Crooks, thieves and fraudsters: You will never be told their immigration status

I get questions almost daily from readers who would like statistics on immigrant criminals, specifically they want data on crimes committed by refugees, asylum seekers, unaccompanied alien children, other legals and illegals.  As far as I know, no such data is available to the public and I doubt it is being maintained by law enforcement either.

Only in extreme cases, like the murder of that poor Muslim girl in Virginia will anyone report immigration status and in that case, although local media reported the alleged killer’s status, most mainstream media did not.  Look, even the Washington Post (motto ‘Democracy dies in darkness’, no joke!) in this article called the alleged killer a “construction worker” without mentioning his illegal presence in the country.
So, although the media might name the perps, you are left to guess by their names how they might be here. Rarely ever do you hear about their immigration status.
This could be a great area for reform! The Trump Administration could go on the offense and send some legislative proposals to the Hill—require immigration status in arrest reports available to the public!

Let’s find out which avenues (legal and illegal) are available for criminals to enter the US.

What got me thinking about this today is this article from last month about convenience store fraud arrests.
Here is the story (’35 St. Louis-area convenience store owners indicted following federal raids‘)  (hat tip: Judy) and here (below) are the names of those indicted.
Wouldn’t you love to know which of our immigration programs ‘welcomed’ them to America!  If we knew which programs were responsible for the most crooks and criminals maybe we could eliminate that method of entry to the US!

VA Muslim murder case: "road rage" implies both sides were raging

Yesterday, I told you about the terrible murder of the Muslim teen girl in Virginia allegedly at the hands of one of the thousands of illegal alien Salvadoran men roaming American streets because Obama invited them in for the last 8 years.
The case does not involve refugees (I have no idea where the victim’s family is from, but the Left does want you to believe that the Salvadorans are all refugees).  It is the politics of the case and the media coverage, or lack of it (not mentioned at all yet that I know of in the mainstream media), is what makes the story one that I plan to follow.

Torres, an illegal alien from El Salvador is charged in the brutal murder of a Muslim teen. This would be a worldwide story if the alleged murderer was a white American.

My guess, as to why there isn’t any mainstream coverage, is that it puts the media Leftists in a very difficult place when one of their protected groups kills someone belonging to another of their allies.

Put simply, there is no Islamophobic Rightwing redneck American to blame here.

Update: Just as I am writing this, CNN has posted a story, but they do not mention Torres’ nationality or that he is here illegally!  Unbelievable! (Keep it up CNN—expose your bias!)

Now there are reports that the poor woman might not have been beaten unconscious where the “road rage” incident occurred, but might have been raped before being beaten to death by a Central American ‘dreamer.’

The police insist on calling the incident, not a “hate crime” but a “road rage” incident, however, we have yet to hear what was  said on both sides that caused the deadly escalation.
From Buzzfeed yesterday:

Police are investigating whether 17-year-old Nabra Hassanen — who was beaten, kidnapped, and killed near her Virginia mosque on Sunday — was also raped.

Authorities found the Muslim teen’s body in a pond in Loudoun County, Virginia, on Sunday afternoon, a few miles from where police said Darwin Martinez Torres, an undocumented immigrant, allegedly chased and attacked her and around 15 other teenagers after a road rage incident. Police said Torres got out of his car wielding a baseball bat, struck Hassanen, kidnapped her, and killed her, before dumping her body.

Autopsy results show Hassanen suffered from blunt force trauma to the upper body.

The Daily Beast first reported that the possibility of rape was under investigation, and that police had found a pair of woman’s underwear near Hassanen’s body. Investigators are awaiting vaginal swab test results.

Wright would not confirm those details to BuzzFeed News, but said that officers collected “several articles of evidence” from the scene.

After a late-night trip to McDonald’s, Hassanen and her friends were heading back to the mosque where they had been observing Ramadan early on Sunday when a man in a beat-up red car came up behind them.

One of Hassanen’s friends, who was on a bike, got into an argument with the driver, whom police identified as Torres.

Torres then drove his car over a curb, scattering the group of about 15 boys and girls, police said on Monday night. When they regrouped at the All Dallas Area Muslim Society Center in Sterling at around 4 a.m., they realized that Hassanen was missing.

