Guest column: The abuser is a “refugee” or “asylum seeker”

Editor’s note:  Reader ‘Pungentpeppers’ has gathered together some recent news for a brief summary of some items that fit a pattern worldwide.  Of course the first one is a story we have covered—the Australian-Iranian refugee terrorist from last week—however we didn’t discuss his record of abusing women.   Guest posts are welcome, but keep them short and send links to the news stories to which you are referring.  Guest posts and lengthy informative comments to an existing post are archived in our comments worth noting’ category.

When a domestic abuser is not deported, that’s deadly! Stories from December.

AUSTRALIA – Iranian fake sheik and refugee, Man Haron Monis (aka Mohammad Hassan Manteghi), held 17 hostages at gunpoint at a Sydney cafe and coffee shop, then killed 2 of them. The refugee had ABUSED his WIFE and was involved in her brutal MURDER. He was facing more than 40 charges of ASSAULT against WOMEN. Yet he was allowed to roam free in Australia’s largest city and was not deported – with tragic consequences.

In North Carolina (a big resettlement state), Arab Mohamed Ali, 35 will get 12 years for strangling his wife, then he will be out on a North Carolina street again. Based on our track record, deportation is unlikely.

CANADA – Somali refugee, Yusuf Osman Abdille, STABBED HIS WIFE and TWO CHILDREN TO DEATH, then “fell” from a bridge onto a Toronto parkway, landing in mid-day traffic in front of a hapless driver. The murder victim, Zahra Abdille, was a refugee who worked as a public health nurse in Canada. At one point, she had fled her abuser and took the children to a shelter for domestic violence victims. Later, she sought court protection but – unable to afford an attorney – she was denied relief. That final factor probably would not have prevented these deaths – but a deportation order would have.

CANADA – Attempted murderer Yiyan Xie, a Chinese national, is playing the deportation excuse game. Xie was due in Kitchener, Ontario, court this month for sentencing for his ATTEMPTED MURDER conviction of his EX-GIRLFRIEND, Yiyang Hao, a university student. Prior to the KNIFE ATTACK, he had bombarded Hao with emails for months, THREATENING to KILL her. In court, his attorney asserted that if Xie were deported to China, he might be executed. Boo hoo! Isn’t that what he planned for his girlfriend?!

UNITED STATES – An Ethiopian refugee, Arab Mohamed Ali, 35, will spend at least 12 years in prison after pleading guilty in the STRANGULATION MURDER of his WIFE Safaya Dadacha, 23, in 2013. After committing the horrendous deed, the murderer himself called 911 and waited with his two children for police to arrive. Let’s hope he’ll be DEPORTED! But maybe not…..  [US taxpayers paid to resettle him, now you get to pay for his incarceration.—ed]

During FY2013, the Obama Administration – instead of deporting – released offenders who had committed 1,317 acts of domestic violence. (See Senator Chuck Grassley below.) The Ethiopian murderer has two kids he did not kill – that’s “family”, isn’t it? And with the PC concern about uniting immigrant “families” – even though domestic abusers are deadly to families – this perp might eventually be released to wreak havoc upon the surviving kids.

Immigration lawyers and activists oppose deportation of domestic abusers. They say it’s unfair because we cannot deport our own domestic offenders. I say, if you have too much trash and trouble – get rid of some of the junk!

Vermont refugee worker charged with embezzling from non-profit’s clients

Just a quick story in our favorite “welcoming” state of Vermont.  Clearly a former refugee herself, it’s alleged that Ms. Mbayu stole from other refugees.

If convicted Mbayu could get ten years in the slammer.

From the Burlington Free Press  (hat tip: Joanne):

A former caseworker at the Association of Africans Living in Vermont is facing a charge of embezzlement for pocketing $34,000 in tax refunds of two of her clients in recent years, Burlington Police said Friday.

Francine Mbayu, 43, of Burlington is due in Vermont Superior Court on Oct. 30 for arraignment on the felony embezzlement count, police said.

Detective Cpl. Michael Hemond said Mbayu diverted the tax refunds of the two victims between 2011 and 2014 into her bank account and illegally retained all or a portion of each refund.

I would love to dig into the financials for the Association of Africans Living in Vermont, but no time today. If you are a Vermonter reading this, remember it’s important to research the refugee organizations and operatives in your state (a message for readers in every state!).

See some of our recent posts on Vermont (the green card state!) which touts itself as a state welcoming diversity, but surprise! gets very few refugees.

Minnesota: Somali refugee gets 18 years for attempted murder

Why such a stiff sentence for ‘attempted’ murder of one gang member by another?

From the Minneapolis Star Tribune last week (hat tip: ‘pungentpeppers’):

A St. Paul man was sentenced to 18 years in prison for what a Hennepin County prosecutor called a brazen and unprovoked shooting at a Minneapolis food store last year.

Zakaria Yusuf, 25, was convicted of attempted second-degree murder in June. His sentence was the maximum allowed under the state’s sentencing guidelines. Judge Daniel Moreno said Yusuf continues to be arrogant and to have a complete disregard for other people’s lives.

Judge Daniel Moreno: Yusuf is arrogant and has a complete disregard for human life.

According to the criminal complaint and testimony at the trial, the victim, who is a member of the Somali Outlawz Gang, was standing outside the store at 201 W. Lake St. on Sept. 22, talking with two of his friends. Yusuf, who was known to associate with the St. Pistol Boys gang in St. Paul and Somali gangs in the Cedar-Riverside area, walked up to the group, pulled a gun from his waistband and fired it at the victim, hitting him in the arm.

