St. Cloud professor Luke Tripp is professional agitator on behalf of Somali refugees

Five years ago next month we wrote about Luke Tripp and now we see he is still busy agitating and creating tension in the latest incident in St. Cloud involving a high school and Somalis demonstrating and claiming they are being mistreated in the school system because of their race.

Community organizer Luke Tripp helps stir up trouble in St. Cloud. Photo: http://www.kvsc.org/podcast_item.php?id=96

Tripp is doing what Obama did (still does!) what Saul Alinsky taught—stirring up animosity to bring about “change.”

Did you ever wonder how it is that the Somali refugees are so good at creating tension—it is because of people like Luke Tripp mentoring them and keeping them in line.  And, making sure the problems are never their fault for not trying to fit into American communities.  It is always ‘whitey’s’ fault.

But, let’s be clear, some of the tension in Somali overloaded cities is between US-born African Americans and Somalis and Tripp is not telling you that!

Here is what I said about him FIVE YEARS AGO:

Luke Tripp and Mahmoud Mohamed are community agitators.  What is happening in St. Cloud, MN now and for the last few years is a perfect example of Saul Alinsky’s (Rules for Radicals) strategy being put into motion to bring about “change” through creating crisis in communities.  It is no coincidence that one of the most outspoken conservative critics of the king of community organizers (Barack Obama) happens to be the Representative for this Congressional district which includes St. Cloud—Michele Bachmann.   Tripp is a race baiter and he is using the recent Somali unrest to get Michele Bachmann.

An aside:  Readers, especially conservative readers, should study Saul Alinsky.  Much of the reason that we are continually caught off guard by the ‘crisis creates change’ strategy is that we don’t think that way.  We generally think that to solve problems and conflicts one should try very hard to work together in a quiet and dignified way.  Not so for community organizers and union agitators—they must continually create chaos to move the so-called “community” to their far Left view of governance.

Please read it all and see how Tripp inflamed the situation then and is doing it again now!

From St. Cloud Times (‘Institutional Racism Plagues St. Cloud Schools’) where Tripp is making sure that anyone who opposes more Somali resettlement because the city can’t afford it, or because there is simply too great a cultural divide, is a racist.  That is what race baiters do!  Just a few snips:

Somalis are under attack in St. Cloud because of their race, their religion and their immigration/refugee status. With the recent influx of many Somali students, the St. Cloud public schools are facing a clash of cultures.

[….]

The Somali community continues to suffer numerous attacks at various levels and in all areas of social life, including schools, stores, workplaces, housing and the media.

[….]

The basic issue Somali students and the Somali community are calling attention to is the systemic and continuous failure of the district’s administration and board to seriously address the toxic anti-Somali climate and institutional racism – racial patterns that result from policies, rules and prejudice.

There are administrators and staff members and some board members who still do not seem to grasp the significance of the social transformation of their school system, as demonstrated by the recurring conflicts between Somali and non-Somali students and the high suspension rate of black students.   [Ha! I think they grasp it just fine and don’t want to transform their school system!—ed]

[….]

Instead of denying that systemic racial problems exist, the board and administrators must act on the legitimate grievances of the Somali community and develop a strategic plan based on genuine diversity and social justice, and dedicated to systemically advocating, building and maintaining respectful, collaborative and reciprocal relationships.

So, where is Tripp’s op-ed telling the Somalis they must adjust (assimilate!) and build respectful and reciprocal relationships with Americans?

Remember!  Besides Tripp the other big player responsible for conflicts in St. Cloud is Lutheran Social Service head honcho, Jodi Harpstead who brings in the new Somali population each year at the behest of the US State Department/UN.

St. Cloud propaganda program: Why you should hire a Somali, or is it really, why you shouldn’t!

Just as the chaos was coming to a head at Tech High School in St. Cloud over the last ten days or so, a couple of employment specialists held a seminar on hiring St. Cloud Somalis (they are more mature we are told).

As you read this see if you react the way I did!  Note in this politically correct “news” story at the St. Cloud Times it is all about how YOU must adjust to Somalis and their Islamic ‘faith’ and nothing about how Somalis must learn to live in America and assimilate!   (Go back and look at that Christian Science Monitor article from Kenya I just posted where all the compromise must come from the infidel side and none from the Muslim side of the supposed goal of “coexisting.”)

Kathy doesn’t get it as she promotes the quiet jihad. Stearns-Benton Employment and Training Council Director Kathy Zavala gave tips on how to interact with Somalis. How about the tips for Somalis on how to interact with Americans? Photo: http://www.ifound.org/initiative-quarterly/whos-hiring-who/jump-start/

The St. Cloud Times reporter, Vicki Ikeogu, apparently doesn’t see what I see!

