So why were Pro-amnesty agitators at Cantor election-night headquarters?

Is that CASA de Maryland we see rioting at Cantor headquarters on election night?

Wouldn’t it make more sense if they had stormed the Brat election-night party?

Our source on the ground suggests they were there because they had anticipated a Cantor victory!

From a Brat supporter:

They were THERE FOR THE VICTORY CELEBRATION….because Cantor winning MEANT AMNESTY.

At least they were honest about what a Cantor victory really meant.

Story at the Washington Post.  Police were called in.  Our post on the stunning Cantor defeat yesterday.

I wonder how much time the Sandinistas (aka CASA) spent in Richmond working on the Cantor campaign?

From at least last fall!

Be sure to see this story (The corruption of Eric Cantor) at Right Side News from September 2013, where Cantor staffers met with Open borders activists (including btw, the Virginia Council of Churches, a refugee contractor):

As the September 4, 2013, Richmond, Virginia TEA Party was holding its rally outside the locked doors of Mr. Cantor’s Richmond offices, Mr. Cantor’s staff, represented at the highest levels, was meeting – privately and very quietly – with far-left groups representing pro-Amnesty, pro-Obamacare and pro-entitlement groups.

These groups included:

*Central American Solidarity Association (CASA): A special interest group in favor of Progressive and Liberal policies promoting the expansion of rights for undocumented (read: illegal) aliens currently residing in the United States.

There is more!  Read it all!

Let this be a lesson to Republicans everywhere.

Senate Appropriations Committee votes to give HHS $2 billion for the illegal alien kids

Ahhhhh!  It is insane!

I’m ashamed to say that Maryland Senator Barbara Mikulski, as chairwoman of the Senate Appropriations Committee, is the leader of this latest travesty. http://www.appropriations.senate.gov/news/chairwoman-mikulski-prepared-remarks-fy15-lhhs-subcommittee-markup

When Robin sent me this story yesterday, my first thought was that the $2 billion would be spread around the various agencies including FEMA, Homeland Security and possibly the Defense Department (now housing some of the “refugee” kids), but this $2 billion is destined for the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) in the Dept. of Health and Human Services, the agency legally responsible for unaccompanied alien minors!

From ORR, millions could be doled out to the refugee contractors including the US Conference of Catholic Bishops and Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service (ActOfLove, what a joke!).

And, those contractors are busy lobbying for more money, more refugees, and more immigrant “clients” generally (they lobbied for the Senate “comprehensive immigration reform” bill as well).  Are they using your money for lobbying?

Here is the story according to Reuters:

A Senate appropriations panel voted Tuesday to give the Obama administration $2 billion it requested to handle the dramatic increase in child immigrants caught trying to illegally cross the Mexican border without their parents, Reuters reported.

The money is more than $1.1 billion more than President Barack Obama initially asked for in his budget proposal for the Health and Human Services division that cares for and houses immigrant children caught alone at the border, according to Reuters. It would effectively come from yet unspecified changes in mandatory programs.

The number of children found trying to cross the Mexican border without parents has skyrocketed in recent years, Reuters reported. Between 2008 and 2011, the number of children landing in the custody of HHS’s Refugee Resettlement fluctuated between 6,000 and 7,500 per year.

In 2012 border agents apprehended 13,625 unaccompanied children and that number surged even more, to over 24,000 last year with the total is expected to be as high as 90,000 this year, according to Reuters.

[….]

The HHS budget approved by the committee would also allow the government to move money from other areas if the flow of child immigrants grows beyond the latest estimate of up to 90,000, according to Reuters.

[….]

The full Senate will have the final say on its version of the HHS budget, and the House has not yet acted on the issue, Reuters reported.

[….]

Under federal law, the children are supposed to be turned over to HHS within 72 hours, Reuters reported. Most are then reunited with parents or other relatives already living in the United States.

And then this line really ticks me off (as if the above isn’t bad enough)!

Most children caught crossing the border alone are from Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala and cannot be quickly repatriated, according to Reuters.

If anyone in leadership had any guts they would propose what I put forward, here, yesterday.  Airlift the mostly teenaged boys back to their respective state capitals and turn them over to their own governments and threaten to cut off all aid to the country if they ever return to the US.

Seattle: Somali refugee killed in city’s “International District”

Diversity is strength alert!

Mohamed Osman shot dead in Seattle’s International District

It is never the Somalis who are the problem!  This time it’s what else?  Too many guns!  And, the police are to blame as well!

From q13Fox.news:

SEATTLE — Police are investigating a deadly shooting overnight in the International District. The gunman is still on the loose.

Friends say the latest victim was 27-year-old Mohamed Osman, a Somali native, who moved to Seattle a few years ago.

Fourth person killed in the neighborhood this week!

Osman is the fourth person to be killed in a shooting in Seattle this week. Although the incidents do not appear to be related, many people are worried.

“It`s very scary when you live in the neighborhood that it happens in, and it can happen any time,” says Lisa Tsui, who lives in the International District.

Put a Somali on the police force and that’ll fix it!

But he says guns aren’t the only problem. He thinks the police need to do a better job, reaching out to the different ethnic groups in the city. He says this latest shooting could have avoided if police had paid more attention to the problems brewing in Seattle’s Somali community.

“The Seattle police department doesn`t have anyone with a Somali background representing the community,” he says.

