Swedish Somalis on trial in New York, suicide bombings are a forgivable sin…

Since we just posted about “welcoming” Sweden it seems like a good time to mention a couple of the charming new Swedes they are exporting!

From the New York Daily News (hat tip: crime investigator extraordinaire, ‘Pungentpeppers,’ who always finds the juiciest news!):

A reputed terrorist facing trial in Brooklyn likened killing innocent civilians in suicide bomb attacks to a “forgivable sin comparable to masturbation,” authorities disclosed.

Federal prosecutors opened a window into the twisted mind of al-Shabaab goon Ali Yasin Ahmed in papers filed in Brooklyn Federal Court, where he is charged with co-defendants Madhi Hashi and Mohammed Yusuf with providing material support to the Somalia-based militant group, which has merged with al Qaeda to wreak havoc throughout the world. [The implication here is that Ahmed is twisted but in fact his thinking is right in line with Islamic teaching—ed]

Conversations between Ahmed and Yusuf, who are Swedish citizens, were intercepted in November 2008. Yusuf is heard voicing doubts about traveling to Somalia to join al-Shabaab in light of a series of suicide bombing attacks in Africa targeting buildings operated by the United Nations and the Somali government that killed 26 people, according to court documents.

But Ahmed puts his comrade’s jitters to rest, according to the court papers. “Ahmed minimized the significance of suicide bombings against civilian targets and suggested that if such attacks were in fact a sin, they were an immaterial, forgivable sin comparable to masturbation,” Assistant U.S. Attorneys Shreve Ariail, Seth DuCharme and Richard Tucker wrote.

The three defendants joined al-Shabaab and served under the command of Arabi-American Jehad Mostafa, a San Diego native who made the FBI’s list of most wanted terrorists. Hashi, 25, was allegedly a member of a suicide bombing unit. Ahmed 29, and Yusuf, 31, allegedly received military training. [San Diego is an important Muslim refugee resettlement city***—ed]

If Yusuf once had second thoughts about becoming a foreign fighter, they were gone by 2010 when he starred in an al-Shabaab propaganda video called “Inspire the Believers” that sought to recruit jihadists, and also allegedly threatened to behead Danish cartoonist Lars Vilks for mocking the Prophet Mohammad, the feds stated.

Defense lawyers are seeking to dismiss the indictment, contending there is no basis to prosecute the trio in the U.S.

I don’t see anything about how the two charmers Sweden sent out into the world came into our custody, so if anyone sees more, please send a comment to this post and update us all.

*** By the way, back in 2008 and 2009 we learned that some of the Somali “missing youths” who were traveling out of the US were in fact driving to San Diego and from there crossing into Mexico en route to Somalia and Jihad training with Al Shabaab. Don’t have time this morning to search for those links.

Sweden: Muslim immigrant gangs control no-go zones

This is not new news for readers of RRW. This is the inevitable result of Sweden swinging wide its gates to Muslim phony asylum seekers for years and more proof for my contention that Sweden will be the first European country to fall in the ‘Invasion of Europe.’

OMG! Can you imagine the day when Muslim gangs torch cars in America!

The situation in the gang-controlled no-go zones of Sweden is deteriorating rapidly. Following the police report conceding the areas to the primarily Muslim immigrant gangs, the Swedish ambulance union is now demanding military grade protection gear to enter the no-go zones.

There have been a number of violent incidents lately, where thugs attack ambulances responding to calls in the zones. Thugs have slashed the tires of the ambulances, smashed their windshields and hurled large rocks from overpasses, while the paramedics themselves are subjected to both armed and unarmed physical violence on a regular basis. The situation has become so dire that the ambulance union now demands dramatically improved protection for its members.

Hate crimes are one-directional!

White citizens are haters, but immigrants can never be racists and perpetrators of hate crimes (actually come to think of it, during his tenure at the Justice Department, US Attorney General Eric Holder has been trying to get that concept into American law too!):

Ethnic Swedes are also being attacked. Local celebrity Linda Edenström’s 12-year old son was savagely beaten. In October, he took the subway after school to give a birthday present to a girl in his class. He was unaware she lived in a no-go zone, and when he exited the station he was promptly stopped by seven grown immigrants. They declared that no whites were allowed and proceeded to attack him while hurling anti-white slurs.

Swedish law states that the incident is not a hate crime. The law does not apply to an immigrant targeting a native Swede, even if an immigrant does so while explicitly stating they are doing it for racial reasons. However, the reverse situation with a native Swede saying a slur that could be perceived as racist has severe civil and criminal charges.

Dead Somali ISIS fighter had ties to Lewiston, Maine

The Lewiston Sun Journal has a long interview with one of the wives of a Jihadist killed while fighting for ISIS. He had two children with her.

