Looks like it will be poor showing for #NoMuslimBanEver rally in DC tomorrow

I told you about the rally here and here.

Normally a rally like this (supported by CAIR) wouldn’t be something I would write about, but when I learned that all nine of the federal refugee resettlement contractors (which are largely funded by you) were trying to gin up support for the rally, it became our business.

Remember folks, most of the nine quasi-government agencies*** whose job it is to take care of the arriving refugees could not exist without funding from you.

See here at the rally’s facebook page this morning, that only 907 people (out of tens of thousands of supporters of the nine contractors) have signed up to participate.

But, watch for it on the mainstream media where we will be led to believe the rally was huge even though we can see there isn’t much support for #NoMuslimBanEver!

If you live in DC or nearby, go check it out and let us know!

*** Nine federal resettlement contractors largely funded by you are Leftwing community organizers. At least 5 of the nine would fold immediately if they had no taxpayer funding:

All nine federal resettlement contractors support Oct. 18th #NoMuslimBanEver rally

That is a rally partially sponsored by the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) to be held in Washington, DC this coming week. (As of this writing they have 847 confirmed planning to attend, here.)

I told you about it here when the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society was pushing its groupies to attend.

Curious about whether the other eight federal refugee contractors (some receiving nearly all of their funding from the US Treasury)*** were involved, I asked in that post if anyone knew.

I got my answer just now at twitter when the lobbying arm of the refugee industry (Refugee Council USA) put out this message:

So who are the members of the refugee lobbying consortium.  Here they are:

***Check out those logos, below are the nine contractors. Where is Congress? Shouldn’t there be a law that if you take most of your funding from taxpayers, you shouldn’t be marching in the streets against the President and us!

Think about it!  All nine contractors (the Catholic church included!) are telling their people to march against the President and for CAIR!

Why don’t they just take good care of the refugees they are being paid to care for!

LOL! I’m on a roll today, energized by Ms. Wolfe!

Memory lane! CT Senator Richard Blumenthal sought to REDUCE security screening for Syrians in 2015

Because he is all over the news today as the focal point in one more attack on President Donald Trump, I’m re-posting this story from 2015 so you know just who Senator Blumenthal is and why he must be pretty unhappy with Trump.
In 2015 Senator Blumenthal held a press conference with the director of CAIR Connecticut seeking to speed up Syrian refugees to America by reducing security screening requirements. 98% of Syrians entering the US are Muslims.
This is what I said October 7, 2015:

Update: Who was that man over Senator Blumenthal’s left shoulder?

Yesterday we told you that Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) is leading the charge to lessen the security screening for Syrian and other Middle Eastern refugees and he wants to expand the so-called P-3 (fraud ridden!) family reunification program.
See yesterday’s post by clicking here. (Go there to see exactly how Senator Blumenthal wanted to make it easier for Syrians to get  through the refugee screening process.)

That is CAIR-Connecticut’s Executive Director behind Senator Blumenthal. Getting pretty brazen aren’t they, or is Blumenthal just pretty dense to invite CAIR to be so prominently involved in lessening security screening for refugees?

Now we know the answer to the question I asked all of you to help answer.  Looming over Blumenthal’s shoulder is none other than Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR)- Connecticut director Mongi Dhaouadi.
(When I mentioned to a friend that I had updated my post with that information (thanks to Kyle), she suggested I write a second post because as a subscriber, who received the earlier one, she would not see the update.)
But it is worth mentioning again because this is now the second time we have seen CAIR involving itself directly in the Syrian (mostly Muslim) resettlement issue (and you can bet they are not advocating for the persecuted Syrian Christians).
Clearly their interest is in boosting the Muslim population in the US.
CAIR was here in the St. Louis ‘Bring them here march’ last month.
Here is Mr. Dhaouadi’s bio at CAIR’s website:  (update: Apparently Mr. Dhaouadi has moved on since I first wrote this story)

Mongi Dhaouadi
Executive Director

Mongi S. Dhaouadi was born and raised in Tunisia. He moved to the US when he was 19 years old and studied Electrical Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. As The Executive director of CAIR-CT, he conducts civil rights workshops throughout the state of Connecticut under the title “Know Your Rights.” Also, he leads several workshops and discussions on Islamophobia and the Muslim experience before and after 9/11. He has participated in and led several media campaigns and press conferences on issues concerning the Muslim community ranging from discrimination cases to advocating for the change of racial profiling laws in the state of Connecticut. Dhaouadi was featured in countless local, national, and international media outlets including NPR, FOX News, and Democracy Now with Amy Goodman. During the summer, he runs a youth internship program during which high school and college students work on several projects ranging from preparing a toolkit on Islamic cultural competency for schools, to writing and publishing articles from a Muslim youth perspective in the local papers and publications. Dhaouadi leads a Connecticut delegation at the Capitol Hill visits; an event that is organized every year by CAIR National, where members of the Muslim community visit their representatives in Wasington, DC and advocate for issues of concern domestic and foreign. Prior to joining CAIR-CT on a full time bases Dhaouadi was the Head Administrator at SKF Academy in Hamden Connecticut. Dhaouadi is married with three children: ages 11, 14 and 18. He lives with his family in New London, Connecticut. His favorite past time is playing or coaching soccer.

So far Connecticut doesn’t get very many refugees compared to other states.  I guess Blumenthal and Dhaouadi would like to change that.
Is CAIR getting into the refugee resettlement program where you live?  Let me know.  And, while you are at it, see if you notice the involvement of Islamic Relief (USA) as well.
Go here to find the regional offices of Islamic Relief (USA) thanks to reader Cathy.

