Obama lied about his school years and the press shrugged, why the double standard for a conservative black man?

Update November 9th:  Go see this!  Nine more things Obama lied about in his life story and the MSM never said a word.

Remember this story, it was revealed in 2013 that Obama lied when he said he didn’t know that his illegal alien Uncle Omar was in the US.  If I recall from my reading in ‘Dreams from my father,’ Obama said he had no idea where Uncle O was.
As the press is busy on a witch hunt of a black conservative candidate for President—Ben Carson—they conducted no such inquiry into Obama’s Uncle Omar fabrication until Uncle Omar, under oath, confirmed they had actually lived together (before ‘Dreams….’ was written).
Ben Carson had a great question for the media yesterday—-why aren’t you demanding that Obama unseal his college and law school records?
(If I was a betting person, I would bet it’s because he went to college as Barry Soetoro, citizen of Indonesia (foreign student!)).

Obama and Obama
Obama and Obama

Many of us who read and wrote (for years) about holes in Obama’s life story are eager to see what else we will find out as Obama slips out of Washington in 2017.  I can’t wait to find out, and we will eventually, who in our so-called Washington leadership knew the truth all along!
From the 2013 Boston Globe story (Judy reminded me of the story today). A trip down memory lane:

President Obama acknowledged Thursday that he lived with his Kenyan uncle for a brief period in the 1980s while preparing to attend Harvard Law School, contradicting a statement more than two years ago that the White House had no record of the two ever meeting.

the other Barack

Their relationship came into question Tuesday at the deportation hearing of the president’s uncle, Onyango Obama, in Boston immigration court. His uncle had lived in the United States illegally since the 1970s and revealed for the first time in testimony that his famous nephew had stayed at his Cambridge apartment for about three weeks. At the time, Onyango Obama was here illegally and fighting deportation.

[….]

On Thursday, a White House official said the press office had not fully researched the relationship between the president and his uncle before telling the Globe in 2011 that it had no record of the two meeting. This time, press office staff members asked the president directly, which they said they had not done in 2011.

“The president first met Omar Obama when he moved to Cambridge for law school,” said White House spokesman Eric Schultz. “The president did stay with him for a brief period of time until his apartment was ready. After that, they saw each other once every few months, but after law school they fell out of touch. The president has not seen him in 20 years, has not spoken with him in 10.”

We covered the Uncle Omar story extensively, here.  And, a must read is Sally Jacobs’ (another Boston Globe reporter) book, The Other Barack’ which I found particularly revealing not so much about Barack Sr., but about the comings and goings of Ann Dunham.

Say NO to another “high-tech lynching” of a black conservative man by the Leftwing media!

Senator Grassley: Stop funding for Syrian resettlement until security is assured

This is a meaningful initiative, if only more US Senators and Members of Congress had sufficient backbone to call for it—stop the funding!
From Press TV (Iranian TV):

Chuck Grassley
Senator Charles Grassley (R-Iowa) knows what needs to be done—stop the funding!

Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley is persuading his colleagues to limit funding to be sued [used?–ed] for bringing refugees from Syria into the United States over security concerns.

In a letter Grassley sent to Sens. Thad Cochran (R-Miss.) and Barbara Mikulski (D-Md.), he demanded that they impose “firm limits” on allocation of funding for refugee resettlement.

“I urge that you, as part of the appropriations legislation before the committee, require, as a condition for any funding for refugee resettlement for Syrian refugees, a comprehensive plan on how security will be achieved,” Grassley wrote. “Furthermore, not one dollar should be expended until stringent parameters for vetting these refugees are established.”

[….]

He is now luring Cochran and Mikulski into including a provision in any spending bill, which would require homeland security and intelligence officials to sign off on the plan to bring in Syrian refugees.

Senators Leahy and Graham want more money, here!

In addition, Sens. Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.) and Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) have also rolled out legislation, which would give the Obama administration an extra $1 billion in emergency funding.

Earlier this year, FBI Director James Comey told lawmakers that there are “gaps” in the screening process for letting Syrians to come to the US.

Go here for more at Breitbart, including a copy of the letter.

He [Grassley] urges that limitations be places on the fiscal year 2016 spending measures to ensure the safety of the homeland.

Can Germany put the Genie back in the bottle?

It’s doubtful even if the New York Times says German leaders are working on it….

More Invasion of Europe news!
Before even reading this below, go here, and have a look at the UN High Commissioner for Refugee’s interactive map which shows the daily flow of migrants into Europe.  It is absolutely fascinating to see! 7,315 were crossing into Germany from Austria just yesterday alone!  Two days before that (on Wednesday) it was 9,930.
And, so how do Germany’s politicians plan to get the message out to those on the move, and do they really think that even if the thousands arriving daily on Europe’s shores are going to hear the news (do they read the NYT?), what are the odds that they are going to say oopsie! and turn around?  See ‘Is the end nigh?’
From the NYT:

BERLIN — The German government is considering restoring controls on Syrian refugees arriving here after fleeing war in their homeland, and will significantly tighten rules allowing refugees to bring their families here, the Interior Ministry said on Friday.

The announcement followed weeks of mounting doubt about whether Germany has the capacity to handle almost 800,000 refugees who have arrived so far this year and who could total more than a million by year’s end.