Seattle is a “preferred resettlement site” for the US State Department and its contractors.   And, by the way, we have admitted another 4,508 Somalis to the US this year (added to the over 100,000 admitted so far).

US Amphibious Assault ship rescues illegal migrants in Mediterranean, brings more problems for beleaguered Malta

US aids invasion of Europe in more ways than one.

Longtime readers know that we have been following the slow motion disaster for the Maltese people as their tiny country suffers the proportionately largest brunt of the assault on Europe by illegal migrants crossing the Mediterranean, now largely from Libya, where sources tell us that 800,000 would-be “asylum seekers” are poised to break into Europe.

Before you read on, visit American Thinker right now (hat tip Judy) and read an excellent review of the dark and prophetic novel (written in 1973!) about the future of France (Europe) and ultimately America—The Camp of the Saints— as destitute migrant masses arrive on Europe’s shores (and come across our Southern border!).   Then order it for your summer reading!

So how are we aiding the invasion beyond picking up 282 mostly men and instead of returning them to Libya our war ship drops them off on Malta?

Some of the 282 Africans brought on board the USS Bataan on Friday.

We (Obama) played a key role in the destabilization of Libya the launch pad for the invasion, and for many years now—starting with George W. Bush—the US State Department has been ‘helping’ by taking some of Malta’s illegal aliens to the US as “refugees” thus adding one more inducement (a ticket to America) for the economic migrants to take the plunge.  (See our extensive archive on ‘Malta.’)

From the Malta Independent (Hat tip: Charles):

The multipurpose amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5) transferred 277 persons in distress to the Armed Forces of Malta offshore patrol vessel P61, and another five persons were medically evacuated to Malta June 7, 2014.

Bataan and USS Elrod (FFG 55) rendered assistance on Friday to persons in distress at sea in the Mediterranean after receiving a report of a sinking small vessel. Bataan provided food, water, medical attention and temporary shelter.

[….]

Bataan launched two Search and Rescue MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopters to investigate. Once on scene, Bataan’s SAR helicopters confirmed a small vessel was sinking. The SAR helicopters then deployed the SAR swimmers to start extracting persons from the water. Elrod deployed their 7-meter rigid hull inflatable boat; Bataan deployed their 11-meter Captain’s Gig and 7-meter RHIB to assist.

282 persons were recovered and brought on board Bataan.

Bataan, with elements of 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, is operating in the US 6th Fleet area of operations to augment US Crisis Response forces in the region.

So what is the mood on Malta?  A commenter at the Independent gives us some idea:

The USS Bataan should have taken them to Libya where they left from. Who’s fault is it that they were in distress? Am I supposed to feel sympathy for them? Well hell I don’t. They all know where they can go.

All it would take to stop the insanity is for Western leaders to grow a spine and start taking migrants back to Libya or elsewhere in North Africa, encourage the UN to build appropriate camps and then the ‘caring class’ must figure out how to save Africa (in Africa) because it is obvious the migrating masses will soon sink the lifeboat!

See Roy Beck at NumbersUSA explaining how America, or civilized nations generally, cannot solve the world’s poverty by moving some of the overflow to the West.   Beck, states the obvious:  “They have to be helped where they live!”

With release of illegal alien women and children in TX and AZ, the word spreads and more will come

Invasion of America….

The Obama Administration’s immigration policy is luring illegal migrants from Central America and Mexico to our Southern border where the ability to detain them has collapsed.

Somehow the migrants have confused the ‘unaccompanied minor’ policy (where the kids traveling alone are treated as refugees) and now mothers with little kids think they are free to come as well.

I think that Obama is quite happy with the situation as he speeds up the revolution.  After all, his time is running out to fundamentally transform America.

From Statesman.com.  Thanks to a reader (sorry lost track of who sent it!).

Ana Bulnes the new Honduran consul at the recently opened office in McAllen, TX: “The people who are able to enter are those who send the message back.”

REYNOSA, Tamaulipas —

The 27-year-old Honduran woman is desperate to know if the rumor is true: that she’ll be allowed to stay in the United States because she is traveling with her 2-year-old daughter.

At a shelter for migrants in Reynosa across the border from McAllen, Jennys Aguilar Cardenas and other women have heard about mothers being released with their babies, about children being reunited with relatives in the U.S. Like a game of telephone, the word has spread, giving hope to an apparently growing number of migrants willing to risk the dangerous crossing — with their young children — to escape intense poverty and crime at home.

US adding incentives to make the move now:

The spike in migrant detentions comes as Obama is under pressure both to reform immigration laws and to do more to stop illegal entries. Republican lawmakers have suggested the rise in child migrants is a result of lax enforcement. The Border Patrol acknowledges there is a problem in families being released, with its deputy chief, Ronald Vitiello, noting in a May 30 draft memo that such actions are “incentives to additional individuals to follow the same path.”

Spreading by word of mouth:

Ana Bulnes, the Honduran consul for South Texas, said Wednesday it is hard to discourage families from making the trip when U.S. authorities, in fact, are releasing them — sometimes dropping them off at bus stations in Texas and Arizona.

The rumors are spreading by word of mouth, not through any mass media channels such as radio that can be monitored, she said.

“The people who are able to enter are those who send the message back,’” Bulnes said.

About the photo: On May 30th, the Honduran government opened a new consulate in McAllen Texas.  Bulnes is celebrating with champagne.  The timing couldn’t be better.
