EU officials: ISIS has been wiped out in Syria, time for refugees to go home

One of the most maddening things about our UN/US Refugee Admissions Program is that it is permanent.

When we take refugees they are here to stay and on track to citizenship even if their home country goes back to relative peace.

As we have watched Europe, particularly Germany ‘welcoming’ migrants, remember those flooding in to that country will have to seek asylum and wait for that legal process to work its will.  Until their asylum claims are adjudicated they have no right to permanent resettlement—our refugees do!

Angela Merkel, Hilary Clinton
Sure is a good thing we didn’t listen to Hillary who wanted 65.000 Syrians admitted to the US ASAP. Now will Mama Merkel move to send hers back?  https://refugeeresettlementwatch.org/2016/10/05/at-last-nights-vp-debate-hillarys-65000-syrian-refugees-came-up/

This is why we should not fall for every UN/Leftwing scare tactic and jump to admit refugees who in a year or two could go home—like the Syrians.

Here is the news from Germany that is not being widely broadcast!

European Union calls for return of Syrian refugees as the war against Islamic State draws to a close

Senior EU officials have started to call for Syrian refugees who fled the the ensuing violence and suffering from the war against Islamic State to be returned to their home country now that the war is over.

After recovering all strategic strongholds from IS, the Syrian Army on Wednesday claimed that it had won the war against the terrorist group.

This has prompted senior German officials to call on Chancellor Angela Merkel to open up communications with the Syrian government to facilitate the return of refugees who fled the war in Syria.

The right-wing Alternative for Deutschland (AFD) party say Angela Merkel and her new government should immediately strike up talks with Syria’s president Assad to start the ball rolling on a deal to repatriate migrants that had fled to Germany during the migrant crisis.

“This deal should ensure that the returnees will be accepted in Syria and accommodated only in safe areas,” the AFD said in a statement. They are also calling for the Syrian government to help pay for the cost of sending them all back.

The Green Party, which has been invited to help Merkel form a government, branded the politicians “irresponsible, inhumane and heartless”.

The Open Borders Leftists have their hearts set on a new refugee flood—watch for the rise of the Rohingya.  And, just behind those Muslims from Bangladesh/Burma look for the propaganda campaign for millions of climate refugees to be ‘welcomed’ to the west.

The climate refugees are a twofer for them—-they get to yak about global warming and refugees!

Most Aussies want immigration curtailed, 48% want Muslim ban

More than half surveyed said Australia felt like a foreign country!

And, the upshot of this news story is a warning that if the nationalists can mount a  countrywide political campaign they could become the power in Australia.

Rejecting the usual excuse that migrants stimulate economic growth, economics are not a major concern—loss of culture and quality of life is driving the worry.  (Hint! Although it isn’t politically correct, don’t be afraid to bring up those concerns!)

From Perth Now:

THREE quarters of Australians believe the country doesn’t need any more people and nearly half support a partial ban on Muslim immigrants.

Nauru refugees
For those of you wondering, there is no fresh news about the possibly 1,250 Australian rejected asylum seekers coming to America after the first 50 or so we reported here last month: https://refugeeresettlementwatch.org/2017/09/29/first-50-of-australias-failed-asylum-seekers-have-arrived-in-us/

An Australian Population Research Institute survey of more than 2000 people also found 54 per cent want a reduction in the annual migrant intake.

The independent organisation believes the results are driven by quality of life concerns and rapid changes in Australia’s ethnic and religious make-up.

“Australian voters’ concern about immigration levels and ethnic diversity does not derive from economic adversity,” academics Katharine Betts and Bob Birrell wrote in a report based on the survey.

“Rather, it stems from the increasingly obvious impact of population growth on their quality of life and the rapid change in Australia’s ethnic and religious make-up.”

[….]

… 74 per cent of those surveyed believe Australia is “already full”, with most pointing to roads congestion, hospitals capacity, affordable housing and fewer jobs as evidence.