Members of the St. Cloud business community had the opportunity to learn about Somali culture and workforce at Thursday’s East African Presentation and Job Fair.

The two-hour joint presentation by Language Bank Operations Manager Abdul Kulane and Stearns-Benton Employment and Training Council Director Kathy Zavala provided employers with basic knowledge about Somali people and tips on how to interact with this growing population.

What the heck does this mean?  Somalis will help “connect us to the world economy?”

You know they say this stuff as if they are dispensing words of wisdom?  What world economy?  Do they mean Somalis send the money they receive from America out of the country and to Somalia as remittances?  How does that help Americans?

“The bottom line opportunity is immigrants are financial contributors, entrepreneurs, workers and consumers and help connect us to the world economy,” Zavala said.

Zavala said approximately 6 percent of people living in St. Cloud are foreign born, with over 25 percent of foreign-born citizens coming from Africa. [So what is the unemployment rate among the foreign-born in St. Cloud and the American-born in St. Cloud?  I’d like to know!—ed]

“If you look at the demographics, we need to understand where our workforce is coming from and how they can contribute to our economy in order to sustain our community,” Zavala said.  [We can’t do it without Somalis?—ed]

This section should have a subheading:  Why you shouldn’t hire a Somali Muslim!

They don’t want anyone looking over their shoulder as they work:

Kulane said for many Somalis, being entrusted with a job has a religious connotation as well. According to social norms, some Somalis do not like someone watching over their shoulder, he said. In Somali culture, it signals a lack of confidence in their abilities.

The women won’t be making eye contact or shaking your hand:

Cultural interactions such as eye contact and handshaking were also discussed.

Religion is most important to them and they will want special break times during work to practice their ‘religion’ (get used to it!).  And, there is a special way you must communicate with these special people:

A brief introduction to Islam was provided, allowing for employers to learn about the importance of prayer and fasting to many Somali people. There were tips for starting a conversation with the Somali workers on these topics.

Just imagine the hell that would break loose if there were job seminars like this one and employers were told how to converse with Catholics and Jews about their religion on the job!

See our extensive St. Cloud archive here.  Thank the Lutherans!

And one more thing!  Did you see this short news story about a 19-year-old Somali high school student who threatened to attack a Tech High security guard in an incident unrelated (we are told) to the demonstration that happened the same day!

A St. Cloud man was arrested Wednesday afternoon at St. Cloud Technical High School after he pushed and threatened to assault a school security employee, according to St. Cloud Police.

Police officers were called to the school at 1:52 p.m. after a report that Redwan Mahamed Shire, 19, had become disorderly, authorities said. Police say the incident does not appear to be related to a protest that was going on at the same time outside the school.

Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota is responsible for the Somali chaos in St. Cloud

If you are angry (about the tension in St. Cloud) and want one entity to blame, it is Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota, the primary federal refugee resettlement agency working in St. Cloud!

That supposedly ‘Christian’ charitable organization is directly responsible for the high Somali numbers in St. Cloud, and they are jointly responsible for bringing over ten thousand Somalis from around the world to colonize Minnesota towns in the last ten years alone—Catholic Charities and World Relief MN (now Arrive Ministries)*** helped also.  Of course they have brought many more than 10,000 in over two decades and not just Somali Muslims!

Rumor has it that 1,500 new Somalis are going to be resettled by the Lutherans in St. Cloud this year.  (This is part of former Rep. Michele Bachmann’s district!)

Doing well by doing good? Jodi Harpstead is making over $300,000 a year to seed St. Cloud and other Minnesota towns with Somali Muslims.

These three ‘Christian’ phony non-profits (phony Christians!) could stop the US State Department’s further seeding of the state if they just said NO!  We won’t resettle any more Muslim ‘refugees.’   But they don’t!  Why?

Why? Because it is big business (as we learned from Lutherans in New England)!  They dare not challenge their sugar daddy—the federal government!  And, they must be afraid of the growing power of the Islamists and the Islamist front group—Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR)—which they are responsible for unleashing on the city of St. Cloud.

So how much money does it take to buy the Lutherans?

Back in 2013 we told you that then Minnesota Lutheran CEO, Mark Peterson, was pulling down a salary of $441,767.

We went to a recent audit linked on their website and here are some numbers we found (audit ending September 30, 2014):

They had total revenue of $103,135,439 and received $91,887,312 from GOVERNMENT FEES AND GRANTS.  (Go here and click on ‘financials’ to see for yourself).

That makes them 89% government funded!  That is a government agency not a charity, and surely not a ‘Christian’ charity!

The progressive ‘religious Left’ is living off of the US taxpayer!

Doing well by doing good?

Salaries and payroll accounted for $57,929,172 of your money—your tax dollars for that one year!

