Refugee contractors putting the squeeze on Potus, you need to squeeze back

I know, I know, you are probably getting sick of hearing from me on the issue of the upcoming Presidential Determination on the number of refugees to be admitted to the US in Fiscal Year 2019 which begins on October first—less than 2 months from now.

But, I must keep talking about it because the Open Borders Left and especially the nine federal refugee resettlement contractors are lobbying day and night to pressure the Prez into going back to the levels they enjoyed during the Obama presidency.

They are in desperation mode!

In fact, if the levels don’t pick up for some of the nine contractors*** one or more could go belly-up financially in the coming year since they receive much of their federal boodle on a per refugee head basis.

Reader Joanne sent us this appeal from the International Institute of New England and I’m posting it here as a screenshot so you know what they are telling their groupies to do.  The International Institute is a subcontractor of the US Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (the same contractor I mentioned in my post from Bowling Green, KY the other day).

You need to take a few minutes and tell your elected officials what you believe should be done right now.

I’m not giving you a script as they do because any Congressional staff worth its salt will recognize an astro-turf campaign. They obviously don’t think their people are smart enough to write a few sentences on their own.

Tell your elected officials what you think (and the President too) in polite terms. In fact if you see them in person during the August recess, tell them in person!

I like the idea of putting the whole program on hold (there is NO legal requirement to take a single refugee) until Congress gets off the dime and reforms the entire US Refugee Admissions Program which includes getting the UN out of our refugee-selecting business!  But, please tell them what you think in your own words!

Here is what the contractors are telling their followers to do:

By the way, the cap is not a goal, it is merely a ceiling the administration can’t go over without consulting Congress, but the contractors want you to think it is a “goal.”

I know you probably think it’s a waste of time to tell members of Congress what you think, but please take a few minutes otherwise they will say they never heard a word from anyone looking to reduce numbers or reform the program.

And, of course, and more importantly, be sure to tell the President what you think he should do.

White House contact information is in the right hand column here at RRW.

*** These (below) are the nine federal resettlement contractors which are largely paid for their ‘humanitarian’ work by you, the US taxpayer.

As the numbers of incoming refugees decline so too does their income (they are paid by the refugee head!).  A continued reduction in the number of incoming refugees could cause one or more of these supposed non-profits to go under due to poor budgetary management—they never planned for a rainy day when federal bucks might dry up!

Another low year, perhaps lower than this year’s 20,000 plus year, could completely blow to smithereens the budget of one or more of these federal contractors which are demanding a cap of 75,000.

The number in parenthesis is the percentage of their income paid by you (the taxpayer) to place the refugees into your towns and cities and get them signed up for their services (aka welfare)!

From most recent accounting, here.