Some 54 per cent want Australia to cut its annual immigrant intake of about 190,000 people and 48 per cent backed a partial ban on Muslim immigration.

[….]

The strongest support for the partial ban came from One Nation voters (89 per cent), with more than 50 per cent of Liberal voters agreeing and just over a third of Labor supporters.

“The willingness to take a tough, discriminating stance on Muslim immigration is not limited to a small minority, but extends to almost half of all voters,” the report said.

More than half of those surveyed feared Australia risked losing its culture and identity, with a similar number saying it had changed beyond recognition and sometimes “felt like a foreign country”.

Baton Rouge coffee shop to hire only refugee workers

What is it with coffee shops and their desire to selectively hire a certain class of people? Isn’t there a law against this sort of discrimination?

Earlier we learned about Starbucks’ hiring event in San Diego, now a little start-up coffee shop plans to open in Louisiana and hire refugees and political asylees .

What! no needy Americans looking for jobs in Baton Rouge?

What happens if some African American or (gasp) white citizen applies for a job? Will their application be rejected?

From the Greater Baton Rouge Business Report:

A new coffee shop that will hire and help refugees has leased a space in the Bayou Duplantier Shopping Center on Lee Drive, near the intersection of Highland Road, with plans to open in early 2018.

Light House Coffee has been in the works for nearly a year and is the brainchild of Amber and Steve Elworth. He is a minister at Chapel on the Campus. Until recently, she was an English instructor at Catholic Charities of Baton Rouge, which is an official refugee resettlement agency of the federal government.

Through her work at Catholic Charities, Amber Elworth came to realize the many challenges refugees and political asylees face as they try to become self sufficient, so she determined to establish a small business that will help them.

“I wanted to create a structure that will enable more people to get involved in helping refugees,” she says. “The needs are overwhelming and no one person can solve even one person’s needs.”

Light House Coffee will serve a variety of coffees and pastries as well as a few light meals. The cafe will hire refugees and asylees to work as baristas, servers and cashiers.

I don’t think Starbucks’ gimmick has won them many new customers, and if comments to RRW are any gauge, it has lost them a good number.

Australia deal: Come on America speak up as Breitbart and Ann Coulter are doing….

Just this morning I reread Nayla Rush’s indepth definitive report on the “deal” Obama set up and Trump is continuing that would bring as many as 1,250 illegal aliens held in detention (by Australia) on offshore islands to your town!

anne richard with UN seal
Rush reported that one of the architects of Obama’s dumb deal (now Trump’s dumb deal) was his Asst. Sec. of State Richard, formerly a VP at the International  Rescue Committee which had been contracted to do the initial screening of these men.

We reported the other day, here, that 50 are on the way to:

Georgia, Oregon, Colorado, Texas, and Arizona.

I want all of you to take a few minutes and read Rush’s report at the Center for Immigration Studies here.  You will see how truly screwed-up our refugee program has been and CONTINUES to be when you see the kinds of people we are admitting—-mostly single men, some held in detention for as long as 4 years, 80% of whom have been declared in need of serious mental health treatment, from countries like Iran, Somalia, and Afghanistan.

‘Extreme vetting?’

No way because instead of the 18-24 months the feds are always bragging about, their vetting was less than a year because the deal was announced only in September of 2016.  See one of our many posts where I reported that the on-again, off-again screening began in November and of course, in less than a year, here they come.

So, can we really expect these men to settle down to jobs in meatpacking towns, in apartments funded by you, collecting their welfare benefits and accessing your local mental health clinics on the way to becoming upstanding and contributing American citizens?

Here is Haaretz reporting on a Breitbart story and Ann Coulter’s response:

This Sunday, Breitbart, the publication run by former Trump adminitration chief strategist Steve Bannon, ran a “news report” which slammed President Trump for continuing an Obama-era deal for the U.S. to resettler Middle Eastern refugees held in Australia.

