US Asylum fraud a growing problem; will success of European Muslim invasion inspire more?

I believe it will!
We have written often over the years about asylum fraud.  But, before I give you the latest story, just a reminder about terminology in use here in America.
A “refugee” is generally considered someone who claims they will be persecuted for one of several reasons and is transported here to America and resettled by a federal contractor. (Running from crime or war is not persecution!)

Doris Meissner
One of those responsible for the present asylum system is Doris Meissner, former head of the INS. I’ll have more on her at American Resistance 2016! But, read about her here in my 2011 call for a Congressional investigation. https://refugeeresettlementwatch.org/2011/01/10/is-there-a-conspiracy-by-ngos-to-bring-asylum-seekers-to-us-borders/

An “asylum seeker” is someone who gets into the country either illegally or legally (visa overstays etc.) and then asks for asylum claiming he or she will be persecuted if sent home.  If granted asylum the migrant is often referred to as an “asylee” or sometimes as a “political refugee.”
Both asylees and refugees are eligible for all sorts of welfare goodies and often come under the ‘care’ (become clients) of a resettlement contractor whose job it is to get them signed up for their ‘services.’
In Europe, most of the hundreds of thousands of European invaders from Muslim countries will be asking for asylum hoping to be declared officially as refugees.  The EU’s big mistake is twofold, first they didn’t turn the boats back when the invasion began, and secondly they let them loose among their citizens when they should have built camps to hold them until their cases could be reviewed, but I digress!
I fully expect as migrants see the success asylum seekers are having in Europe there will be an even bigger run on US borders especially in this last year of the Obama Administration (before Trump builds the wall!).
By the way, it is almost exactly five years to the day that I called for a Congressional investigation of asylum fraud when I observed cases of young Somalis who spoke no English getting half way around the world via an enormously expensive trip, and knew to arrive at our southern border and ask for asylum.  I contend someone in the US is helping them!
Here is the news at Pajamas Media by Todd Bensman:

Until her 2013 arrest in Texas, the Mexico City-based Nepalese smuggler Rakhi Gauchan was one of the most prolific kingpin smugglers of Islamic world migrants that federal agents had seen in years.

During her long career, Gauchan delivered scores of Pakistanis, Bangladeshis, and Indians to the Texas and Arizona borders. Ten or more every month, according to court filings from her case. Immigration and Customs Enforcement “special interest alien” (SIA) hunters were glad to finally remove her from the borderlands, because Gauchan confided to an undercover government agent that she believed a Pakistani client she had smuggled into Arizona was a bonafide terrorist. ICE agents rushed to track down the Pakistani, learning he was quite real and living in America, having gained political asylum.

[….]

The Gauchan case, and other SIA smuggling prosecution cases I examined as part of my Naval Postgraduate School thesis research on illegal immigration from Muslim nations, demonstrate that these smugglers literally count on the ease of defrauding the U.S. asylum system to buoy illicit businesses that make terrorist border infiltration possible.

There is much more here.
By the way, the Tsarnaev Boston bomber brothers’ family was a successful asylum case.  I also believe the Chattanooga, Tennessee killer’s family was here having been granted asylum, but no one is talking that I know of.
When we talk about refugee admission numbers to the US each year (which in recent years has been around 70,000 per year), please remember that an additional 25,000 or so are granted asylum each year.  We didn’t choose and screen those ‘refugees’ they showed up here on their own steam.  Many thousands more than that 25,000 are basically loose in America waiting for their cases to be adjudicated.
Update: Be sure to see this excellent piece by Nayla Rush at the Center for Immigration Studies.  Did you know most asylum seekers are interviewed by phone and not in person as part of their approval process!

Calais (France) migrant camp on fire tonight

I’m only seeing this news on the UK Mirror so far…..
Update:  Daily Mail says it was an electrical fire unrelated to Paris slaughter (almost an unbelievable coincidence).  By the way, if you are a new reader and wonder why there is a huge migrant camp packed with Middle Easterners and Africans at Calais, those are all supposed ‘asylum seekers’ who aren’t asking for asylum in France because they want asylum in the UK where they think the welfare goodies are better. Thus the many-years-long stalemate.

