It has got to stop! There is no reason that we are admitting thousands of Somalis to the US every month when their country is safe enough for newly elected Minnesota legislator, Ilhan Omar, to go HOME for a visit! Maybe it is time for Omar to stay at HOME and help Somalia! LEGITIMATE refugees claim that they fear to go home because they they will be persecuted! What a joke!
I’ve just been telling readers in my two previous posts (here and here) that we have admitted over 100,000 Somalis to the US since Black Hawk Down (over the last two plus decades) and they are coming in now at the highest rate ever!
Why aren’t they going to Somalia to rebuild their own country?
Somalia welcomed newly elected American legislator Ilhan Omar home to Mogadishu on Tuesday, where she met with President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.
The Somali American left as a child and lived for years in the Dadaab refugee camp in Kenya before moving to the United States in 1997. She is the first Somali-American woman to become a lawmaker in the U.S., where she will serve as a Minnesota state representative.
Omar lives in the city of Minneapolis, which is home to the greatest concentration of Somali immigrants in the United States. Minneapolis-St. Paul also has a large Oromo population, among significant communities coming from Ethiopia, Kenya and other nations. Omar, serving as Director of Policy Initiatives at Women Organizing Women, has a long history of public service and other achievements within the community.
She praised Somalia for its embrace of women in leadership roles during her meeting, specifically noting the 30 percent benchmark for female members in the country’s new parliament.
“Women can lead Somalia,” Omar told Radio Dalsan. “Somalia is moving ahead.”

In my nearly ten years of writing RRW, I don’t think I have been so angry as I am at this moment. Obama and his Department of State are committing treason in my view with this huge flood of Somali fake refugees they are ‘welcoming’ to the US just as they walk out the door!

We gave you some numbers yesterday for Somali resettlement in the waning weeks of the Obama Administration and the numbers are astronomical. Two decades have passed since the deadly Black Hawk Down incident at the end of the G.H.W Bush Administration and what do we get, over 100,000 Somalis*** seeded throughout America (with no end in sight!) because they are incapable of governing their own ____ country! At what point does our responsibility end? In fact, when did it start?
Why is Somalia our problem more than 25 years since the civil war there and 23 years since, as part of a United Nations mission, we lost 18 of our finest men in the infamousBattle of Mogadishu‘Black Hawk Down’ attack. Why must American cities and towns be roiled decades later because the Somali people can’t govern their own country? And, once the Syrian flow has begun in earnest, what makes you think it will ever stop?
Yesterday, World Net Dailyreporter Paul Bremmer asks the same question. And, frankly, as we ramp up the Syrian resettlement, if Donald Trump doesn’t come through for those millions of voters who want to see the program curtailed especially from terror producing regions of the world, then we are in for another quarter of a century admitting Syrians along with the Somalis!

While many Americans worry about the influx of Syrians, the U.S. has taken in even more refugees from Somalia this year. Through the first 11 weeks of FY 2017, the U.S. resettled 3,269 Somali refugees. At this rate, the country would absorb more than 15,550 by fiscal year’s end. At this point in FY 2016, the U.S. had only admitted 1,721 Somali refugees on its way to taking in 9,020 for the year.
More than 99.9 percent of the Somalis admitted this fiscal year are Muslims, as was the case in FY 2016 as well.
Hohmann noted Somali refugees are probably an even bigger risk than Syrians, as Somalis have committed several terrorist attacks on U.S. soil recently.
“There’s been no debate in Congress or the media asking the obvious questions: Why is America still taking thousands of refugees every year from Somalia more than 25 years after that country’s civil war broke out?” Hohmann asked. “How many is too many, and why aren’t the Somalis doing a better job of assimilating? Dozens have gone off to fight for overseas terror organizations while even more have been charged, tried and convicted here at home of providing material support to overseas terrorists.”
At the end of this informative article is a slight change of subject worth highlighting. New low income housing in your town=you will get refugees!
Hohmann said while he can’t prove the State Department and the federal contractors have targeted red states over blue ones, it wouldn’t surprise him. But he warned that the availability of housing is the biggest factor in determining the placement of refugees.
“They are bringing the refugees in so fast right now that it’s difficult to find places to house them,” he revealed.“I’ve been hearing stories from my sources that some are being secretly housed in Muslim-owned hotels and being held there until openings can be found in local apartment complexes. Housing is always the key for this program. That’s why I often tell people to be wary of government-subsidized housing projects being built in your city because this is often a precursor to refugee resettlement, especially if you have a liberal mayor at the helm of your city.”
If you have been a loyal follower of Ben Carson and want to help fight this fight, you should try to reach him and tell him to scrap Obama’s ‘Affirmatively furthering fair housing’ initiative which funds housing projects in largely white communities where politicians promise diversity will be injected into the community.

***See my accounting that began in 2008 of the Somali resettlement each year and note two things: The big influx began with Bill Clinton’s first year in office (1994), but up until this year (FY17), the greatest rates of admission of Somalis came in the George W. Bush Administration.
I don’t know how good this source is—Mogadishu Center for Research and Studies—but they are reporting this morning that our government is preparing to deport Somalis presently in US detention back to Somalia.

