Minnesota: More Somali refugee “youths” arrested on terror charges, FBI to comment today

Update April 26th:  More excitement in Little Mogadishu as feds arrest another refugee ‘youth,’ here.

Update April 21st: They were not without prospects for a good future in America, here.

News that is getting all too common…..Surprise! They wanted to join ISIS!

From Breitbart:

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Six people were arrested Sunday in connection with a terrorism investigation in Minnesota, where authorities have been tracking youths who have traveled or tried to travel to Syria to fight with militants, including the Islamic State group, authorities said.

A spokesman for the Minnesota U.S. Attorney’s Office said the arrests were made in Minneapolis and San Diego but there is no threat to public safety. Spokesman Ben Petok did not give details about the charges. He said more information would be released Monday.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office and the FBI planned a news conference Monday to announce details. The news conference was billed in a press release as an announcement of a joint terrorism task force operation.

Harpstead is one of those contractors responsible for seeding Minnesota with Somalis. She pulls down a salary and benefits package of over $300,000 a year to ‘change’ Minnesota. Her ‘Christian charity’ is 89% taxpayer-funded. https://refugeeresettlementwatch.org/2015/03/26/lutheran-social-service-of-minnesota-is-responsible-for-the-somali-chaos-in-st-cloud/

BTW, if I were in charge I would let them go and revoke their passports so they can never come back.  Now we will have to pay for their incarceration and a charade of rehabilitation (besides having raised them on the taxpayer’s dime).

Who is responsible in Minnesota for colonizing the state with shariah-loving Somalis?

These Somalis didn’t just “find their way” to Minnesota, they were “resettled” there by federal refugee resettlement contractors.

For new readers, check out this post:   US State Department and its resettlement contractors are responsible for the Somalis they delivered to over 60 towns in Minnesota (over 10,000 Somalis in the last ten years)!  That is in addition to the approximately 2,000 ‘secondary migrants’ (refugees placed elsewhere) who head to Minnesota each year.

In recent research, we learned that five of the nine major US resettlement contractors are operating in “welcoming” Minnesota.  Four are so-called ‘Christian charities.’

Here are the nine major federal resettlement contractors (increasingly working to resettle those ‘unaccompanied alien children’ as well).  Those with offices in Minnesota are in red.

As Minnesota goes (demographically), so goes the Nation

Here is a long article published originally at Brookings basically warning America that the white population is fading out, getting old, retiring and dying off and we better darn well educate the immigrants in order to replace us in the workforce.

So far, it isn’t going well as we learned just the other day that half of the Somali population of Minnesota lives in poverty.

Here are a few snips from the beginning of the story (I don’t have the time or patience to read it all!).

Refugee resettlement is named as one of the main reasons for the demographic shift in Minnesota (thank Catholic Charities, Lutheran Social Service and World Relief renamed Arrive Ministries for that! See here!).

Minnesota and the surrounding states of the upper Midwest are experiencing a demographic revolution. Yet that fact and its significance are just beginning to sink in, which is why many residents of the greater Minneapolis-St. Paul area, whatever their own ethnicity, still refer to their community matter-of-factly as “lily white.” And while it’s true that with a 78% Caucasian population the Twin Cities are still far less ethnically diverse than other parts of the United States—among them the far West and Southeast as well as gateway cities and multicultural hubs like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, San Francisco, and Miami—it’s also becoming less true with every passing year. One big reason: immigration.

[….]

As former Minneapolis mayor R.T. Rybak says, “Our diversity is more diverse” than many other places because the state in general, and Minneapolis-St. Paul in particular, have been hubs of refugee resettlement for decades. The region has twice the share of immigrants from Southeast Asia as the United States as a whole (21% versus 10% of the immigrant population), and five times the share of immigrants from Africa as the nation as a whole (21% versus 4%).

Minnesota is home to Mexicans, Hmong, Indians, Vietnamese, Somalis, Liberians, and Ethiopians. Its people of color also include American-born Native Americans, Hispanics, Asians, and African-Americans. According to the State Demographic Center, the Asian, black, and Hispanic populations in the state tripled between 1990 and 2010, while the white population grew by less than 10%. This trend will continue: From 2010 to 2030, the number of people of color is expected to grow twice as quickly as the number of whites. As Minnesota and the region go, so goes the nation, which is also becoming ever more diversified, with an overall decline in the percentage of whites, and increase in people of color.