Police in Fairfax, Virginia, found her body in a nearby pond around 3 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.

I’m waiting to hear what was said on both sides of the “road rage incident.”

They say that her death “appears to be the result of a road rage incident.”

Police stressed for the second time that there is no evidence to suggest that her murder was a hate crime, and “there was no indication of any racial slurs,” Fairfax County Police Lt. Bryan Holland said. However, Fairfax County Prosecutor Ray Morrogh indicated that it was still early in the investigation to make that call.

ICE said it has no record of Torres before his arrest, indicating that he never had any legal status in the US and that he entered the country illegally. If Torres had a pending application for legal status, ICE would have a record of it, an immigration official told BuzzFeed News.  [How many more like Torres are out there?—ed]

“It appears suspect became so enraged in this traffic argument it escalated into deadly violence,” Parker explained.

It is still unclear what happened between the time Hassanen was first attacked and the recovery of her body, Wright said.

Moral of the story:  You can’t continue to pour alien cultures in to the US at a rapid rate and expect the mythical melting pot to work magic.  Just isn’t possible!
Correction:  ABC did mention the story (see here) but, like CNN, did not mention Torres’ illegal status.

Mark Steyn tells Tucker Carlson: "I'm a demography bore"

That comment was in response to the latest (this time failed) terror attack in a Brussels train station yesterday.

He went on to say: “Demography explains most of everything.”

If you have never read it, you must. Steyn’s 2006 predictions are coming true.

Yes, agreed Carlson.
Steyn related his comment as  well to the close Georgia House race yesterday to explain that demographic changes in Georgia made it possible for a progressive to even think he had a chance to pull off an upset there.  (Georgia is a leading refugee resettlement state, btw).
Steyn told Carlson in a two minute portion of a longer segment that when your city (in this case Brussels) is 25% Muslim because your country has made the fatal mistake to think that you can replace an aging population with a hostile culture, the country will see increased tension and chaos.  In my view, it will ultimately collapse into an Islamic state.
Carlson asked about Japan, and Steyn told him that Japan has chosen to NOT invite in the third world, that saving their unique Japanese culture was more important to them.  Only time will tell if the Japanese (and the Poles, the Czechs and the Hungarians) can do it.
As I have said repeatedly, only one way to save western societies (and countries like Japan), in addition to limiting immigration, encourage our women to have babies—lots and lots of babies!

Terrible Virginia murder case goes against message of the leftist open borders propaganda

Diversity is supposed to be beautiful, right?  Immigrants who come to the great American melting pot are supposed to love and respect multiculturalism, right?  Unlike in Europe, we do everything to foster ‘assimilation’ of races, religions and cultures, right?
Well, here is a case that goes so far against the Left’s message that many predict it will disappear so fast you will think you imagined it …  This is not supposed to happen!
It is just run-of-the-mill road rage says Fox 5 headline:

Man charged with murder of Muslim teen; road rage appears to have led to killing, police say

HERNDON, Va. – A 22-year-old man has been charged with murder after police say he killed a 17-year-old Reston girl whose body was found in a pond hours after being reported missing during an early morning road rage incident in Virginia.

Illegal alien from El Salvador allegedly murdered Nabra Hassanen a Muslim teenager walking with a group from the ADAMS Center.

Fairfax County Police say the victim, Nabra Hassanen, was with a group of teenagers of about 15 people walking and riding their bikes along Dranesville Road from a McDonald’s restaurant at around 3:40 a.m. Sunday. The group got involved in a dispute with the driver of a vehicle after they attended an overnight event at the All Dulles Area Muslim Society (ADAMS) Center, a mosque located in Sterling and is one of the largest mosque in the country.

Police say a teenage boy got into an argument with the driver, identified as 22-year-old Darwin Martinez Torres.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement said in a statement regarding Torres [guess this means he was not a DACA darling?—ed]

“On June 19, ICE lodged a detainer on Darwin Martinez Torres, a citizen and national of El Salvador, with the Adult Detention Center in Fairfax, Virginia. ICE lodges detainers on aliens who have been arrested on local criminal charges when the agency has probable cause to believe an alien is removable from the United States. Mr. Martinez Torres has no prior encounters with ICE.”