“The president has now broken two long-promised campaign pledges: Throwing out deals that don’t benefit Americans and stopping the flow of foreign refugees won’t benefit Americans and stopping the flow of foreign refugees,” wrote John Binder in Breitbart.

Haaretz continued….

Ann Coulter, who has been critical of Trump’s lack of follow through on his hardline immigration promises, joined in Breitbart’s anger, Facetiously joking on Twitter, “This never would have happened if Trump had been elected!!!”

Breitart and Coulter were incised [they must mean ‘incensed’—ed] by reports a second group of about 30 refugees held in Australian-run detention centres on South Pacific islands will leave soon for resettlement in the United States under a controversial refugee swap deal.

The first group of 22, including men from Bangladesh, Sudan and Rohingya Muslims from Myanmar, left one of the camps on Manus Island in Papua New Guinea on Sunday…

I have a very large archive on the”dumb” Australia deal. If you really want to understand the sheer stupidity of the arrangement, click here.

It is no longer Obama’s “dumb deal,” it is Trump’s!

And, I don’t care what the justification of this deal is. This is an abuse of refugee resettlement law and I maintain that Australia needs us more than we need them!

Contact the White House and your elected officials in Washington and tell them what you think.  If you are in one of the five targeted states (listed above) for ‘welcoming’ the Australian rejected asylum seekers, let your governor know what you think as well.

We want to go to Germany and make Muslim babies…

That is what Syrian ‘refugees’ told writer  on an island in Greece.  Asked why Greece wasn’t sufficient for the purpose, he was told that the Greeks don’t pay refugees as well as the Germans do…

“They [‘infidels’] are too easy to fool.”

(Afghan refugee on a Greek island)

From BESA Center (Hat tip: Robin). Emphasis below is mine):

….on a beautiful and cool summer evening, I met A. at a bar on the same island. A., a Syrian refugee, often spends his evenings bar-hopping with his western friends. Those friends are mostly romantic European social workers who, I observed several times, sport t-shirts, bags, and laptops festooned with the Palestinian flag. They are on the island to help the unfortunate Muslim refugees who are fleeing war in their native countries.

Syrian refugee men
Syrian refugee men. At another time in history they would be called invaders. In 2015 Trump wanted to know why they weren’t fighting for their own country. The answer is that they see the whole world as theirs.  Photo: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3326456/Trump-blasts-Syrian-refugees-look-like-soldiers-pledges-turn-away-president-says-certainly-implement-database-track-U-S-Muslims.html

“I’ll tell you strictly Muslim-to-Muslim,” A. said in good English after having poured down a few shots of whiskey. “These (European social workers) are funny guys. And they’re not just funny. They’re also silly. I don’t know why on earth they are in love with a Muslim cause that even some of us Muslims despise.”

Last year, three Afghans stopped in front of my house on the same island and asked for drinking water. I gave them three bottles and asked if they needed anything else. Coffee? They accepted and sat down in the garden chairs.

Over coffee, they said they were glad to be hosted “not by an infidel on this infidel island” but by a Muslim. The young Afghan who was dressed like a dancer from a cheap hip-hop clip on MTV said, “One day we good Muslims will conquer their infidel lands.” I asked why he was receiving “infidel” money for living. “It’s just halal,” he answered. “They [‘infidels’] are too easy to fool.”

M., another fluently English-speaking Syrian, gave me a long lecture on the wonderful governance of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. “Turkey is the best country in the world!” M. said. “ Erdoğan is the leader of the ummah.” I asked why he had risked his life to cross illegally from the “best country in the world” to the “poor, infidel lands.” “I want to go to Europe to increase the Muslim population there,” he said. “I want to make a Muslim family there. I want to have plenty of children.” I reminded him that Greece, too, is a European country. No it’s not, he answered.

Almost all the illegal migrants on that and other Greek islands want to get to Germany, where they have heard from friends and relatives that they will be the best paid for being “poor” refugees.

Paid well while making Muslim babies!
