Poll: Most Europeans want immigration to the Continent stopped

In North America 39.3 want immigration numbers decreased.

This is a story put out by the International Organization for Migration (IOM).  I mentioned this US government contractor the other day—their role for us is to prepare and ship out the refugees headed for America (I guess other countries too, just never paid enough attention to them).  They have a $1.6 billion budget, here.  According to USA Spending, the US donated over $375 million to the IOM in fiscal year 2014.

The IOM did a worldwide poll on opinions toward immigration which they say will be out later this year.  For whatever reason, they are giving out some preliminary numbers now.

At the Tribune (emphasis is mine):

GENEVA: More than half of Europeans want less migration with up to 84 per cent of Greeks against any further rise, the International Organization for Migration said on Friday.

Releasing the preliminary findings of a Gallup poll held across more than 140 nations, the IOM said the trend in Europe went against the sentiment recorded in other regions of the world.

Across Europe, which has been battling to fight an influx of migrants arriving via often perilous land and sea routes, 52.1 per cent said migration levels should drop.

A total of 30.2 per cent Europeans wanted to maintain the status quo while 7.5 per cent wanted more migrants.  [Guess that means the cheap labor advocates like German Chancellor Angela Merkel are in the minority—big time!—ed]

But there was a divide in the continent in North-South terms.

The majority in Scandinavia wanted the level of newcomers to remain constant or increase but countries in the Mediterranean region, an entry point for many migrants, wanted a sharp fall.

Eighty-four percent Greeks were against higher immigration. The figures for other affected countries were also steep with Italy at 67 per cent, Spain (56 per cent) and Malta (76 per cent).   [Well, heck, if I were running the government in Malta I would surely be shipping the illegal migrants north!—ed]

At the same time anti-immigration rhetoric is growing across the European Union, fuelled by concerns about faltering economic growth and prompting calls for tougher border controls.

I betcha that they did this survey involving North America before the US border invasion by the children this past summer!  And, don’t you wonder how they asked the question and where they asked it!

But in North America, another coveted region for immigrants, the majority would like the status quo maintained (34.2 per cent) or to see the levels increase (22.8 per cent).

They go on to say that 39.3 of North Americans want immigration levels decreased.

I would say that is a very significant number, and possibly more so if we knew when and where they were polling.

Indonesia wants to put Muslim asylum seekers on an island; blasts Australia for lack of welcome

This is actually pretty funny!  Indonesia, a Muslim country, has long served as a transit route for the Middle Eastern and African illegal aliens (boat people) wanting to get into Australia, but Australia has been attempting to stop the illegal migration and is now guarding its borders.  Consequently, the pile-up of “asylum seekers” in Indonesia has become a problem.

Here is a thought—let Indonesia give refuge to fellow Muslims.

Australian Immigration Minister, Scott Morrison: We are taking the “sugar off the table!” Where is America’s Scott Morrison?

 JAKARTA — Senior Indonesian officials say they are looking for an island to accommodate some 10,000 asylum seekers and refugees waiting for resettlement in the country, as they have become a “burden.”

Asylum seekers flock to Indonesia from the Middle East, Asia and Africa, hoping to reach Australia. But Indonesia’s southern neighbor has recently announced that all refugees registered at the Jakarta office of the UNHCR refugee agency from July 2014 will now automatically be banned from resettlement in Australia.

Australia’s immigration minister Scott Morrison compares the ban to “taking the sugar off the table,” and says it’s in Indonesia’s interest. “We’re trying to stop people thinking they can go to Indonesia and wait around till they get to Australia,” he told Australia’s ABC Radio late November. “This is designed to stop people flowing into Indonesia. It will help Indonesia.”

But Indonesian authorities don’t see it that way. “It’s Australia’s right, but it’s creating a burden for us,” said Indonesia’s Justice and Human Rights minister Yasonna Laoly on Australia’s ABC News. “There are 10,000 foreign citizens, which becomes a burden for us.”

Indonesia has never signed any refugee treaty with the UN!  So, why isn’t UNHCR Antonio Guterres blasting Indonesia?  Is it because it is already a Muslim country and it is Australia that should be Islamized?  (LOL! is that a word?).

As a signatory to the United Nations’ Refugee Convention, Australia is bound by international law to protect refugees. Indonesia has not signed the treaty.

Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott’s anti-immigration “Operation Sovereign Borders” was launched shortly after he took office late 2013, and has created tensions with Jakarta. Indonesian authorities haven’t been happy with Australia towing back boats of migrants en route to Australia towards Indonesian waters.

Islamic State spreading into North Africa (Libya and Egypt); blame Hillary and the girls!

In case you missed the story on turkey day last week, the Washington Times published a report that we are mentioning here for two reasons.

First, as you know, Libya is the primary jumping off point for the so-called Muslim “refugees” invading Europe by the tens of thousands via the Mediterranean Sea.  So what is going to stop a few ISIS types climbing into those boats?

And, secondly, we are posting this so that history is not forgotten—the Libya debacle is the direct result of Obama’s three witches dragging the reluctant warrior into their “responsibility to protect” scheme back in 2011.  That would be Hillary, Susan Rice and Samantha Power dubbed the “humanitarian Vulcans” in the White House according to author Edward Klein.

Klein reports in The Amateur that Power had gotten tired of rinky-dink do-gooder stuff  like worrying about Iraqi Christians as Obama’s refugee czar, so she joined the let’s go kill the Colonel chorus.  Gaddafi might have been a tyrant, but he held the country together and kept a check on the number of boats launched from Libya, which is more than we can say for Obama’s girls.

