They aren’t just all poor Central American “children”

This news is not new to us, we have many posts written over the years about illegal aliens caught coming across the US border from countries that have spawned terrorists, who then seek asylum and often get it.  Earlier reports indicate that they travel great distances, some through Russia, then to Cuba and on to Central America and Mexico before reaching the US border—very expensive trips.

The first logical question we should ask is how in the hell did these supposedly poor “refugees” get all that much money?  Someone is paying for the invasion!

I’ve seen other maps like this one which depicts one route taken by Iraqis through Syria, to Russia, to Cuba and then on to Central America. These are not impoverished people making this journey! http://www.zindamagazine.com/html/archives/2007/09.17.07/index_mon.php

In January 2011, I suggested a Congressional investigation of who is helping them from the US end (the NGOs?), here, but I guess our dear leaders in Washington are too busy with other things to listen to me and others!—what could be more important than our safety and our sovereignty?  (LOL!  I was pretty laughably naive in that 2011 post!)

Breitbart:

MCALLEN, Texas—A single group of illegal aliens entering Texas from Mexico over the weekend included foreign nationals from Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka, according to the National Border Patrol Council (NBPC). The group crossed into the Rio Grande Valley sector from Tamaulipas, Mexico.

“One group of our agents apprehended individuals from Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka,” said Albert Spratte, a spokesman for Local 3307 of the NBPC. “Everyone in this group was an adult male. They entered on Saturday, July 26, 2014. Our agents apprehended them, they did not turn themselves in. They were trying to sneak in.”

[…..]

Breitbart News previously reported on foreign nationals coming from Asia, the Middle East, and terror-prone nations from the Horn of Africa—often entering Central America and utilizing the same pathways and smuggling networks as Central Americans and Mexicans who illegally enter the United States. That report was based on information from the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime. Spratte said, “Border Patrol agents in our sector have in the past apprehended aliens from Iraq, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Israel, and from many other nations. People think this is just about Mexico and Central America, but it isn’t. People from all over the world are trying to sneak into the United States.”

Read it all.

Bangladesh is filled with agitated Muslims especially the Rohingya people (we have 174 posts here on the Rohingya) and most of the Sri Lankans trying to get into first-world countries are associated with Tamil Tigers.

Clearly all these OTMs (other than Mexicans) see an opportunity right now with the border chaos Obama has created.

German court refuses to send Somali asylum seeker back to the Netherlands…

….says the Dutch are “inhumane” to Muslim ‘refugees.’

Invasion of Europe report!

Does anyone wonder why the Dutch don’t want him? http://www.libertarianrepublican.net/2010/12/12-somalis-arrested-in-netherlands-in.html

As we have told readers on many previous occasions, the European Union (in order to discourage asylum shopping) has a rule that says an asylum claim must be filed in the first country a would-be ‘refugee’ reaches in Europe.  If the migrant moves on to another country (looking for a better deal), he/she must be returned to that first country.

This is the story from Dutch News:

A German court has refused to send a Somali asylum seeker back to the Netherlands, saying he runs the risk of receiving ‘inhumane treatment’, the NRC said on Saturday.

The man had lost his appeal for asylum in the Netherlands and then went to Germany, the NRC said.

The authorities there wanted to return him under the Dublin agreement, which states refugee applications must be dealt with the EU country a refugee first sets foot in.

However, a court in Darmstadt refused to do so, saying that it is not certain that asylum seekers in the Netherlands are given basic provisions such as food and a place to stay.

Germany:  Netherlands bad!

The court said that in the Netherlands refugees are not allowed to work nor are they given government support. ‘Human values cannot be qualified by asylum policy,’ the NRC quoted the court as saying.

The paper says it is extremely rare for a EU country to use this reasoning to refuse to deport an asylum seeker to another European country.

Refugees are provided with food and shelter while their claim for asylum is being processed. However, if their claim fails and they refuse to go home, they can be evicted from refugee centres and left to fend for themselves.

My answer to Germany—-keep him yourself then!

Aunt Zeituni receives Muslim burial in Kenya

I guess you could call this a wrap-up to the controversial story of Barack Obama’s favorite aunt who lived illegally in the US on the fruits of the American taxpayer, and who, near the end of her life, was granted asylum so she could escape persecution and wouldn’t have to return to that evil Kenya (one of Africa’s few relatively safe and stable countries).   She is back in Kenya now.

Malik Obango (Barack’s half brother and best man) reported that Auntie was buried with her Muslim relatives. Photo: http://thecount.com/2013/03/07/president-obama-brother-loses-bid-for-political-office/

My original plan was to post this yesterday, Mothers Day, to tell you something I had never heard before—she had four children in Kenya and a man claiming to be her husband, so why the heck did she leave her children and live on welfare in Boston?—and, ultimately to be snubbed there by her dear nephew (he went golfing and did not attend her US memorial service).

