Could Hillary’s special Libyan refugee be deported?

Just a reminder before I tell you about a refugee Hillary helped get to America and who is now in custody in Colorado, it was Hillary and her gal pals (I called them the three witches), Samantha Power and Susan Rice, who in their zeal to prove the theory of the “responsibility to protect” (and Power was bored with doing rinkey-dink do-gooder stuff  for Iraqi Christians) nagged Obama to join the European clamor for the ouster of Libyan strongman Col. Moammar Gadhafi (spelling varies).

Look where we are now—Libya has turned into a terrorist stronghold, our US Ambassador and three other Americans are dead, and Libya has become the primary launching pad for the invasion of Europe (see all of our posts on the migrant invasion, by clicking here).

In two years Obama will be out of the picture, but the three “humanitarian Vulcans” will still be around.

Hillary’s special Libyan “refugee!”

Al-Obeidi (a lawyer!) who received international attention when she charged that Gadhafi’s men raped her.

A Libyan woman, helped by Hillary to get refugee status in the US (at the point where Hillary and her gals were making their case against Gadhafi), has racked-up crimes in Colorado and could be deported reports a Boulder, CO  newspaper.

The Libyan government said she was mentally ill.  Were they right?

Imagine what this woman is costing taxpayers of Colorado for all of her criminal problems.

Excellent reporting from the Boulder Daily Camera (Hat tip: ‘pungentpeppers’):

In 2011, Iman al-Obeidi became the international face of defiance against Moammar Gadhafi’s regime in Libya after she claimed she’d been brutally raped by more than a dozen of the dictator’s men.

Three years later, as a political refugee living in Boulder, al-Obeidi is “destitute,” according to her attorneys, and has been arrested three times. On probation already in an assault on a police officer, she faces trial this fall in a second assault case — which could jeopardize her ability to stay in the U.S.

Al-Obeidi, now 32, became the center of a media frenzy after she stormed into a hotel room in Tripoli and told the international press there that she was raped after being detained at a security checkpoint. In turn, the Libyan government claimed al-Obeidi was an alcoholic and mentally ill.

Al-Obeidi’s booking photo from Boulder County jail.

After a failed attempt to seek refuge in Qatar, al-Obeidi was granted asylum in the U.S. in June of 2011 and, with the help of then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, she settled in Denver as a political refugee.

There is much more, read it all!

And, note that Al-Obeidi has a long wikipedia entry as the ultimate victim—a (supposedly) raped refugee.  LOL!  The Washington Post called her a “symbol of defiance against Gaddafi.”

One of the complaints I’ve made repeatedly here at RRW is that the Refugee Resettlement program is often used by the State Department to score political points, or bring in refugees who aren’t otherwise deserving of a gift of American citizenship, but for political reasons they are invited anyway—is that what Hillary did?

See #7 in my testimony to the US State Department here, on this point.  I was talking about whole ethnic groups of refugees we bring in, but it applies to certain individuals as well.  When Qatar didn’t want Al-Obeidi (after they protected her for awhile) maybe that was a sign that something wasn’t quite right.

7)   Congress needs to specifically disallow the use of the refugee program for other purposes of the US Government, especially using certain refugee populations to address unrelated foreign policy objectives—Uzbeks, Kosovars, Meshketians and Bhutanese (Nepalese) people come to mind.

Al-Obeidi will never be deported—-where would we deport her to, surely not Libya because the argument will be made that her sexual indiscretions (or even the suggestion of them) will get her a death sentence from the Islamic extremists now in control of that country (thanks to Hillary).

And, thanks to Hillary she will be our problem for the rest of her life!  Hey! Maybe Hillary could take her to CHAPPAQUA and support her!  Bill might even like that!

UN: There will be no refugee camps in Libya/N. Africa

So, the countries of Italy, Greece and Malta will continue to get the brunt of the illegal migration as the ‘invasion of Europe’ continues.

The architects of a disastrous US foreign policy in N.Africa

The UN squawks about the deaths of migrants trying to get to Europe across the Mediterranean, but is scared of setting up camps in Libya to hold them (or could the UN actually be supporting the invasion of Europe by mostly Muslim illegal aliens?).

They don’t say they are scared, we do!