In its war to create a caliphate across Syria and Iraq, the Islamic State is opening a front in North Africa, where affiliated militants are wreaking havoc in eastern Libya and Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula — presenting a complex challenge for Washington and its allies in the region.

Through its savvy use of social media and slick production of recruitment videos, the Islamic State — also known by the acronyms ISIS and ISIL — is attracting a growing number of individual jihadis to its harsh interpretation of Islamic, or Shariah, law.

“ISIL’s stated goal of expanding its caliphate and its adherence to a strict form of Shariah has definitely resonated with a collection of extremists across North Africa, who appear to be mimicking ISIL’s rhetoric and brutality,” said a U.S. intelligence official who spoke on the condition of anonymity in order to discuss security issues freely.

What remains to be seen is whether the region will face a surge of unbridled Islamic State-style violence, including beheadings. Counterterrorism analysts say there is little doubt of that — especially in Libya, where the government is under threat of being overrun by militants, and in Egypt, where the military has struggled to contain Sinai extremists for years.

There is more.

If I were the Europeans, I would be turning back every boat that leaves the coast of North Africa!  But, they won’t of course because they are such chickens.

So remember Hillary’s role in Libya in 2011 and at Benghazi a year later as the 2016 election cycle begins in earnest next month.

The Invasion of Europe continues….

Remember earlier in the week we reported that Syrians in Athens were hunger-striking for the “right” to move on to a wealthier, more generous European country, now Greece has hundreds more Syrians to deal with.

But, the story isn’t half as interesting as the comments which  are dominated by people really really angry at Muslim “refugees.”

From Yahoo News:

IERAPETRA, Greece (AP) — Nearly 600 migrants, mostly refugees from Syria, have been temporarily put up in a basketball arena in the southern Cretan town of Ierapetra, where they arrived in a crippled smuggling ship after more than a week at sea.

Red Cross volunteers on Friday issued warm meals and clothing to the 80 children, 150 women and 361 men who were on the 77-meter (250-foot) Baris freighter, which was towed to Ierapetra Thursday, two days after losing engine power off Crete.

About two-thirds of the migrants are Syrians, who qualify for refugee status, while the others include Kurds, Afghans and Palestinians, officials said.

“These are lower to middle class people who were seeking a better life, due to the war in their country,” said Argyris Pantazis, Ierapetra’s deputy mayor for civil protection.

He said the Syrian refugees will probably leave the arena within the next two days. The other migrants, who do not immediately qualify for refugee status, will be given the option to return to their country voluntarily or be interned in camps pending deportation.

If they are so poor, where are they getting this kind of money?  Someone, or some entity is paying for this!  Saudi Arabia? Turkey? George Soros, or someone of his ilk?  International Communists? Organization of Islamic Cooperation? Why does no reporter ever find out where is the money coming from?

The migrants left Turkey last week, and had paid smugglers between $2,000 and $6,000 to be taken to Italy.

Saudi Arabia deported over 300,000 this year alone. And no one is condemning their country for not helping their Muslim brothers. The “refugees” are looking for those sappy, liberal do-good predominately white countries that are too dumb to realize the refugees are coming just for the government assistance.

It goes on and on like this.  Have a look!  Is a tipping point coming soon?  I’ve been reading comments for years, but the number and the level of anger is definitely on the rise.

To be sure there are sob-stories when an illegal alien boat capsizes, but, this is one of the few places on the internet where an effort is being made to give readers a broad (country by country) view of the invasion.

Malta: “Patriots” protest against illegal aliens; fear Muslim takeover of Malta

Patriots!  (I do love the Tea Party lingo!)

Some of the people of Malta have had it with the huge influx of illegal aliens from Africa and the Middle East and have now joined France, the UK, Sweden, and Italy (among others) in forming a political movement in an effort to halt immigration into Europe.

From Malta Today:

Malta could become a Muslim state within the next 20 years, according to Alex Pisani, the president of the self-declared Organisation of Maltese Patriots (Ghaqda Patrijotti Maltin).

“The people don’t yet know what integration means, it is like giving people full citizenship rights,” Pisani said. “These people will then also be able to bring their family members over. At this rate, we expect Malta to become an African or Muslim state within the next 20 years. Islam is slowly taking over Europe, but we have one religion- Catholicism, and we are proud of it.”

He was speaking right before the organisation’s second anti-immigration protest on Saturday morning, this time with a specific emphasis on their perceived problems brought about by integration with foreign cultures.

Pisani, 61, of Valletta, and the owner of a confectionery, again denied being a racist.

“I’m not fighting for my skin colour but for my Maltese identity,” he explained.

Although here I must say, watching Ferguson, MO burn while the US has a black President could make one wonder if the white race is under siege around the world.  Race relations in America have probably been set back decades by lack of respect for the rule of law and the violent mobs destroying other peoples’ lives and property in Ferguson.

Urging the fearful to come out and express their opinions publicly, Pisani went on to say this this:

“This is your future we’re fighting for,” Pisani told onlookers. “You should be ashamed of yourselves for not uniting with us in this protest.”

The protest ended outside Castille, with Pisani praising the cheering crowd for being “true patriots” and criticising the people who only share their anti-immigration views on Facebook.

Puppets of the EU!

When asked whether his support for such parties means that he is in favour of Malta leaving the European Union, Pisani said that it will work out well for Malta as “we have become puppets of the EU.”
