Armed smugglers threaten Italian Coast Guard as 2,200 more migrants brought to Europe from Libya

Historians (if there are any!) in the future will wonder how on earth Europe allowed itself to be overrun!

Is it time to follow the Australian example?

 

One of many rescues by the Italian government.  What will Italy, Malta and other European countries do with the migrants? None of these mostly young men will be sent back!

 

And, readers, let me ask you, how often do we hear about the African/Middle Eastern invasion of Europe from the US mainstream media?

The only way to stop this now is for the Italian military to turn these boats back to the African coast!

Four smugglers brandishing Kalashnikovs threatened an Italian Coast Guard motorboat involved in one of several operations that rescued more than 2,000 migrants leaving Libyan shores on Sunday.

Italian Transport Minister Maurizio Lupi said the gunmen used a small boat to speed to the scene some 50 miles off the coast of Libya, where security is rapidly deteriorating.

After threatening the rescuers who had taken aboard the migrants, three of the smugglers jumped onto the then-empty migrants’ boat and took off with it.  [So they were allowed to recover the boat and will use it again—ed]

Nearly 2,200 migrants were rescued in several operations Sunday, the Coast Guard said. They were being taken to Italian ports. Hundreds were also rescued Saturday.

Turn them back!

Simon Kent writing at Breitbart news tells us the only thing that will stop the invasion is if European leaders grew a spine and followed the lead of the Australian government by turning back the migrant boats full of faux ‘refugees.’

If illegal immigrants knew that simply arriving on European soil would be no guarantee of staying, would they still risk it? If people smugglers also knew that, would they be able to extort huge amounts of money from the desperately vulnerable in the vain attempt to try? Australia provides an example of how Europe’s expensive, public display of overt compassion is killing the very people it is trying to help.

Under the current coalition government of Prime Minister Tony Abbott, the flow of refugees seeking to enter Australia by boat has stopped. Abbott’s government tows any vessel found straight back to where it started from. In most cases that is Indonesia. The policy of immediate return has been well publicised and those who do make it into Australian territorial waters are sent to offshore islands in New Guinea or Nauru for processing.

Australia then uses its famous ‘points based system’ to decide who is a genuine refugee and who is an economic migrant. End of story. The Abbott government went to the September 2013 polls promising to ‘stop the boats’ on the basis that the journey the asylum seekers make is dangerous and controlled by criminal gangs and they have a duty to stop it.

RRW does Fox and Friends this morning….

Yesterday I got a call from Fox asking me to appear on Fox & Friends today and I agreed.  It was a first for me.  I realized how hard it is to say much in a few minutes.   Here is the clip of my interview (thanks to our friend Brenda Walker at Limits to Growth who posted it).

Asked what my biggest problem with the expansion is, this is what I said:

My biggest problem is the lawlessness coming from the White House on this particular issue. I followed the refugee program for the last seven years; this is a major jump in expansion of the program. I also think that immigration is our existential threat in this country, both the numbers and who we are bringing in.

LANCASTER – November is a month where many remember to be thankful for what they have. During International Education Week, Lancaster campus students, faculty and staff will have an opportunity to hear from refugees in Central Ohio who are very thankful to be living here.

The campuses at Ohio University have different themes during International Week to examine issues of cultural tolerance and understanding.

“The theme for Ohio University Lancaster’s International Education Week is Safe Haven: Refuge in Ohio,” said OUL development director Mandi Custer. “We will be looking at the different cultures that have come into Central Ohio from places like Rwanda and Somalia.”

On Tuesday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m., a panel discussion will be held (“Voices of Refuge”) in the Raymond S. Wilkes Gallery for the Visual Arts. The panel will be made up of refugees from around the globe talking about how they came to the United States and Central Ohio.

On Wednesday, Nov. 19 at 6:30 p.m., conflict in another country will take center stage at OUL. Somali Refugee and Documentarian Tariq Tarey will speak in the Wagner Theatre.

Then isn’t this interesting, presented as if there is nothing wrong with Somalis (or anyone) arriving illegally across our southern border, Tariq Tarey will talk about an illegal alien Somali.

So where did the poor struggling Somali illegal alien get the money to travel half way across the world to Colombia, and up through Panama, Central America and across all of Mexico with no one stopping him along the way? Will anyone dare ask that question of presenter Tariq Tarey?

And, while you are asking, ask why the star of his documentary needed to come illegally when we have resettled over one hundred thousand Somalis over a couple of decades—there is a legal line for Somalis!

