Message to new readers

I’m still traveling so haven’t had time to post or to answer most of my e-mails, so apologies for that.  I can see this morning that we have many many new readers so I decided to quickly put up some information that I do post from time to time to help you get the most out of your visits to RRW.
No weekly roundup this week, but our previous post about Northern Idaho is definitely number one!

For new readers….

This is where you can find information (in addition to our fact sheet). We have over 7,000 posts.

*  See our categories (left hand sidebar, now a drop-down)
*  Also, we have a great search function and since the categories go all the way back to our first posts more than eight years ago, use the search window with a few key words.  You might want to first try your city, state, or country to see what we have reported from there over the years.
Readers from Europe should search for key words ‘Invasion of Europe’ for all of our many posts on the migration crisis on the Continent.
By the way, our category entitled ‘where to find information’ is filled with reports and documents, but with 387 posts archived there, it is pretty unwieldy now.  But, please definitely have a look there and scroll down through recent posts archived there.
Past weekly roundups can be found in our category entitled ‘blogging.’
If you wish to be notified when we post, consider subscribing or follow us on twitter (@refugeewatcher) or facebook (RefugeeInfoResource).  ‘Like us’ on facebook! (We are no longer posting every story we write at RRW to facebook so as not to overload your facebook feed either.)  We also have some content on facebook that isn’t posted here first, so like us and follow us (I do have a volunteer helper at facebook—Kelly Monroe Kullberg).
I’m trying to be better about tweeting, so please follow me!  I’ve even begun displaying my twitter feed in the right hand side bar here at RRW.
And apologies to all who e-mail and comment, sorry if I don’t respond much (know that I do try), there are just not enough hours in my day!  Remember RRW is not an organization, it is a news outlet with one reporter—me!
Thanks to all of you for following RRW.  The subject is on fire (maybe you have noticed)!

RRW Weekly roundup for the week ending September 26, 2015

I’m very pleased to report that as we wrap up September 2015, we have more than doubled (almost tripled) our daily readership and thus you are making September our top month since we began writing RRW in July 2007.
The issue of refugee resettlement and its impact on American communities is now being widely examined and questioned by American citizens who had no clue this has been going on for 35 years! And, thus more and more people are hungry for information.
For our thousands of new readers, our weekly roundup is an opportunity to tell all of you which posts were the most read, and from which countries most of our readers hailed from.  It is also a place where we tell you how to make the most out of your visits here. Since we are only 15 posts shy of hitting the 7,000 posts mark, there is a lot cataloged on these pages and we want you to be able to find it.
As a matter of fact, because there are so many new readers, I might repost some stories from past years, ones I consider very significant.

Top Three Posts of last week are these.

(See our right hand sidebar for what is trending right now—top daily posts.)

1)Trump: NO Syrian refugees, take care of Americans first!

2)Grassroots campaign under way to prevent Obama’s plan for Syrian refugee resettlement to go forward in CR

3)Breaking: Ben Carson says a Muslim should not be President of the US; CAIR comes out with both barrels

By the way, we have a facebook page with almost 8,000 likes.  This post on Ben Carson reached 22,000 people.  A lot of you remind me that so far Carson hasn’t been good on immigration, however, his knowledgeable and resolute stance on Sharia law tells me he might be moved on immigration issues once he understands them better. I’m guessing that Carson is not ruled by emotion, but by his intellect.  And, it is pretty clear where mass migration of third worlders into advanced countries will take us.

Top Ten Countries from which readers arrived at RRW during the past week (excluding the US):

Canada

UK

Australia

Germany

Netherlands

Finland

Sweden

France

New Zealand

South Africa

For New Readers:  Go here to a recent weekly roundup and learn about how to get the most out of your visits to RRW. Reminder that we are on facebook and twitter.
Let me be clear to new readers, it is just me here; RRW is not an organization with staff (with LOL! interns), with salaries, offices and such.  Our mission is to try to get you the important news every day on a subject that I believe is the most important one the US has faced since its founding.  What we decide now about immigration, about numbers and from where the immigrants will come, will determine whether America and Western Civilization itself lives or dies—I believe it is that important! Europe is just a little ahead of us in committing suicide, so we watch it carefully.
I apologize again and again that I can’t read all of your e-mails, I am trying harder, but it is just that there aren’t enough hours in the day!
One more thing:  My introductory youtube video is now at 1.6 million views.  Watch it here.