On Monday afternoon, Fairfax County police say the killing appears to be the result of a road rage incident and they have no evidence that Hassanen was targeted.

“No evidence has been recovered that shows this was a hate crime,” said Fairfax County police spokesperson Julie Parker. “Nothing indicates that this was motivated by race or by religion.”

However, Mahmoud Hassanen, the victim’s father believes otherwise and says his daughter was targeted because she is Muslim.

Just a reminder readers that this is Virginia, a leading diversity-is-beautiful state if there ever was one! You can tell the authorities are working overtime to keep a lid on the story.
This is a story, not about refugees, but one about the idea that we can continue to pour immigrants (legally and illegally) of all sorts in to the US at such a rate that the tensions will inevitably build and become so disruptive to the social order that civil unrest is inevitable.

Two cases of refugees beating family members: no one told me it was against the law in the west

These two cases involving refugees, one in Canada (a Muslim) and one in the US (a ‘Christian’) tell the courts the same thing—no one told them it was against the law to beat your wife (in the first case) or your children (in the second case). They claim they come from cultures where  it is aok!
And, you know what! I believe them.  I believe that those responsible for placing refugees in far flung communities throughout North America are so steeped in political correctness (with their minds muddled by concepts of cultural relativism) that they leave their refugees (wives and children) vulnerable.

Here is the Canada story of Mohamed Rafia (One of Trudeau’s Syrian refugees who beat his wife, didn’t know it was against the law) cleverly reported by Ezra Levant at The Rebel:

At the court hearing, Rafia said officials didn’t inform him of differences in Canadian laws and more should have been done to educate him.

Yeah, how come you didn’t say it wasn’t OK to take a weapon and smash your wife again and again. How come you didn’t tell him that!

Our second case is going on in New Hampshire where a Congolese refugee woman has lost her children and could be deported if convicted of child abuse.

When you read the long story, note that the NPR reporter gives great details, but leaves out the first pressing question I had, and you will likely have too—which resettlement agency in Concord is responsible for this woman and her cultural orientation to America and American laws and values?

The Obama Administration told the UN (which is trying to clean out its camps) that we would take in 50,000 Congolese, mostly women (in need of mental health treatment) and children, over 5 years (from FY14-FY19). We have now ALREADY passed the 42,000 mark. 752 were placed in New Hampshire. Nine months ago, Joyce Chance left a refugee camp in Uganda where she had spent the last eleven years. Chance, who was born in Congo, boarded a plane with her two kids, and came to the United States.

A refugee resettlement agency [What, no name?—ed] in Concord, New Hampshire picked them up at the airport, and moved them into a one-room apartment. [One room for a family of three?—likely not allowed  under contract with DOS—ed]

Seven months later, the state of New Hampshire took Chance’s kids away. The kids’ teachers had suspected child abuse, and contacted the Department of Child and Family Services. DCYF placed the children – who are 9 and 12 – first with relatives, then later with a foster family.

The agency instructed Chance not to contact her children, and according to her attorney, she didn’t.

A month later, Concord Police arrested Chance, charging her with five counts of assault against her children. If she is convicted, she could be deported.

No one told her it was not okay to beat your children!

“The big issue here is the cultural differences,” she told me. According to Chance, corporal punishment is a common way to discipline children in Congo and Uganda. “When I [got] here,” Chance would later tell me through a translator, “Nobody [told] me it’s not okay to punish your children that way.”

To be clear, a guardian can use physical force against a minor when she reasonably believes it is necessary, according to New Hampshire statue. The state will likely argue Chance’s behavior was reckless and caused substantial pain, making it illegal.

And, for the curious, like me, the resettlement agency responsible for refugee resettlement in Concord is Ascentria Care Alliance formerly Lutheran Social Services of New England.  So, it is a subcontractor of Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service headquartered in Baltimore that did a lousy job of orienting this woman to American culture and laws! Not a surprise because frankly this is a business and they bring ’em in and move on to the next batch of paying ‘clients.’
