The US State Department, the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) and whichever resettlement contractor they used in Rochester, NY to resettle these Bhutanese (Nepalese) are a bunch of nincompoops!
They must think that if they plunk down some new minority into an African American neighborhood that all of those people of different colors will somehow sympathize with each other and magically melt into a sort of blissful multicultural co-existence.
Locked inside their house in northwest Rochester, the Nepalese family felt under siege.
Outside, a crowd of young men — 20 to 25 in number — broke windows to the home and threatened to storm inside, according to members of the family. Moments before, several young men had followed and jumped a Nepalese teen. That scuffle then escalated into the menacing gang.
It wasn’t until the police came that the crowd scattered. This incident, in daylight hours Thursday, is another in a growing list of attacks against South Asian refugee families who have been settled in areas of northwest Rochester near Jones Square.

As law enforcement officials decide how to curb the intimidation and violence, the refugees themselves say they feel ignored and left to fend for themselves.

Many of the refugees are hesitant to talk to police, and, when they do, they have not been able to provide much information about their attackers. Typically, the offenders have been young African-American men, creating a volatile situation in which the refugees feel at risk in the very neighborhoods where they have been resettled.
Think that’s bad, just wait until potentially thousands of Central American teenage “refugee” boys arrive in upstate New York (resettled there by some of the same nincompoops!).
They couldn’t create more chaos and strife if they tried (or, scary thought, maybe they are trying?).

An old Walmart store was apparently under consideration by the Office of Refugee Resettlement to house a large number of so-called ‘unaccompanied minors.’
Upstate NY Walmart ruled out as home for the Central American (mostly teenaged) boys crashing the US border.
Federal officials are no longer considering a former Walmart building in the town of Sweden as temporary housing for children who fled violence in Central America and are in the United States illegally.
Assemblyman Steve Hawley, R-Batavia, said in a news release Monday that after he raised concerns, the federal Department of Health and Human Services informed him that the site, which is near Brockport, no longer is on the table.
Hawley’s statement called the decision “the right one.”
“Brockport residents and upstate New York taxpayers can’t afford to be paying for the housing, health care and education of illegal immigrant children,” the statement said. “It’s important that we do everything to help these children, but Brockport is ill-equipped for such an undertaking long-term.”
Sweden Deputy Supervisor Robert Muesebeck said Town Hall received many phone calls from residents about the idea after it became public — most of them negative.
Muesebeck said Monday evening he had not been informed of federal officials’ decision.
“That would make a lot of our taxpayers and citizens happy,” he said.

Who knows how this apparently legal immigrant got into the US, but the feds should check if his convenience store was ripping off US taxpayers while they are at it!
ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A New York business owner from Yemen plotted vengeance attacks against members of the U.S. military for American actions overseas and Shiite Muslims over the civil war in Syria, according to federal authorities.
Federal authorities said in court papers that Mufid Elfgeeh, 30, of Rochester, bought two handguns and two silencers as part of a plan to kill members of the U.S. armed forces returning from war, as well as Shiites in the Rochester area.
Elfgeeh was arrested Saturday and faces two counts of receiving and possessing an unregistered firearm silencer.
Check it out, he ran a convenience store too!
Elfgeeh, a naturalized U.S. citizen who operates Halal Mojo and Food Mart in Rochester, paid the informant $1,050 in the transaction completed Saturday afternoon and was immediately arrested for possession of the silencers not registered in his name.

Iraqi refugee could get 25 years for brutal rape
Here is what happened according to the Albany Times Union and reporter Robert Gavin (emphasis below is mine):

A jury needed less than two hours on Thursday to convict an Iraqi refugee of brutally raping a 19-year-old woman behind a trash bin in Colonie after meeting her at a downtown bar last year.
Salam Al Haideri, 24, of Niskayuna, faces 25 years in prison after the jury of nine men and three women found him guilty of predatory sex assault and first-degree rape.