Jodi doesn’t pull down a salary as high as Peterson (LOL! War on women?) her predecessor did, but it is fairly substantial none-the-less as we learned from a recent Form 990.  She was compensated with $280,812 and an additional $42,495 came from related organizations (whatever that is!).

Her second in command, Kenneth Borle, made $202,087 and $33,192 (from related organizations).

They have 8 other employees making over six-figure salaries!

Go here for the others in leadership at Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota responsible for building the aggressive and demanding Muslim population of the state.

And if you are looking for more people to blame for what is happening to Minnesota, here is the Board of Directors (do you know any of them?):

No surprise! CAIR arrives in wake of St. Cloud Somali school protest

This is an update of our post from Sunday where we reported that Somali students claim they are being bullied because they are Somali Muslims.

One more reason your town should resist if a new refugee resettlement site is being planned!

You are watching the Hijra, the agitation phase of the Islamic migration, in real time!  Learn from it!

CAIR Minnesota Director Jaylani Hussein. CAIR had settled a lawsuit with this same school district in 2011. http://www.cairmn.com/about-us/cair-mn-staff.html

From the Saint Cloud Times:

Members of the St. Cloud Somali community have assembled a task force of around 15 people to meet with St. Cloud school district officials and seek a “peaceful resolution” after ethnic tensions flared at Technical High School last week. Members of the task force could meet with Superintendent Willie Jett as early as Wednesday.

Abdul Kulane, a Somali community leader and former City Council candidate, said at least 200 community members gathered Saturday at St. Cloud Public Library and chose people from different segments of the Somali population who intend to talk about what they see as a pattern of bullying and discrimination at the school. The task force includes parents of Tech students, community elders and other leaders, and two Tech students.

“We wanted the full community to be represented,” Kulane said. “We want people to put their heads together and have a meaningful dialogue. It’s not going to work if it’s just the students, or just the parents.”

Members of the task force met Monday to solidify an agenda before meeting with officials.

District spokeswoman Tami DeLand said Jett is planning to meet with members of the task force this week. DeLand said Jett met with Somali community elders Saturday.

“All of these meetings are intended to be problem-solving,” DeLand said. “The superintendent’s agenda is to make sure that our mission is carried out at Tech High School and all our schools, and that all students feel welcome.”

Separately, representatives from the Council on American-Islamic Relations met Monday evening with Tech students and community leaders after being contacted by them last week, said CAIR Executive Director Jaylani Hussein.

As a civil rights organization, Hussein said it is supporting community efforts and will work with all parties to settle any cases in the short term. Most of that happens through negotiations and conversations, he said.

“Dialogue is when real solutions happen,” he said. “Especially issues like this require dialogue. Right now, we support the community’s efforts … and are working hand in hand.”

They discussed specific issues the students had been reporting to the media. Hussein said they also discussed some of the steps the district was supposed to take as part of its lawsuit settlement with CAIR in 2011.

There is more, read it all.

To be honest, I would be pulling my kids out of any of these schools with this kind of conflict!

Tensions grow in Saint Cloud, MN as more Somalis move in with help of Lutherans

Update March 31st:  Leftwing community organizer and race baiter at work in St. Cloud, here.  His goal is to shut down any criticism of the Somali ‘community.’

Update March 30th:  I think the St. Cloud Times is helping with the propaganda campaign with this report on why Somalis make wonderful employees (not!).

Update March 26th:  More on who is to blame—Lutheran Social Service of Minnesotago here to see what you can do!

Update March 24th:  Now the agitation begins in earnest as CAIR arrives on the scene, here.

A few years ago Saint Cloud, MN was targeted as a new Somali resettlement site by the US State Department and its contractor there— Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota.

Originally the Somalis there were what the refugee industry calls “secondary migrants” who move in from other areas of the state or from another state—usually because they hear that an enclave of their kind of people is growing, sometimes for jobs, and sometimes for better welfare.

St. Cloud’s Somali population is now growing as Somalis are arriving directly from hot spots around the world.  (The direct resettlement by the Lutherans to St. Cloud began in around 2010.)

See how the US State Department and its contractors (Lutheran, Catholic and Evangelical contractors) have salted (seeded!) over 6o towns in Minnesota with Somalis in the last ten years!

So is it any surprise that diversity is not beautiful and tensions are building between Somali students and African American and white students in places like Tech High here this past Wedesday?

From St. Cloud Times (hat tip:  Joanne via Bare Naked Islam):

Ethinic tension inside Technical High School became public spectacle Wednesday on its south lawn as more than 100 students and parents, most of them Somali, protested what they described as a pattern of bullying and discrimination to which school officials have not adequately responded.

The protest started shortly before noon. Protesters, including students and parents, chanted slogans and waved posters.

Read all about it here.

We have resettled 3,944 Somalis to the US in the first five months of fiscal year 2015 alone!