According to the Somali Community Association of Ohio***, Somali refugees started arriving in the U.S. in 1991. Since 1995, Columbus, Ohio, has proven to be a popular destination for refugees, and today Ohio has the second largest Somali population in the U.S. It is estimated that there are at least 38,000 Somali immigrants and refugees living in the Columbus metropolitan area.

Tarey will talk about how and why refugees from Somalia end up in Central Ohio. He’ll also show clips from his documentaries, which focus on the stories of refugees.

“One of the stories is of a man who literally walked from South America to California to get into the states,” said Custer.

“Tarey’s documentary on the Darién Gap is harrowing, but also interesting,” said Ohio University Lancaster English Assistant Professor Matt Wanat. “It uses the journey of one man through a stretch of dense forest and swamp between Colombia and Panama to document both the multinational nature of the refugee experience and the hardships so many face. I look forward to Mr. Tarey’s talk.”

***The Somali Community Association of Ohio has one of the strangest Form 990’s I’ve ever looked at.

Note on page 9 of its most recent form, here.  Total revenue was $354,331 and $353,761 came from government grants.  They received $570 from non-cash contributions so they are 99% funded by taxpayers.

Then go to page 10 where they have listed:

$4,104 for compensation to officers, but no other salaries and yet they spent $2,206 for payroll taxes.

$27,254 was spent for occupancy and $6,000 for accounting (for this tiny outfit?).  But zero office expenses are listed.  See some of the other misc. expenses as well.

Most of their money, a whopping $298,289 went for a summer food program which I see they do have in Ohio for poor kids to eat over the summer.  I don’t have time to look for their government grant for this food program, but since they had no other income that year the food grant (was it halal food?) also covered a few of their other expenses…like the $27,254 occupancy expense…to the tune of over $55,000 for the year.  Hmmmm!  Audit needed here?

Obama’s illegal alien “Dreamers” (cheaters!) are voting

And, you can be sure that many LEGAL refugees, diversity visa lottery winners and temporary protected status holders among other “legal” immigrants are voting too.

The legal refugees and others have to wait five years before seeking citizenship, but you can be sure that anyone who barely speaks English (Somalis for example) who show up at the polls are not yet US citizens.

Get that drivers license and voting rights are assured.   Rarely do states follow-up and check the status of those who checked the YES box to the citizenship question when applying for a drivers license.

But, here in a story from Breitbart (hat tip: Julia) we see that someone is checking in North Carolina:

With the North Carolina U.S. Senate race in a dead heta, state election officials say they have discovered 145 names on the voting rolls who are ineligible to vote because they are illegal immigrants who have been granted President Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals status.

According to a Winston-Salem Journal report, the State Board of Elections discovered the potential illegal voters Tuesday night when the N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles ran a search for DACA licenses. The 145 DACA recipients whose names appear on the SBOE’s voting rolls will be sent letters requesting documentation that they are citizens, the report noted.

DACA beneficiaries in North Carolina are able to obtain drivers licenses, but they are not able to vote.

The Journal notes that it is likely more ineligible people may still remain on the voting rolls.

Nearly 10,000 names on the rolls are tagged by the DMV as “legally present,” according to elections and transportation officials. But that doesn’t mean that all 10,000 are ineligible to vote at this time. These are license holders who were not U.S. citizens when they got a license. They may have been green-card holders, foreign workers or foreign students, for example.

Most have become U.S. citizens since getting a license, according to an estimate by elections officials based on a sample of the overall list.

According to the report, earlier this month the SBOE officials did a sample cross-check of 1,600 of the 10,000 “legally present” names against a Department of Homeland Security database and found that 94 percent were U.S. citizens and eligible to vote. However, that still meant that six percent were ineligible, meaning if the ratio held for the whole 10,000, 600 people would be ineligible.

Mike Charbonneau, a DMV spokesman, told the Journal that it is now cross checking all the names.

Good for you North Carolina!  Every state should be vigorously pursuing the cheaters!

The Irish Times has published a very detailed article about the alien invasion of primarily Italy (from Italy they move on northward) as tens of thousands of Africans and Middle Easterners attempt the sea crossing into Europe.  Many die in the attempt, but the Italian government is funding a costly campaign to rescue them at sea.

In my view, they will never stop coming until European governments start turning those boats back to North Africa.

Why do we publish so much about Europe when America is being invaded as well?  Because you need to know it is worse and demographic conquest is more advanced and speeding up in Europe.  A lesson for us?  I sure hope so!   See the Irish Times, here.
