Welcoming America, the Leftwing community organizing group which the Office of Refugee Resettlement hired,here, with your money seems to be targeting the Midwest and especially Ohio (see Welcoming America targets Cleveland) with its propaganda about how refugees and immigrants will save the economy. On Thursday they held a pow-wow in Dayton reported in a post entitled, ‘Rust Belt Cities Embrace Immigrants as Key to Future.’ Agenda to Erase America: James Simpson goes into greater detail about Welcoming America in his recently published book.
I looked at all the information at their website, here, on the ‘Convening Dayton’ meeting and their ‘WE Global Network’ and realized I don’t have enough hours in the day to dissect it all and report on it. So, I was relieved to see that the new blog ‘Welcoming America Watch—Midwest‘ is on the case. See posthere. And don’t miss this one.
I sure wish one of those Washington, DC immigration control groups would do economic studies that counter this propaganda that immigrants and refugees will bring economic life back to impoverished cities.
I believe the No Borders advocates’ glowing numbers would prove to be bogus if smart economic minds added in the cost of welfare, the costs in local education budgets, health department budgets, the costs to taxpayers of the criminal justice system, and last but not least, the costs to the American economy of the remittance dollars that leave the country permanently. ‘Welcoming America Watch–Midwest’ is a prime example of the ‘resistance’ movement we discussed,here, yesterday where the blogger is a concerned citizen just like you and me!

I’m going to nag you—resistance fighters—to death! You must publish your local research. Any documents you find (or produce), any meetings of the opposition (or local government meetings) that you attend, any local news articles that must get out to a wider audience, must be posted preferably at a website or blog. Facebook is o.k. but your work can’t be easily retrieved a year from now.
You are investigative reporters and you must build your numbers by reaching and educating more Americans where you live. I love all the research that is going on around the country, but I can’t possibly process it all! Knowledge is power!
The other side (working on colonizing your towns and cities) does everything it can to keep what they are doing secret! They hate it when you know what they are up to! But, that knowledge has to go beyond just you, or it is wasted!
It’s been almost exactly two years since I first heard that the Office of Refugee Resettlement in the Dept. of Health and Human Services had hired a community organizing contractor (with your money!) to tamp down any “pockets of resistance” to the seeding of immigrants (legal and illegal) in your towns and cities.

We must do the work old fashioned investigative reporters used to do. And, we have to get our research out beyond our own circle of like-minded people.
Independent blogs like this one provide an opportunity for common folk to battle the corrupted mainstream media in a search for truth. We are searching, always searching…
I don’t know how many times I have to say it, but it does you no good to be a great reader of the news, or even a researcher and then send me e-mails (filled with links) that fill up my in-boxes! Remember it is just me here!

Leo Hohmann, writing at World Net Daily, has another in what is turning into a series on Obama’s plan to change America by changing the people.
Chris Farrell, Director of Research at Judicial Watch, characterizes it as “social engineering writ large.”
However, one of the revelations in this article entitled ‘Mayors join Obama’s ‘welcoming’ parade for immigrants’ is that the social engineering began long before Obama took office!

Hohmann begins his narrative with news from ‘Welcoming’ Atlanta:
For the millions of immigrants and refugees who might feel unwelcome in Georgia, Texas, Alabama and any other state not on board with President Obama’s plans to “build welcoming communities” for “new Americans,” Mayor Kasim Reed has a message: Come to Atlanta.