From Standard Media Kenya:

Kisumu, Kenya: Zeituni Onyango Obama, the United States President Barack Obama’s aunt, has been laid to rest in Kisumu under the Muslim religion traditions. This is despite calls by a Homabay resident who had wanted to bury her body claiming she was his wife.

Recently, Ebel Mboya Okoko, a resident of Kanyadhiang Village in Homabay County claimed that Zeituni was his legal wife and wanted to bury her remains at his home under the Luo tradition.

Until Monday, Okoko still had hopes of burying the body despite what he termed his in-laws’ family denying him the rights.

He said efforts to meet Mama Sara Obama or other Zeituni’s close relatives to discuss the whereabouts of Zeituni’s funeral had failed.

Last week a report attributed to President Barack Obama’s half-brother Malik Abong’o, that the remains of Ms Zeituni would be buried in a Muslim cemetery in Kisumu prompted Okoko to seek legal redress to the matter.

Read on to learn more about her children and this dysfunctional family—not every one is granted asylum in America as a way of escaping screwed up relatives!

CIS to hold panel discussion on asylum fraud

If you are in the DC area, this looks like a great opportunity to get some facts on asylum fraud in America!

PANEL: A Generous Asylum System Riddled with Fraud
A Blueprint for Reform

WASHINGTON, DC (April 28, 2014) — The Center for Immigration Studies will host a panel discussion to explore fraud and abuse in the asylum system. The erosion of controls designed to prevent fraud, and the resulting increase in approvals, have led to a 600 percent increase in applications since 2007.

This has serious implications for ordinary immigration control, as seen in South Texas, where there is a surge of Central Americans crossing illegally many of whom are claiming asylum. It also has national security implications; not only were the Boston Marathon Bombers granted asylum, but the Obama administration announced earlier this year that it was loosening restrictions on asylum seekers with ties to terrorism.

Panelists will also discuss the potential impact of the Senate immigration reform bill on the asylum system as well as feasible reform proposals.

Date: Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at 9:30 a.m.

Location: National Press Club, 529 14th Street, NW, 13th Floor, Washington, DC

Participants:

Dan Cadman, Former INS / ICE official with 29 years of experience as an agent, supervisor, and manager and author of a new CIS report, “Asylum in the United States: How a finely tuned system of checks and balances has been effectively dismantled”

CIS: US asylum system fosters fraud

Hot off the presses at the Center for Immigration Studies is a new report: ‘Asylum in the United States: How a finely tuned system of checks and balances has been effectively dismantled.’

Here is what CIS says about it in a press release today:

WASHINGTON, DC (March 26, 2014) — The erosion of checks and balances in the U.S. asylum system, designed to prevent fraud, has led to the nearly tripling of claims for asylum. A Center for Immigration Studies report examines the increased applications as well as the rubberstamping of these applications.

The number of applicants passing the preliminary “credible fear” test nearly tripled from 2012 to 2013, and has increased nearly 600 percent since 2007. Once the applicant receives asylum, they receive access to all major welfare programs.***

Author of the report, Dan Cadman, a retired INS/ICE official: They have learned how to game the system.

Fraud accounts for much of the increase. According to a DHS internal report, 70 percent of asylum applications examined were fraudulent or had strong indicators of fraud. With such a high rate of fraud, it is alarming that DHS statistics show a positive credible fear finding in 92% of all cases decided on the merits.

The CIS report finds that the Senate comprehensive immigration bill would do much to exacerbate the existing problem. Among the list of changes would be the allowing of previous asylum fraudsters to re-apply and allowing asylum to be granted instantly upon application, before any vetting occurs.

Dan Cadman, author of the report and fellow at the Center, said, “Many illegal immigrants have learned how to game the system by applying for asylum as a means of prolonging their time in the United States. If a claimant can pass the preliminary credible fear test they can buy themselves months, often years, living and working legally in the United States. A system designed to stem fraud and abuse has been undone by executive action, agency inaction, and judicial activism.”

Cadman provides nine recommendations of how Congress and the Department of Homeland Security can curb abuses, and set the asylum program on track to function as it was intended. He endorses, for example, a program of routine audits of both credible fear findings and formal asylum grants, which would include investigations of cases found to involve fraud or the withholding of material information.

“Gaming the system” is a worldwide problem as we have learned recently in our “invasion of Europe” series.

***An afterthought:  once someone is granted asylum, as mentioned here, they are given all of the same access a refugee has to welfare goodies, and they can expect ‘service’ from the federal refugee contractors.  Thus those contractors are lobbying for the so-called Comprehensive Immigration Reform bill because it means an expansion of their “services” and more federal grants coming their way!