Libya is a lawless hellhole largely thanks to the Obama gals—Hillary, Susan Rice and Samantha Power!

From the Times of Malta:

The United Nations is not considering setting up holding camps in North Africa and the Middle East to prevent migrants from making the dangerous sea crossing to Europe.

Contrary to what was reported in The Guardian, an influential UK newspaper, the UN refugee agency insisted it would only explore external processing “under the right circumstances and with adequate safeguards”.

A spokesman for UNHCR in Malta told Times of Malta the agency “was not considering holding camps” as an alternative to address the challenges of refugees and migrants risking their lives at sea.

“Rather, UNHCR is working on a comprehensive set of proposals, focused on saving lives and helping refugees find alternatives to dangerous journeys,” the spokesman said.

The Guardian yesterday reported that the UN was forced to consider the opening of holding camps where asylum applications could be handled in a bid to prevent thousands of migrants crossing the Mediterranean.

[….]

Countries like Libya, which is not a signatory to the Geneva Convention on refugees, are not considered safe for migrants by human rights groups.[LOL! and the human rights groups don’t want to go there either!—ed]

The boats will continue to be launched and more migrants will drown, so much for the “responsibility to protect.”

The State Department has another scandal

Is this the first scandal of the day or the second, or third, for the Obama Administration?

I’ve been away from the computer so forgive me for losing track.  And, as far as we know this sex and drugs scandal, perhaps not on the level of Benghazi, hopefully has nothing to do with Benghazi and probably has nothing to do with refugees.  But, the agency that chooses (with UN guidance) who will be resettled in your town from the third world is the US State Department, so what happens there is instructive.  Are good and decent people making those choices?

It happened during Hillary’s watch.

Misconduct worldwide!

From CBS (hat tip: Pat):

WASHINGTON (CBSDC) – Uncovered documents show the U.S. State Department may have covered up allegations of illegal behavior ranging from sexual assaults to an underground drug ring.

CBS News reports that is has unearthed documents from the Diplomatic Security Service (DSS), an internal watchdog agency, that implicate the State Department in a series of misconducts worldwide.

The memo, reported by CBS News’ John Miller, cited eight specific examples, including allegations that a State Department security official in Beirut “engaged in sexual assaults” with foreign nationals hired as embassy guards and the charge and that members of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s security detail “engaged prostitutes while on official trips in foreign countries” — a problem the report says was “endemic.”

Former State Department internal investigator Aurelia Fedenisn told CBS News, “We also uncovered several allegations of criminal wrongdoing in cases, some of which never became cases.”

[….]

A draft of the Inspector General’s report on the performance of the Diplomatic Security Service, obtained by CBS News, states, “Hindering such cases calls into question the integrity of the investigative process, can result in counterintelligence vulnerabilities and can allow criminal behavior to continue.”

Albanian caught on camera having sex with homeowner’s dog jailed for six years

That, readers, is the headline of a post at The Muslim Issue.  The original story comes from the UK Daily Mail.  The incident happened in Rye, NY.  This story says he lived in Rye for 15 years.  And, here is a news story when he was first arrested that indicates the women living in the apartment complex had complained about him (it doesn’t sound like women were  high on his list of interests).

I’ve searched around and can’t find any definitive source telling us he is an Albanian Muslim (other than The Muslim Issue  which had originally reported it that way), but he hasn’t learned much about our culture in 15 years (we love our dogs!) and is obviously a severely disturbed immigrant who should be deported (why are we wasting time and money by incarcerating him?).

Update:  I see that The Muslim Issue has printed some clarification and now says that they don’t know if the Albanian man is a Muslim. I was thinking it would be especially strange if a Muslim would get so cozy with a dog.

One of the major ways the mainstream media protects immigrant criminals like Kujtim Nicaj (no matter their religion or country of origin) is that they never tell us how he came to be in the US.   Did he come illegally? Did he get into that mystery line everyone mentions when they foolishly say, “I’m against illegal immigration, but legal is o.k.!”  Did he come on a visa and overstay his visa?  Did he come through chain migration?  Or, was he a refugee or asylee?

Is he a refugee?