This should be no surprise to anyone, but the interview gives us a little more understanding of the Somali community and the back and forth going on between Somali headquarters in Minneapolis and other cities with large Somali refugee populations.

By the way, this wife, who is not identified, arrived in Lewiston in the early waves of Somalis who moved to Maine when they didn’t like their first refugee resettlement site in Atlanta, GA (See our 2009 post about Maine as a welfare magnet).

“Amaani” describes it as feeling like she can’t swallow, as sudden and horrifying as a tornado, like a psychological bruise. And so unexpected.

Growing up, Abdifatah Ahmed had been the brother of her childhood best friend. He was kind, fun. They married in 2010. He eventually moved into her Bartlett Street apartment in Lewiston, then bounced between Minnesota and Maine. It took two years before the marriage imploded.

He wanted a second wife. She didn’t. [Note that they are talking about have more than one wife at a time as if this is perfectly legal in America!—ed]

A week after their divorce last fall, she would later find out, he left the country.

Ahmed traveled to Syria and joined ISIS, the radical Islamic group that has beheaded three Western journalists, carried out other public executions and killed thousands in taking over large areas of Iraq. According to news reports, Ahmed died fighting there last month with another Minnesota man.

Amaani said the FBI has visited her three times.

Central African Republic: Get ready for it, new wave of refugees thanks to Muslims taking power

Meanwhile, UN Ambassador Samantha Power begs the Muslim leader of the largely Christian country to play nice!

New York — Washington’s United Nations envoy called the Central African Republic’s interim President Michel Djotodia on Sunday to express “deep concern” over the rising tide of violence in the country.

Ambassador Samantha Power urged Djotodia to “ensure the arrest of perpetrators of recent atrocities,” urging him to denounce violence and call for an immediate return to law and order, her office said.

Power also asked Djotodia to “use his influence to reduce inter-religious tensions and protect civilians” and to give “full support” to French and African Union forces that are deploying to the Central African Republic.

Hundreds have died in a fresh outbreak of bloodshed in the Central African Republic, which has been in turmoil since a coalition of Muslim fighters led by Djotodia known as the Seleka overthrew the country’s leader Francois Bozize in March.

Djotodia became interim president following Bozize’s ouster, making him the first Muslim leader of the mostly Christian country.

Reports have described a series of horrors, with security forces and militia gangs razing villages, carrying out public killings and perpetrating widespread rapes.

So, just looking at the official photo of Samantha Power, one knows Muslim leader Djotodia doesn’t take her seriously.

Swedish Leftist in Somalia escapes kidnapping attempt; is wounded

Ann-Margarethe Livh and Abdirahim Hassan members of the Swedish Left Party. Livh was injured and flown out of the country, Hassan reportedly died in the attack.

I don’t know how I missed this story from late last week. Longtime readers know that we have a keen interest in Sweden and its socialist experiment with large, and ever-growing numbers of needy refugees and asylum seekers allowed into the country.

Somali gunmen tried to kidnap a Swedish opposition politician in an ambush in which she and another woman were wounded and two men were killed, police said.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility. However, al Qaeda-linked al Shabaab militants have kept up guerrilla-style attacks and kidnappings in the city despite being largely pushed out by Somali and African forces two years ago.

Witnesses said Ann-Margarethe Livh, an opposition Left Party city councilor in Stockholm, was returning to her hotel after giving a speech at the University of Somalia when the gunmen struck near the Turkish embassy, Reuters reports.

Student Ahmed Dek said she flung open the rear door of the car and ran under a hail of bullets towards the university. She was bleeding badly from her left side, he said.

Police said an officer guarding her and a man said to be her translator were killed. A Somali woman from Sweden was also wounded, they said.

Livh is the most prominent Left Party politician in Stockholm. A party spokeswoman told Sweden’s TT news agency the group was in Mogadishu “in connection with an international project within the work of the Left Party”.

Here is another report on the terrorist attack which identifies one of the dead men as also a member of the Left Party. According to Wikipedia the Swedish Left Party is a socialist and feminist party.

Local journalist Hamza Mohamed told The Local on the phone from Mogadishu that Livh was injured near the University of Somalia, where staff confirmed she had given a guest lecture.

“She was leaving the premises and was fifteen steps outside the university compound when men in a tinted (window) car opened fire,” he said.

Local Stockholm newspaper Norra Sidan also reported on Wednesday that Abdirahim Hassan had died in Somalia. His family confirmed the death. Hassan was a member of Sweden’s Left Party, which referred all questions to the foreign ministry when contacted by The Local.