Minnesota: More than half of the state’s Somalis live in poverty, yet feds and contractors continue to pour them into the US

At the present resettlement rate, the US State Department will admit nearly another 10,000 Somalis to the US by September 30th, the end of the fiscal year (as of the beginning of March the contractors distributed 3,944 new Somalis to American towns and cities).

This story is from Minnesota where three US resettlement contractors are still bringing them in even if there are no jobs!

Remember in February US State Department’s mouthpiece Psaki said we must find jobs for jihadists in the Middle East. So, following their own logic, why can’t they see that by flooding America with Somalis (who can’t find work), they are creating the same explosive situation in your home towns! http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2015/02/17/state-department-spokeswoman-floats-jobs-as-answer-to-isis/

Who is to blame?   Lutheran Social Service (we told you about them here just last week), Catholic Charities and World Relief (renamed Arrive Ministries).  More than half of the state’s Somalis live in poverty and these so-called “Christian charities” just keep bringing them in!

Those three “charities” have seeded Minnesota with 10,000 Somalis in ten years (in addition to the thousands in previous years!).  They have created a monster!

Remember in February when US State Department Spokeswoman, Jen Psaki, said we had to find jobs for ISIS militants so that they would give up their Islamic jihad agenda!  So, why don’t they follow their own logic?   By pouring Somalis into the US (where there are no jobs), the State Department and the contractors are setting up the same potentially explosive situation?

From Minnesota Public Radio about a recent Somali job fair in Minneapolis:

As the economy picks up across Minnesota, the state’s Somali-born population continues to battle higher than average unemployment.

The most recent figures, for 2011-2013, put Somalis’ unemployment at 21 percent, about three times the rate for the general population during the same period of time.

Some Somali community leaders are concerned that the lack of opportunities can fuel despair, especially among young people.

[….]

Census numbers show that of Minnesota’s five largest immigrant groups, Somali unemployment is the highest. More than half of the state’s Somalis live in poverty.

“We have the highest unemployment rate than any other groups — including the newcomers,” Mohamud Noor, Confederation of Somali Community in Minnesota executive director, said in February. He was speaking at a news conference held in response to a White House address on countering violent extremism.

Social problems — including unemployment and a lack of opportunity — can fuel sympathy for international extremism, he said: “Almost 30 percent [unemployment]. Nobody’s talking about that.”

[….]

Mohamud Noor, who leads the Confederation of Somali Community in Minnesota, watched this week as job-seekers clustered around recruiting tables for the Department of Homeland Security, Family Dollar and Delta Global Services at the Brian Coyle Center.

He said he was pleased to see tables for the Minneapolis Police Department and Hennepin County staffed by Somali employees. But he noted the prevalence of government and nonprofit employers: “Quite honestly, I’m disappointed.” he said. “I don’t see the Fortune 500 here.”

It is all about finding them jobs. They all whine and moan, but no one ever says:   We must halt the Somali migration to America!

Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota is responsible for the Somali chaos in St. Cloud

If you are angry (about the tension in St. Cloud) and want one entity to blame, it is Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota, the primary federal refugee resettlement agency working in St. Cloud!

That supposedly ‘Christian’ charitable organization is directly responsible for the high Somali numbers in St. Cloud, and they are jointly responsible for bringing over ten thousand Somalis from around the world to colonize Minnesota towns in the last ten years alone—Catholic Charities and World Relief MN (now Arrive Ministries)*** helped also.  Of course they have brought many more than 10,000 in over two decades and not just Somali Muslims!

Rumor has it that 1,500 new Somalis are going to be resettled by the Lutherans in St. Cloud this year.  (This is part of former Rep. Michele Bachmann’s district!)

Doing well by doing good? Jodi Harpstead is making over $300,000 a year to seed St. Cloud and other Minnesota towns with Somali Muslims.

These three ‘Christian’ phony non-profits (phony Christians!) could stop the US State Department’s further seeding of the state if they just said NO!  We won’t resettle any more Muslim ‘refugees.’   But they don’t!  Why?