Al Haideri and a friend had met the victim, whom neither man knew, at the Buddha Tea House club on North Pearl Street in the pre-dawn hours of June 2, 2013. The 4-foot-11 woman got in their car and, during the ride, Al Haideri touched her. She said she wanted to go home and she and Al Haideri argued. When Al Haideri’s friend stopped the car, Al Haideri yanked the woman out of the car and took her behind a trash bin behind “I Love NY” pizzeria on Central Avenue by Vly Road, Cleary said.
Al Haideri smashed the victim’s face into the pavement, ripped open her shorts and raped her for 12 minutes as she begged him to stop, Cleary said.
“This is an act of just pure anger,” Cleary told jurors. “When she started to fight back, he beat her into submission and then he took what he believed he was entitled to.”
Cleary showed the jury a photo of the victim smiling before she went out that night. She then contrasted that with an image of the woman at Albany Medical Center Hospital, where she lay bloody, beaten and bandaged.
“Someone just doesn’t come out of a consensual sexual encounter looking like that,” a man on the jury said after the verdict.
Breakthrough in media coverage!
Here is the most important part of the story at the Times Union, and for this we owe reporter Robert Gavin a debt of gratitude. When we first began RRW back in 2007 (and for years until most recently), stories like this one would describe the convicted rapist as an “immigrant who found his way” to Albany—the ‘R’ word was never mentioned!
Not only is the sacrosanct word “refugee” mentioned here, but the Iraqi criminal’s resettlement through a “federally funded program” and by Catholic Charities under contract to the US Conference of Catholic Bishops is discussed!
Al Haideri is the third Middle East refugee — all brought to the Capital Region under the same federally funded resettlement program — to be convicted of a sex crime since 2010.

The conviction follows the sex crime convictions of Walid Nehma, 30, an Iraqi refugee who once was a housemate of Al Haideri, and Salah Mhawesh, 34, an Egyptian refugee. All three settled in the Capital Region with help of a program run by Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Albany under a contract with the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Migration and Refugee Services.
In December 2009, Nehma struck a woman in the face, forced her to the ground, tore her pants open and tried to rape her as she screamed for help in a desolate area next to Capital Repertory Theater. He is serving a 5-year sentence at Great Meadow Correctional Facility in Washington County for attempted rape and is due to be released on Dec. 3. Mhawesh pleaded guilty in 2012 to first-degree sex abuse of a woman in his home on Central Avenue. He was sentenced to one year in the Albany County jail, which became time served.
When Al Haideri testified Wednesday, Cleary also questioned him about the assistance he received in jailhouse conversations with Jacqueline Foster, 73, of Niskayuna, his foster mother in the refugee resettlement program.
Al Haideri lived with Foster, who had also allowed Nehma to live with her family for a time.

Reporters and thus the public are beginning to understand how it is we have so many refugees living in especially “preferred resettlement sites” like Albany.
Note also the sickening story from Syracuseearlier in the week about a Catholic Church becoming a mosque—that conversion was attributed to an increase in the ‘refugee’ population there, so bit by bit (hopefully) the political correctness that has dominated the mainstream media and kept it silent about the Refugee Program of the US State Department/UN is disappearing.
LOL! The next step is to bill the US State Department for the refugee criminal trials occurring with greater frequency now! And, while they are at it they could foot the bill for his next 25 years behind bars as well (and maybe the Catholic Bishops could throw in some cash too!).

It is a cold and rainy Sunday morning and I’m not easily discouraged, but I have to say this story is depressing. Most people don’t understand that Islam marks its victories by turning Christian churches into mosques. Surely there are other buildings available in Syracuse.

For close to six decades, Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church on Syracuse’s north side was Anna Giannantomio’s church. She fought the Catholic Diocese decision to close it in 2010. While she believes everyone should be free to practice the religion they choose – she doesn’t understand why a new Islamic society wants to remove the crosses and move into the historic catholic church.
“This place was put into historical preservation and rightfully so,” said Giannantomio.

Holy Trinity was recently purchased by the North Side Learning Center, a volunteer group that assists refugees and immigrants. North Side Learning Center will lease the church to an Islamic society which would rename it Mosque Of Jesus The Son Of Mary. The North Side Learning Center has also filed a request with the Landmark Preservation Board to remove the crosses on the steeples and grounds. [Those who care in Syracuse should file a protest with the Preservation Board—ed]
Professor Margaret Thompson from Syracuse University’s Maxwell School says nearly 75% of refugees settling in Syracuse are Muslimand that religious freedom has been bringing immigrants to America for hundreds of years.
“Holy Trinity was founded to welcome German immigrants to Syracuse when it was originally built and now its welcoming a new cohort of immigrants,” said Thompson.
Anna Giannantomio wants everyone to have a place to worship. She immigrated from Italy as a teenager and understands the discrimination many Muslims face in America but Giannantomio wishes the church that welcomed her to the U.S. would stay a Catholic church.
“I don’t want to hurt anybody but the building should remain as it is,” said Giannantomio.
The North Side Learning Center is now making repairs to the buildings. They hope the mosque will be ready to open in June.
Syracuse refugee program is changing and we recommend if you live there you need to start researching and reporting to your local community. The Northside Learning Center is probably operating on taxpayer dollars so you have a right to demand more information about their activities.
New York is one of the top states with a large African and Middle Eastern Muslim population, here. Demographic change is what it’s all about. Once they get the population numbers almost nothing else matters.
Ironically the largest resettlement contractor, bringing the most Muslims to your towns and cities, is the US Conference of Catholic Bishops.