I’m guessing he was a refugee (if the media doesn’t report it, we can just guess! right!) because we have resettled thousands of Albanians/Kosovars over the years.  If he came to Rye, NY 15 years ago, he may very well have been among the 3,636 Albanians we resettled between 1983 and 1997. (( First, go to the Georgetown Law Library website here.  Find the annual report for 1997 (15 years before the dog rape), go to Appendix A and see statistics on Albanians resettled here.  Many went to New York state)).  Keep in mind that he could be here illegally; one reader tells me he has met illegal alien Albanians.

Forget the dog rapist!  How about taxpayer rapists!

One of the most outrageous resettlement cases I’ve ever written about involves Albanians/Kosovars. Readers, do you know that in 1999 Bill Clinton (with Al Gore) needed to show that they were doing something to save people involved in Clinton’s phoney baloney Bosnian war and pressured by GOVERNMENT RESETTLEMENT CONTRACTORS airlifted 15,000 Albanians here for a news story and later (at your expense!) shipped many back to their homeland!  It was a twofer—a public relations stunt and bucks for the federal contractors who got paid to resettle them even if it was only temporary.

This is what I reported in 2010:

Ahhhh!!!!  I just came across this report from the National War College about how the volags (supposedly voluntary agencies but really federal contractors*) were basically in need of warm bodies to resettle (for $$$) in the US in 1999 so they pushed Gore and the National Security Council to go against professionals in the State Department and even against the wishes of the UN and airlifted tens of thousands of Kosovar “refugees” to the US during Bill Clinton’s phony baloney Bosnian War.

And, then airlifted them back as I reported in this post about the return airlift—at taxpayer expense.  Even the Kosovars didn’t want to come to the US!  I had heard about that return trip but had never heard about the first part of the story, how they happened to be “resettled” originally, until I discovered this declassified report by David M. Robinson (which I have printed out in case it disappears!).

Albanians were brought to Ft. Dix in NJ and only NJ Senator Robert Toricelli complained (otherwise Congress was silent!) about the financial impact that the refugees might have on central NJ communities.  When he was assured the feds would pick up the tab, he dropped his complaints.  Readers will recall there would have been a potentially huge impact on the community if the Ft. Dix Six had carried out their terror plot. One of those Muslims involved in the plot was a former refugee from Albania who had been housed at Ft. Dix as a child.

And, have a look at this.  I just came across this 1999 San Fran Chronicle story about Hillary greeting the Albanians in NJ—the first waves that ultimately swelled to 15,000!

Now, visit the 1999 ORR annual report to Congress.  Where the heck are they hiding the 15,000?  Maybe in the former Yugoslavia category? They are not listed as KosovarsAppendix A indicates a whopping  11 Albanians came that year.  But, LOL! I did find lots of “emergency” funds funneled to the contractors to take care of the Albanians (these are in addition to other taxpayer dollars that went to the Albanian Muslim resettlement operation) even if I didn’t find the Albanians!

Kosovar Refugee Emergency Grants

ORR awarded $3,112,944 to public and private non-profit agencies who resettle newly arriving refugees under a Reception and Placement cooperative agreement with the Department of State to augment the refugee resettlement program for Kosovar refugees.

The following national voluntary agencies received Kosovo Refugee Emergency Grants:

Domestic and Foreign Missionary Society: Episcopal Ministries, $180,000
Ethiopian Community Development Council, Inc., $190,000
Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society, $200,000
Iowa Department of Human Services, $409,500
International Rescue Committee, $373,750
Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service, $413,000
National Council of Churches/Church World Service, $257,860
United States Catholic Conference, $776,250
World Relief Corporation, $260,214

Looks like the Catholic Bishops topped the list of recipients receiving your tax dollars to resettle Muslims!

Ten reasons for a moratorium on refugee resettlement!

Last May I testified at the State Department hearings on fiscal year 2013 and presented my list of reasons why this program needs to be halted until it’s reformed.  My number 7 is this:

Congress needs to specifically disallow the use of the refugee program for other purposes of the US Government, especially using certain refugee populations to address unrelated foreign policy objectives—Uzbeks, Kosovars, Meshketians and Bhutanese (Nepalese) people come to mind.  [update:  add illegal aliens from Malta to this list!]

You may think we are resettling destitute and suffering people while the UN and the US government may have other ideas about why they are moving people around the globe!