Chancellor Angela Merkel and her government have come under fire at home and abroad, accused of triggering the influx of refugees from Syria and elsewhere when the German office overseeing migration said in August that it would no longer check Syrian arrivals. Those pursuing asylum had already been arriving in Central Europe in ever-increasing numbers earlier in the summer, but the pace quickened after that statement.

Are Miliband and Albright purposefully misleading the media about numbers of refugees coming to the US?

David Miliband is the former British Foreign Secretary being handsomely paid to head a US refugee resettlement contracting agency and Madeleine Albright was Bill Clinton’s Secretary of State, and here they jointly bemoan the state of affairs in the world regarding mostly Muslims from the Middle East wanting to come to American towns and cities or to the welfare states of Europe.

No wonder everyone is confused by the numbers as these two misspeak here at BuzzFeed as well. (Emphasis is mine.)

NEW YORK — The United States has “not properly understood the breadth and depth” of the ongoing refugee crisis, former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright told BuzzFeed News on Friday, calling recent pledges to take in more refugees inadequate.

[….]

“So I’m sorry that we’re saying to everybody ‘do more’ and then we’re only taking in 100,000 over five years, when I actually think we could do more,” she continued, referring to an announcement from Secretary of State John Kerry in September.

100,000 over five years?  Miliband knows exactly what the proposed numbers are, so I’m beginning to wonder if there is a purposeful attempt to confuse the public, or do they know something we don’t know?
In recent years the Obama Administration has invited 70,000 refugees from around the world to live in America.  For FY2016 (which got underway on Oct. 1) he has increased the number to 85,000 with 10,000 of those supposedly to be reserved for Syrians (mostly Muslims).
Obama says he wants to increase the number from 85,000 to 100,000 (from all countries) for the last year (FY2017) for which he will have an opportunity to set the level.   Miliband and his fellow contractors wanted Obama to admit 100,000 Syrians (on top of about 70,000 other refugees) this fiscal year. So where did the 100,000 over five years come from?  No wonder the media is having a tough time sorting out the numbers (I see some crazy numbers out there!)!
Then this moaning about Europe…. where is the compassion?  (Emphasis below is mine.)

Albright’s statement came during a sit-down interview in the BuzzFeed office alongside David Miliband, the British former Labour Party politician and current head of the International Rescue Committee, to discuss the influx that has seen more than 218,000 people attempt to enter Europe by sea in October alone, the same number that made the voyage in all of 2014 combined.

Albright says it’s all about the economy which keeps Angela Merkel from beating back the far-right.  Really, nothing to do with the loss of culture and country German citizens are experiencing?

“It also seems to me there was more of a sense of compassion than there is now,” Albright said. “I think part of what’s happened is that the European Union has been under stress” due to the financial crisis, she continued, which makes it difficult for German Chancellor Angela Merkel and others do deal with backlash from their far-right.

White House wants to speed up Syrian resettlement, wants more than 10,000 asap!

Obama doesn’t have much time left—he has to get as many refugees resettled (seeded!) in your towns and cities as he possibly can before January 2017.
Here is Reuters yesterday on news that the US State Department is gearing up to open more processing centers in the Middle East so as to speed up the relocation of more Syrians to your towns.

WASHINGTON, Nov 6 (Reuters) – The Obama administration is moving to increase and accelerate the number of Syrian refugees who might be admitted into the United States by opening new screening outposts in Iraq and Lebanon, administration officials told Reuters on Friday.

ABD Dışişleri Bakanlığı Nüfus, Göçmenler ve Göçten Sorumlu Müsteşar Yardımcısı Anne Richard, ABD Büyükelçiği'nde Suriyeli sığınmacılarla ilgili Kuveyt, Lübnan ve Türkiye'deki temasları hakkında bilgi verdi. (Binnur Ege Gürün - Anadolu Ajansı)
Asst. Secretary of State for PRM, Anne Richard, is the likely official who “spoke on the condition of anonymity.” Why not just speak on the record?

The move comes after President Barack Obama pledged in September to admit an additional 10,000 refugees in 2016 from Syria, torn by four years of civil war and disorder.

The U.S. State Department confirmed the plans to open a refugee settlement processing center in Erbil, Iraq, before the end of 2015, and to resume refugee processing in Lebanon in early 2016, said spokeswoman Danna Van Brandt.

The White House would not say how many additional refugees it may take in beyond the 10,000, but two senior administration officials said they are seeking ways to increase the number.

“We want to be in a place where we can push out really ambitious goals,” said one of the officials, who spoke to Reuters on the condition of anonymity.

The State Department runs nine screening centers worldwide that serve as meeting points for refugees and U.S. Department of Homeland Security employees who have to decide who is suitable for resettlement in the United States.

And get this, we will re-open the processing center in Lebanon (guess those security concerns have disappeared)!

Homeland Security workers stopped traveling to Lebanon to meet with refugees when the facility there closed over a year ago due to security concerns.

Wouldn’t you like to be a fly on the wall as the US Department of Homeland Security (FBI) says Syrians can’t be properly screened yet Homeland Security is speeding up the process of getting those not properly screened in here faster to satisfy the White House and UN/US State Department and the contractors.