And, it isn’t clear if it is a result of the attacks in Paris by Islamic terrorists.

Fire has reportedly broken out at the ‘jungle’ refugee camp in the port of Calais in the hours following the terror attacks in Paris.

At around 11pm volunteers at the camp began sharing pictures of the blaze on social media.

And soon after an anti-migrant group known as ‘The Angry of Calais’ posted videos of the inferno on Facebook.

One video appears to show emergency services vehicles arriving at the camp, which houses around 6,000 migrants – mainly young men from Syria and North Africa.

Is the European civil war here already?

Obama plan to use executive amnesty for a half a million illegal aliens, blocked in 5th Circuit Appeals Court decision

However, don’t get too excited!

It is very likely that the Obama Administration will appeal to the Supreme Court just in time to turn the whole thing into a spectacle in the run-up to the 2016 Presidential election a year from now.
In fact, the 5th Circuit has played right into the hands of the No Borders activists who told a Georgetown audience here, the week before last, that they plan to bring hundreds of thousands of pro-amnesty activists for a massive display of power to the steps of the Supreme Court in the critical months just ahead of the election.  If the Appeals Court had delayed a decision by several months, there would not have been time to get the case before the High Court before Obama leaves office.

marielena-headshot-3-188x125
Marielena Hincapie (National Immigration Law Center) said they are gearing up for a massive action if/when the DAPA case gets to the Supreme Court  in advance of the 2016 Presidential election.  You could almost see her rubbing her hands with glee at the Georgetown gathering at the prospect of a hundred thousand sign-carrying Latinos and their Leftist friends on the steps of the High Court. https://refugeeresettlementwatch.org/2015/10/30/washington-dc-gathering-of-open-borders-activistslawyers-was-revealing/

And, if you are wondering what all this has to do with the legal refugee program, I’ve been mentioning recently that all of those FOR amnesty for illegal aliens are working very closely with the nine federal ‘non-profit’ resettlement contracting agencies in a quest to change America’s demographic make-up.  So there is no sense in us keeping the two issues separate any longer.
Here is the Huffington Post on the decision:

A federal appeals court on Monday agreed to keep on hold President Barack Obama’s executive order on immigration — nearly a year after he announced it as a backstop measure to Congress’ failure to enact comprehensive immigration reform.

The divided, 124-page ruling deals a blow to the administration’s Deferred Action for Parental Accountability program, known as DAPA, and there may be just enough time for a formal appeal to the Supreme Court to be resolved ahead of the 2016 election.

In ruling against the government, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit largely agreed with a lower court judge, who in February issued a “nationwide injunction” that effectively stopped DAPA from taking effect, and concurred that Texas and other states that sued the president over the program had legal “standing” to challenge its constitutionality in federal court.

The appeals court accepted Texas’ argument that an expansion of immigration relief to include a wider class of undocumented immigrants would cause the state to “incur significant costs in issuing driver’s licenses to DAPA beneficiaries” — a basic “harm” requirement for any litigant seeking standing to sue.

[….]

Based on how the high court accepts and decides cases on appeal, advocates and experts have warned that undue delays from the 5th Circuit would foreclose administration lawyers from appealing the ruling in time before Obama leaves office — which in turn leaves the fate of DAPA in the hands of his White House successor.

But supporters of Obama’s immigration policies said there’s still time for the Supreme Court to get involved.

Let the cheering begin!
They are cheering at La Raza, and at the National Immigration Law Center, and at the US Conference of Catholic Bishops (and at its legal arm CLINIC), and at Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service and at the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society as a big show on the steps of the Supreme Court could advance their mass migration agenda for years to come if it results in assuring a Republican (like Trump) is not the next President.  No doubt—immigration will be THE issue of 2016!  (This Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals decision has just assured us of that!)

