The Powerline blog is reporting that there is an update on the St. Paul Somali rape case. The refugee charged in a rape caught on tape last summer and subsequently released on bail is now back in police custody. He allegedly violated the condition of his release when he attempted to silence his victim.
A St. Paul rape suspect who was free on bail was thrown back in jail Monday after the victim testified that a friend of the suspect offered her a bribe to make the charges go away.
We first reported on this story back in August. See Somali rape case here. You might be interested in other posts in our category diversity’s dark side.