Mogadishu (MCRS) 01 June 2016 – The United States government is planning to send back several Somali immigrants, who entered the country illegally, back to their home country, a Somali official said Monday.
The move is seen as an attempt to deter the influx of illegal immigrants arriving in the United States, which rarely expels illegal immigrants from war-torn countries back to their countries.
Ahmed Isse Awad, Somalia’s Ambassador to Washington told Media that the new deportation operation by the immigration enforcement agency would affect Somali immigrants, mostly young men in US jails:“I don’t know their official number, but I have asked the US government to give me the chance to meet them.”
The development comes amid concerns by European countries that are struggling to cope with immigrants fleeing conflict and poverty in Middle East and Africa.
EU countries have received the highest numbers of illegal migrants in recent years. According to immigration authorities, hundreds of illegal Somali immigrants are smuggled across the US-Mexico border every year, with many of them getting arrested at border checkpoints.
If I can read between the lines, it seems that the Somali government may not want them back.
By the way, if Somalis are re-building Somalia (heck they even have an ambassador in Washington) why are we still taking into the US 700-800 Somalis a month? Maybe they should be helping to re-build Somalia!
And, by the way, since we have this huge legal pathway open for Somalis to come here anyway, you know that the ones sneaking across our border have got to be some bad apples….with a lot of money to hire smugglers!
See this story about investigations underway in Seattle where Somalis are carrying American dollars back to Africa (which is legal, but questionable under the circumstances described in the story from King 5). Are these your tax dollars flying from Sea-Tac to Somalia?
Here is the first question that popped into my head when I read this story: So, if Somalis can travel back and forth to Somalia safely (carrying suitcases stuffed with American dollars that will be lost to the US economy), then doesn’t that mean that Somalia is safe enough and we no longer need to be resettling Somalis at the rate of 750 a month into your towns and cities! Travelers pulling suitcases full of cash started showing up at Sea-Tac Airport last year holding tickets for flights headed out of the United States.
Transporting large amounts of cash overseas isn’t illegal. But it was who was carrying the money … and where it was going that caught the attention of security officials.

The people carrying the cash didn’t hide the fact from Customs. Just the opposite, they reported it. Anyone traveling out of the United States is required to declare any amount over $10,000 and fill out a one-page federal form.
These reports are what caught the attention of terrorism investigators in Seattle.
“The thing was the amount, the staggering amount,” said Glenn Kerns, who was assigned to the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) at the time.
The couriers were working for Seattle-area hawalas – businesses that derive their name from the Arabic word for “transfer.” Hawalas are part of a traditional system of informal banking in Muslim communities.

Kerns said the first cash shipment rolled through Sea-Tac early last year. A man carrying $750,000 in cash told Customs officials he was transporting the money overseas. Over the next several months, couriers carrying as much as $2 million boarded commercial flights at Sea-Tac.
“One hawala – Seattle hawala – sent out $20 million last year,” said Kerns.

Kerns was a Seattle police officer who retired last December after serving 14 years on the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force.
He uncovered something suspicious when he analyzed financial records that the hawalas are required file with the Washington Department of Financial Institutions.
He researched the names of the ten clients who transferred the most money through hawalas last year.
“All ten of them were on welfare benefits. DSHS benefits,” said Kerns. “It’s fraud. Straight up fraud – every one of them.”
This story from Sweden highlights a question we have too? Demonstrating what a sham the refugee program is throughout the world! Somalis want to travel back and forth between Sweden and Somalia. So how persecuted were they in the first place? If Somalis are so fearful of persecution in Somalia that they expect refugee status in first world countries, why are they traveling back there (to their supposedly dangerous homeland) for business and pleasure?
Heck, Somalis in America are doing it too! We have a Somali woman in Minnesota running for the presidencyof Somalia, and we have the UN sending Somalis out of UN campsand back home to Somalia, so why should any western country need to take in one more Somali to partake of welfare generosity in places like Sweden and the US?
Here is the news from Speisa.com where we learn that Sweden has at least 50,000 Somalis living in the country (hat tip: Joanne):
Mohamed Husein came to Sweden from Somalia in 2009, along with his wife who claimed she was attacked by terrorists in their homeland.
Mohamed is now unhappy that he can not fill in an application for Swedish citizenship yet. He is eager to able to travel back to the country he claims to have fled, where his life supposedly is in danger – to visit his mother and establish business contacts.
– I can not travel outside the EU and I can not visit my mother in Somalia, says Mohamed.
He explains that with a Swedish citizenship, he would be able to develop an export and import company.

To most readers the obvious obvious question should be – why should Mohamed be given Swedish citizenship in two years if he believes that he can travel back to Somalia now?
And Mohamed is not unique. Approximately 9 out of 10 who are granted asylum in Sweden do not meet the conventional criteria to be classified as refugees.
Many regularly travel back to the country they claim to have fled.
Last year about 1000 Somalis were stranded in Mogadishu, after their tour operator, Fly Olympic, suddenly went bankrupt when they were on holiday in Somalia, from Sweden.