Trump Watch! Trump delaying executive order on refugees (or so we are told)

trump-watch
Trump Watch!

Update: Who is running the show, Trump or bureaucrats, see here.
Late last night word began to leak out that the much anticipated executive orders on the UN/US Refugee Admissions Program and immigrant visas from terror-exporting countries were being delayed.

You might want to let the White House know what you think by clicking here.

This is what Townhall says on the matter:

Trump Delays Executive Order On Refugees, Immigration From Nations With Terrorist Activity

Christine wrote about it last night, but it looks like the executive order to curb refugees and immigration from nations that have a history of terrorist activity won’t be happening tomorrow, according to CNN. For the Left, they’re bound to go indiscriminately insane since it calls for a blanket ban on Muslim migrants for a four-month period, but a draft of the executive order seems to be pretty common sense, especially given the nations the Trump administration has selected to temporarily ban. At the earliest, the executive order could be signed by Friday. The language has not been finalized:

Continue reading here to see the language Townhall is posting.  And, see here the lack of knowledge the Trump team appears to have about other refugees of concern, namely the Burma/Bangladesh Rohingya.
Here, we have a report from CBS News posted just after midnight about what the draft executive order contains:

Go here to watch CAIR rage! The migration (the Hijra) is vital to their caliphate-building plans. http://www.cair.com/press-center/press-releases/14051-watch-cair-issues-statement-on-trump-s-planned-muslim-ban-executive-orders.html

The Associated Press obtained a draft of the executive order, which says that the president plans to suspend issuing visas for people from Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria or Yemen for at least 30 days. The order also shows that President Donald Trump intends to stop accepting Syrian refugees and suspend the United States’ broader refugee program for 120 days.

[….]

Mr. Trump has the authority to determine how many refugees are accepted annually and he can suspend the program at any time. Refugee processing was suspended in the immediate aftermath of the Sept. 11 attacks, restarting months later.

During the last budget year, the U.S. accepted 84,995 refugees, including 12,587 people from Syria and President Barack Obama had set the refugee limit for this budget year at 110,000.

Mr. Trump, according to his yet-to-be-signed executive order, will cut that program by more half to 50,000. The order said while the program is suspended, the U.S. may admit people on a case-by-case basis “when in the national interest” and the government would continue to process refugee requests from people claiming religious persecution, “provided that the religion….is a minority religion in the individual’s country.” That suggests that would allow the admission of Christians from Muslim-majority countries. [It would also allow Shiites from majority Sunni countries and vice-versa! Right?—-ed]

More here.

Do you see how this numbers game works?

Because Obama proposed 110,000 that becomes the benchmark!  So, if Trump sets the number at 50,000 (we already have 31,521 in this fiscal year as of today), Trump can claim this is a huge reduction and the Open borders gang can cry foul because they had their hearts set on 110,000 (and LOL! their budget dreams were set on that number too!).

As we reported yesterday! Obama had two years under 60,000 and Bush had at least 4 years under 50,000, so that number is not a great reduction!

See our previous post about the 512 refugees admitted in the last 24 hours!
Don’t miss Leo Hohmann at World Net Daily about CAIR crying foul because the Hijra to America might be disrupted!

Minnesota, no surprise highest Somali resettlement state in nation

For those of you in cities and states contemplating whether to ‘welcome’ refugees, remember this:  Once you have set up a program, there is no stopping it. The federal government looks to see if your community has a particular ethnic group growing and you then will get more of them. (Obviously, even if you have had a terror attack as St. Cloud did!)

st-cloud-mall-attack
Minnesota CAIR director worried that the September Islamic terror attack could cause blowback against Somalis in St. Cloud. Not to be deterred, the Obama State Department and Lutheran Social Services are still pouring Somalis in to St. Cloud. Photo: http://www.mprnews.org/story/2016/09/23/st-cloud-mall-stabbing-update

LOL! The feds want the refugees to be with their own folks, their own kind of people (never mind that that seems a bit racist to me!).
Since I was  having fun with numbers, see my previous post about how Somalis are being resettled at the fastest rate in US history, I thought I would have a look at where the 334 Somalis were resettled in Minnesota in the last 2 months.  So, here we go (Wrapsnet.org). Top two in red.

Burnsville (3)

Chaska (1)

Fairbault (1) typo?

Faribault (29)

Inver Grove Heights (6)

Mankato (4)

Marshall (11)

Minneapolis (164)

North Mankato (2)

Owatonna (2)

Rochester (15)

St. Cloud (57)

St. Joseph (1)

St. Paul (26)

Waite Park (1)

Willmar (11)

Many Somalis find work in meatpacking plants (which are luring them to the state!). When I made my summer swing to visit many meatpacking/manufacturing towns overrun with refugees, I stopped at a rest stop near Rochester, MN and I was shocked to see Muslim women praying on the lawn of the rest stop in the middle of lovely farm country stretching from Wisconsin to Minnesota.  I said to myself, I guess I am in Minnesota and my East Coast neighbors would not believe this!
One more thing, this story floating around over the last few days says Minnesota will get 2,500 total refugees this year (we assume they are using the standard fiscal year as we do).   At the rate of Somalis we are reporting here, that means that just over 2,000 of the 2,500 would be Somali. (If Trump doesn’t step in on January 21 and cut off the flow from Islamic terror-linked countries.)
By the way, most of our Somali refugees come through Kenya so I hope Trump’s people aren’t blindsided by that! Somalis are Somalis wherever in the world we find them.
***Update*** I just remembered this post I wrote in 2015 when I looked back for ten years at all the towns in Minnesota seeded with Somalis, click here.