Libyan officials are in Texas studying how we secure our borders….

….maybe they are here to see how to get more of their people across our border!

This is not a joke, this is not a Saturday Night Live skit, but it will make you chuckle on several levels.

First, they say they are here to learn from us—the experts—on how best to secure their borders.  And, my question is are they trying to keep illegal immigrants out of Libya, or their own people in, because Libya has been the jumping off point for Africans (Libyans and others) trying to get to Malta* or Italy and to the rest of Europe.

Apparently invited by the Obama Administration, here is the story and video report (hat tip: Gary, who knows the Texas border well):

WESLACO – Members of the Libyan government were in the Rio Grande Valley to learn about the way the United States secures its borders.

More than a dozen Libyan officials toured Valley ports of entry this week. They said Libya faces some of the same problems with drug smuggling, weapons smuggling and illegal immigration.

The Libyans said that, contrary to United States, their borders have little security.

They said 3,000 miles of border separate Libya from six other countries. Their borders are open, with no natural or manmade barriers. Their borders have no ports of entry or checkpoints.

They came to the Valley to learn how Customs and Border Protection officers stop drug smugglers, human traffickers and illegal immigrants.

[…..]

Members of the delegation said they need more resources and training to secure their borders.

What do you want to bet that Obama is about to give them the “resources.”    It’s O.K. for Libya to want to secure its borders while the US border is still a sieve and the Democrats cry foul when some of us want to secure it even further.

Watch for it!  US tax dollars to Libya for border security!

Libya’s history with illegal immigrants and allowing them to embark from Libyan ports has been a long one.  During Gaddaffi’s reign he turned the spigot of “refugees” leaving Libya on and off at his whim, but in years leading up to his getting the heave-ho from Obama and friends, he had tried to stem the tide of migrants launching from Libya.

Then when the ‘beautiful’ Arab Spring began (thanks to Obama and Hillary) the flow began in earnest and many died in vessels attempting to carry immigrants across the Mediterranean Sea to Europe.   As a matter of fact, Libyan “refugees” are still dying as this article from last month highlights.

Also, as the racist Arab rebels consolidated power in Libya after the fall of Gaddaffi, we have many posts here reporting on the treatment of black Africans in Libya (here is just one on the subject where Hillary slaps the rebels’ wrists).

The Arab Spring created tens of thousands of additional refugees running for their lives.   The Arab Libyans do not like blacks and I suspect that is the real reason behind their desire to close their borders to the rest of Africa (I doubt that guns and drugs are foremost on their minds).  It’s those low-life blacks (Muslim or not) that the Muslim Arabs hate.

* For new readers:  We have paid special close attention to Malta for over 5 years now, as the US continues to take illegal immigrants who arrive on Malta to the US as refugees.  Reader Charles sent us this article just a week ago today.  Look at the video clip associated with the Texas article above which shows a map of the region—the island of Malta is in a direct line from Libya.   These African illegal aliens now on the way to America, surely launched from Libya.

From the Times of Malta:

20 migrants from Somalia, Eritrea and Sudan, all single adult men, except for a family of four and one couple, have left Malta for the US  under the US Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP).  On arrival, they will be assisted by NGOs in the USA to proceed to their final destinations in various states.

This latest departure brings the total of beneficiaries of international protection who were resettled to the United States from Malta since 2007 to 1,118 migrants. Since the start of the USRRP in 2008, the number of beneficiaries of protection resettled to the United States amounts to 1,090.

307 migrants have been resettled from Malta to the United States of America since the beginning of this year.

15 more of Malta’s illegal aliens came to the US the week before thatHere, thanks to Charles.  This precedent-setting practice of taking off Malta’s hands some of its economic migrants began in the Bush Administration and was instigated by Jesuits in Malta with the help of a succession of US Ambassadors to the country.   Legitimate refugees are to seek asylum in the first safe country in which they arrive.  There isn’t supposed to be this ‘pass through’ ticket to the US.  This is the European Union’s problem, not ours!

How about if we tell our “friends” running Libya now to stop the boats from launching as a first step in their border security!

For more, type ‘Libya’ into our search function.  We have dozens and dozens of posts on the monster we helped create.  Responsibility to protect!  What a joke!