Why? Because it is big business (as we learned from Lutherans in New England)!  They dare not challenge their sugar daddy—the federal government!  And, they must be afraid of the growing power of the Islamists and the Islamist front group—Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR)—which they are responsible for unleashing on the city of St. Cloud.

So how much money does it take to buy the Lutherans?

Back in 2013 we told you that then Minnesota Lutheran CEO, Mark Peterson, was pulling down a salary of $441,767.

We went to a recent audit linked on their website and here are some numbers we found (audit ending September 30, 2014):

They had total revenue of $103,135,439 and received $91,887,312 from GOVERNMENT FEES AND GRANTS.  (Go here and click on ‘financials’ to see for yourself).

That makes them 89% government funded!  That is a government agency not a charity, and surely not a ‘Christian’ charity!

The progressive ‘religious Left’ is living off of the US taxpayer!

Doing well by doing good?

Salaries and payroll accounted for $57,929,172 of your money—your tax dollars for that one year!

Jodi doesn’t pull down a salary as high as Peterson (LOL! War on women?) her predecessor did, but it is fairly substantial none-the-less as we learned from a recent Form 990.  She was compensated with $280,812 and an additional $42,495 came from related organizations (whatever that is!).

Her second in command, Kenneth Borle, made $202,087 and $33,192 (from related organizations).

They have 8 other employees making over six-figure salaries!

Go here for the others in leadership at Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota responsible for building the aggressive and demanding Muslim population of the state.

And if you are looking for more people to blame for what is happening to Minnesota, here is the Board of Directors (do you know any of them?):

*** An indicator that the heat is on some of these phony Christian organizations is that they are changing their names.  Note that World Relief Minnesota is now Arrive Ministries and Lutheran Social Services of New England is now Ascentria Care Alliance (here).

No surprise! CAIR arrives in wake of St. Cloud Somali school protest

This is an update of our post from Sunday where we reported that Somali students claim they are being bullied because they are Somali Muslims.

One more reason your town should resist if a new refugee resettlement site is being planned!

You are watching the Hijra, the agitation phase of the Islamic migration, in real time!  Learn from it!

CAIR Minnesota Director Jaylani Hussein. CAIR had settled a lawsuit with this same school district in 2011. http://www.cairmn.com/about-us/cair-mn-staff.html

From the Saint Cloud Times:

Members of the St. Cloud Somali community have assembled a task force of around 15 people to meet with St. Cloud school district officials and seek a “peaceful resolution” after ethnic tensions flared at Technical High School last week. Members of the task force could meet with Superintendent Willie Jett as early as Wednesday.

Abdul Kulane, a Somali community leader and former City Council candidate, said at least 200 community members gathered Saturday at St. Cloud Public Library and chose people from different segments of the Somali population who intend to talk about what they see as a pattern of bullying and discrimination at the school. The task force includes parents of Tech students, community elders and other leaders, and two Tech students.

“We wanted the full community to be represented,” Kulane said. “We want people to put their heads together and have a meaningful dialogue. It’s not going to work if it’s just the students, or just the parents.”

Members of the task force met Monday to solidify an agenda before meeting with officials.

District spokeswoman Tami DeLand said Jett is planning to meet with members of the task force this week. DeLand said Jett met with Somali community elders Saturday.

“All of these meetings are intended to be problem-solving,” DeLand said. “The superintendent’s agenda is to make sure that our mission is carried out at Tech High School and all our schools, and that all students feel welcome.”

Separately, representatives from the Council on American-Islamic Relations met Monday evening with Tech students and community leaders after being contacted by them last week, said CAIR Executive Director Jaylani Hussein.

As a civil rights organization, Hussein said it is supporting community efforts and will work with all parties to settle any cases in the short term. Most of that happens through negotiations and conversations, he said.

“Dialogue is when real solutions happen,” he said. “Especially issues like this require dialogue. Right now, we support the community’s efforts … and are working hand in hand.”

They discussed specific issues the students had been reporting to the media. Hussein said they also discussed some of the steps the district was supposed to take as part of its lawsuit settlement with CAIR in 2011.

There is more, read it all.

To be honest, I would be pulling my kids out of any of these schools with this kind of conflict!
