from EU nations bordering the Mediterranean rallied around Greece, the epicenter of the crisis.

Cypriot Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides – speaking on behalf of colleagues from France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Malta and Greece – said decisions on how to deal with the migrant influx that have already been made by the 28-nation bloc cannot be implemented selectively by some countries.

“This issue is testing our unity and ability to handle it,” Kasoulides told a news conference after an EU Mediterranean Group meeting. “The EU Med Group are the front-line states and we all share the view that unilateral actions cannot be a solution to this crisis.”

The Greek government is blaming Austria – a fellow member of Europe’s passport-free Schengen Area – for the flare-up in the crisis. Austria imposed strict border restrictions last week, creating a domino effect as those controls were also implemented by Balkan countries further south along the Balkans migration route.

Thousands of migrants are pouring into Greece every day and officials fear the country could turn into “a giant refugee camp” if they are unable to move north due to borders closures.