The victim ran into the store and Yusuf kept firing, hitting him several more times. The victim collapsed and Yusuf fired one more time from the doorway, with the bullet hitting the victim’s arm when he threw it across his head for protection. He was hospitalized at Hennepin County Medical Center and eventually was discharged.

However, the victim refused to cooperate with the prosecution and was placed under court-ordered electronic home monitoring to be sure he would show up at the trial.

Meanwhile in Canada, a research project sought to find out why so many Somali youths in Edmonton were turning up dead, but it looks like the same old excuses—not enough opportunity, struggling with the cultural differences, blah, blah, blah.

Click here for our archive on Somali gang violence in Edmonton.  There need to be serious consequences for immigrant criminal gangs, maybe this judge is doing exactly the right thing with this stiff sentence for the arrogant punk.

By the way, as usual I couldn’t find a readily identifiable photo of the convicted Minnesota man, but found this one of someone (a mean looking dude) with the same name from the same city who in 2010 was arrested for beating a “good Samaritan.”  Surely they didn’t let that Zakaria Yusuf out that quickly!  Or, did they?

And, just think! You raised these ‘youths’ on your dime!

Owners of dogs which killed jogger were asylum frauds, should have been deported by now

I’m sure you all heard the story on the news that a jogger was mauled and killed by dogs in rural Metamora, Michigan late last month.  Due to some excellent reporting at the Detroit Free Press we now know that the owners of the dogs were political “refugees” (she from Albania) who should have never been allowed into the US and were expected to be deported (sometime in the future).

Unofficial RRW crime investigator ‘pungentpeppers’ spotted this story that goes beyond the original headlines.

The Albanian woman lied and bribed greedy immigration officials in New York.  What!  asylum seekers lie? Officials take bribes? You betcha, have we forgotten the Boston bomber asylees so quickly!   And, you can bet clever immigration lawyers are working up some whoppers for the border crashing “children” at this very moment.

From the Detroit Free Press:

The Metamora couple whose dogs killed a jogger last week are in the U.S. illegally and were facing imminent deportation at the time of the attack.

Valbona Lucaj, 44, got into the country from Albania in January 1997 after bribing an immigration officer into granting her asylum, according to federal court filings. Her Italian husband, Sebastiano Quagliata, 45, arrived a month earlier as a tourist and never left.

Jogger Sytsma is dead, the dogs soon will be dead, and the alien creeps will probably do time in prison on the US taxpayer’s dime all due to our deeply flawed asylum system. http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2014/07/25/dogs-killed-jogger-neighbors-react/13192027/

The two are potentially facing involuntary manslaughter charges after their Cane Corso dogs attacked and killed Craig Sytsma, 46, of Livonia on July 23 as he jogged past their home on a rural Metamora Township road. Lapeer County prosecutors are expected to announce a decision on criminal charges this week. It is unclear what, if any impact, their citizenship status will have on possible prosecution.

The couple have been fighting deportation for years since immigration officials discovered that Lucaj had paid $3,000 to an immigration officer in New York to grant her asylum. That asylum was then granted to Quagliata because he was her spouse.

But on March 31 of this year, U.S. District Judge Gerald Rosen refused to stop their deportation, siding with immigration officials who said that Lucaj “lacked good moral character arising out of fraud in obtaining asylum.”

The pair repeatedly lied to immigration officials as they sought asylum and then naturalization, according to the files.

There is much more, read it all.

For new readers, the asylum process is for people who get their feet on American soil and then claim they are persecuted back home for: race, religion, nationality, membership in a particular social group or political opinion (the Albanian woman in this story said she was persecuted for being Catholic in a largely Muslim country).  If granted asylum they get all the social service goodies and all the rights, including a path to citizenship that regular “refugees” (which the UN and the US State Department selected abroad and brought here) receive.

Earlier this year, the New York Times (of all places!) published a huge investigative story about the amount of asylum fraud among the Chinese in New York. Then there is that Russian gay asylum fraud racket.

The whole asylum system that the anti-borders people are pushing for the ‘unaccompanied alien children’ to enter is, in my view, rotten to the core.

Iraqi refugee sentenced to 26 years to life for murdering wife wants to be executed…

….so his body can be taken ‘home’ to Iraq.

The convicted murderer weeps at wife’s Muslim funeral when it was still believed she was killed by Islamophobes! http://www.nytimes.com/2012/03/28/us/killing-of-iraqi-woman-leaves-immigrant-community-shaken.html?_r=0

Sentencing, a week ago today in June was the final step in the lengthy investigation and murder trial that surely cost the taxpayers of California a bundle.  Not only did Kassim Al-Himidi brutally murder his wife, but left a note at the murder scene that first led investigators to think that a hate-crime against Muslim immigrants had occurred.

And, this is what we are paying for in our “humanitarian” refugee resettlement program!

All of our coverage of the case is here. (El Cajon Iraqi hate crime archive, see especially “fishy” hate crime story here on April fools’ day 2012).

From the Los Angeles Times:

An Iraqi immigrant was sentenced Monday to 26 years to life in prison for the 2012 bludgeon slaying of his wife in their El Cajon home.

Kassim Al-Himidi, 50, left a note near the body to mislead investigators into thinking that the fatal beating of his wife, Shaima Alawadi, 32, was an anti-immigrant hate crime, prosecutors said.

Still loudly protesting his innocence, Al-Himidi told Judge William McGrath at the sentencing Monday that he would prefer to be executed so his body could be returned to his native Iraq.

Read it all.

About the photo:  I wonder did the New York Times ever update (apologize!) that story depicting the people of El Cajon as racist and Islamophobic!