Calais crisis: Illegal migrants say they will continue to swarm the tunnel to get into the UK

Invasion of Europe news……

You have probably seen all of the news this week from Calais, France where illegal aliens who got into Europe elsewhere are piled up looking to get into the UK where they think they will get the most social service benefits.  BTW, legitimate asylum seekers are supposed to ask for asylum in the first safe country in which they arrive.  Asylum shopping is what is happening here.
From the International Business Times:

After thousands of migrants made repeated attempts to storm the Channel Tunnel that connects the French port of Calais with Britain this week, politicians and newspapers in the country have begun talking tough. Whether British authorities can match the determination of migrants, many of whom have endured dangerous, months-long journeys in their quest to reach England, however, remains uncertain.

Over 3,500 attempts have been made by migrants, many of whom are from countries in Africa, the Middle East and central Asia, to enter the tunnel this week. The deployment of French riot police, armed with pepper spray, dogs and batons, has not succeeded in stopping the attempts, though on Wednesday, the latest day for which data is available, only 300 people were reported to have tried to access the tunnel, down from 1,500 each of the previous two nights.

A Sudanese man died on Wednesday, after being hit by a truck that transports vehicles through the tunnel, French police said, according to Reuters. French media said he was the ninth migrant to be killed in the crisis since early June.

Prime Minister David Cameron warned migrants Thursday that the U.K. was “no safe haven,” for them, adding that illegal immigrants would be removed from the country. Earlier in the week, he described the thousands of migrants gathered in Calais as a “swarm,” prompting angry condemnation from rights groups and opposition politicians.

I am continually amazed that our so-called leaders, especially the Republicans, don’t see what is happening in Europe and know that we are headed down the same path.  Do you think that some Romans saw the fall of Rome in advance?

California No Borders activists call Illegal aliens "refugees" in Napa Valley; want Pelosi to send federal cash

Editor:  Subscribers might have just gotten this post in early draft form since my computer is giving me fits this morning! Sorry about that!
This little story in the Napa Valley Register (St. Helena Star) caught my eye since I was just in the beautiful Napa Valley last week.

LOL! Check out this story at Top Right News: http://toprightnews.com/nancy-pelosi-illegal-aliens-border-wish-take-home/

This is what the No Borders Left and their friends in the Catholic Church are trying to do everywhere—-re-classify illegal aliens by calling them “refugees.”
The word “refugee” has a very important distinction that activists like the Jesuit priest and his friends in this story want to erase and that is that a legitimate refugee must be able to prove that he/she is being personally persecuted for one of several reasons including race, religion, or political view and is thus in danger if returned to their home country.  This might seem like a little point to make, but believe me it is a big deal issue for the Left.
Illegal workers in Napa Valley are economic migrants, not refugees.  But, the Left (the Religious Left too) sure would like them designated as refugees so that they will be eligible for all forms of social services and will be given permission to work and eventually to vote here.
From the Napa Valley Register (St. Helena Star) (emphasis is mine):

According to the UN High Commission on Refugees (UNHCR), 51 million men, women, and children have been displaced from their homes due to famine, disease, or economic hardship.

Some of those are in the Napa Valley.

St. Helenans Martin and Rita Bennett invited Father Peter Balleis of the Jesuit Refugee Service to St. Helena on World Refugee Day, June 20, to speak to small groups of people.

Martin Bennett said his focus has become one of advocacy for those who are displaced, the so-called “illegals,” undocumented migrants who come looking for work in the restaurants and the vineyard fields. “The Napa Valley is unparalleled in its generosity to causes,” he said. “But these refugees are here, in the valley, seeking employment.”  [Again, they are NOT refugees.—ed]

And even though they are not necessarily visible or perceived as refugees, he said, their plight needs to be addressed. “We can go where they are, find out what they need, and try to help,” he said. “And we can write letters to the State Department, to Nancy Pelosi, and to Mike Thompson, to encourage them to increase the budget for addressing the issues of refugees.”

I wondered if Pelosi ‘welcomes refugees’ to her California vineyard and found this 2014 story and photo.