City spokeswoman Melissa Mullinax told WND that Reed began working with Welcoming America more than a year ago.
Welcoming America is headed by David Lubell, a close associate of President Obama who met with the president when he announced his executive amnesty plans in Nashville last November. Lubell’s group was hatched in 2010 with $150,000 in seed money from billionaire George Soros and is now flush with federal grants. According to city documents, Reed agreed on Sept. 17, 2014, to implement a list of 20 recommendations from the Welcoming Atlanta Working Group, an outgrowth of Lubell’s national Welcoming America. Number 10 on the list was to open “citizenship corners” at local libraries and to “conduct voter registration drives and outreach at City of Atlanta festivals.”
Changing Nashville, TN began in 2001 with a federal grant!
Hohmann continues:
A local activist who opposes new settlements of refugees in Tennessee and asked not to be identified, told WND the city has received thousands of Kurdish and Somali refugees over the past 15 years and most have not assimilated, living in “enclaves.”
“They call Nashville ‘Little Kurdistan,’” she said. “We have the largest Kurdish community in the U.S. thanks to refugee resettlement. They’re mostly Sunni, and most of the Islamic activism has come out of the Kurdish community here.”
Like the mayors in Chicago, Atlanta and L.A., Nashville Mayor Karl Dean has created a special high-level office, the New Americans Advisory Council, to advise him on how to integrate the growing population of foreign-born residents.
Planting seed communities in smaller cities
Nashville’s foray into the immigrant welcoming business began in earnest when it agreed to join a pilot program funded by a federal grant to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in 2001. Nashville joined Portland, Oregon, and Lowell, Massachusetts, as the three experimental testing grounds.
“The whole point of this grant if you look in retrospect what they were trying to do, is expand the resettlements outside of the traditional gateway cities of L.A., New York, Houston, Boston, Miami and Chicago and plant new seeds throughout the country,” the Nashville activist said.
“They roped in the Chamber of Commerce, which took this federal grant,” she added. “And one of the outgrowths of this twisted thinking is to very quickly get the refugees invested in local government and forming coalitions within their communities.”
For those of you conflicted about the humanitarian issues involved with refugees and immigrants, make no mistake, this is about money and power, straight up!
Most refugees (who don’t have an Islamic supremacist agenda) and refugees and immigrants (who aren’t looking for a handout of taxpayer-funded goodies)are pawns for the Chamber of Commerce, big businesses and progressives hungry for power. Is it all about money for the Republican elitists who turn a blind eye?
The timing of this story couldn’t be more stunning. Just as the Associated Press (yesterday!) was trying to make us feel all warm and “welcoming” toward the diverse ethnic groups the US State Department is dropping off in Texas, ‘Pungentpeppers’ spotted this news.

AMARILLO, TEXAS — The man accused of intentionally crashing into an east Amarillo bar early Monday morning has now been arrested, according to police.
Twenty-five-year-old Jaba Mohamed Abdi, police said, is also accused of trying to hit people with the vehicle.
Officers were called to the bar in the 6000-block of Amarillo Boulevard East just before 1 a.m. That’s near Eastern Street off the Boulevard.
An employee of the bar told police a man, later identified as being Abdi, tried to run him over before intentionally striking the building with the vehicle.
Police said Abdi had earlier been inside the bar but was asked to leave because he was reportedly being disruptive and was causing problems with other patrons. Abdi was escorted out of the bar but he managed to get back inside. At one point, police said, Abdi changed clothes so he could re-enter the bar.
Abdi was eventually escorted out of the bar again with employees standing guard to make sure he did not re-enter. One of the employees was watching Abdi as he got into a newer-model grey SUV. He, according to police, backed out of his parking spot and struck a concrete pillar in the parking lot.
Police said Abdi was then accused of revving the engine “as to intimidate the employee.” Abdi, police said, drove straight at the employee who was standing next to the exit doors. The employee pushed people of the way and dove out of the way of the vehicle, police said.
The vehicle crashed into the building and caused significant damage to the outside wall. Police said Abdi backed up and drove away.
As police were speaking with the bar employee, a vehicle matching the description of a grey SUV drove westbound in Amarillo Boulevard by the bar. Police stopped the vehicle, a grey Nissan Murano in the 5300-block of Amarillo Boulevard.
The man inside, Abdi, was detained as officers investigated. The Nissan had damage to its front end with red/maroon transfer paint on it. The pain matched the color of the damaged building, police said.
The employee identified the driver as being the one accused of driving into the building.
Abdi was taken to a local hospital to be treated for injuries. While at the hospital, police said Abdi became more disruptive and actively resisted officers who were placing him in a treatment room.
When the propagandists at ‘Welcoming America’ promote their reports about the economic boom times that refugees bring to clueless cities, I bet there is nothing in them about the cost involved with the criminal justice system!