RRW Weekly roundup for week ending Sept. 19, 2015

First I want to thank the RCUSA, the federal refugee contractors and all of those making a living in (or off of!) the refugee industry, you have succeeded in drawing national attention to the enormous costs, the secrecy and the decisions about how refugees (who will come to the US permanently) are selected by your demand that the US admit 65,000-100,000 Syrian refugees (95% so far Muslims) to America in the next year.
By your blatant greediness (more refugees = more money and more power for you), you are now galvanizing the American public (people who for 35 years didn’t know what you were doing) into action.  Citizens are researching, organizing, calling on legislators and reading RRW because they don’t want to see America changed by you, by changing the people!
Our readership has virtually doubled since Labor Day as a result of the growing demand for information. If things continue as they are we might triple our readership by the end of the month!

For grassroots!

For all of the grassroots activists getting to work where you live, this movement, whatever you want to call it, is young and there are many of you searching for a place in it.
I want to say first and foremost that there are several national groups getting to work and each has a slightly different strategy about how they would like to proceed.  There is no one national leader telling everyone what to do, nor should there be in my opinion.  And, most importantly, there is no right single strategy, at this time, to solve the problem.  We are still at the stage of bringing the issue to local, state and national attention.
Each national group, and each local group must proceed in a way that suits their members and their location in the country (states vary in how the refugee program is run) using the particular talents they have available to them.
If anyone would like to help plan a national strategy by writing a one-pager with your ideas, I promise to forward it to leading activists in the groups listed below (send to my e-mail with a subject line: my strategy suggestions).
It is my opinion that on the national level at this time (there are no other bills anyway!) the bill introduced by Rep. Brian Babin (now co-sponsored by 10 other Members of Congress) is a good vehicle to rally national attention.  There will also be additional rallying efforts soon to try to bring national attention to the potential crisis the Obama administration may visit on us if he opens the floodgates (as his friends in the No Borders movement are telling him to do) to thousands of Syrian refugees. And, I assure you Obama is not going to make the offer exclusively to the persecuted Christians.
That said, I’ve had a few e-mails from people asking me to tell them where to go to get involved.  If you are already a member of one of the national-level immigration control groups—FAIR, NumbersUSA, or Center for Immigration Studies—contact them to see how to help.  American Congress for Truth members check with your national leadership.  I’ve been involved with the efforts of the Center for Security Policy (they published my book) which are being spearheaded by James Simpson (here is a piece by Simpson just last week at American Thinker).
In addition, the website VDARE publishes material almost every day on some aspect of the refugee program in addition to news on immigration generally, so if you are looking for another place for information, visit VDARE.
As for me, my job is to bring you the news as best I can, not to tell you what to do. Remember, as a blogger, I don’t work for anyone.  I try to take as many radio interviews as possible, but am not able to travel to all the places readers ask me to, or otherwise I get no blogging done!
If you are unaffiliated with a group mentioned above (or even if you are!), you can sign up to be involved with the Center for Security Policy by clicking here.  Contact Jim Simpson through the Center for Security Policy or by e-mailing him at resettlementresister@gmail.com  and find a Pocket of Resistance’ near you.
And, finally, PLEASE SIGN THE PETITION!  CLICK HERE.  How wonderful, 22 Aussies and 15 Europeans have so far signed in solidarity with you!
Enough said……

Here are our Three Top Posts of the last week.

Daily top posts are in the right hand sidebar.  The first below is from 2009!  Go figure! In one of those internet mysteries, this 5-year-old post exploded through social media this past week.

1)Somali ‘youths’ randomly attacking and robbing people in Lewiston, ME

2)Hungarian Catholic Bishop tells Pope he is wrong, not refugees but invaders!

3)UNHCR data confirms it: 75% of the so-called refugees arriving in Europe are MEN  (by the way the UN has changed its data and now says 69% are men, here.)

Here are the Top Ten Countries from which readers arrived at RRW this past week (excluding the US):

UK

Canada

Australia

Germany

Malta (welcome back to the Top Ten!)

Netherlands

Poland

Finland

Sweden

Ireland

For New Readers!

Go here (to a recent weekly roundup) and scroll down for information on how to get the most from your visits to RRW.
As I do every week, I apologize if I don’t get to all of your e-mails, it is just me here (no staff, no interns).  I don’t want to appear rude or unresponsive; there are just not enough hours in the day!

RRW Weekly roundup for week ending September 12, 2015

It really was my plan to get this up over the weekend, but internet connection problems are slowing me down.  That also means that I am later than usual posting your comments and answering e-mail and that is a shame at this incredibly important time—the issue is exploding worldwide!
Our readership has grown so much since Labor Day that we have already, by this past Saturday (12 days into the month), passed our best month ever in over eight years of writing this blog.  Thanks for reading RRW.
As you can see I’m trying to keep readers informed about what is going on in the world as the Invasion of Europe is on steroids now and at the same time trying to help the growing ‘Pockets of Resistance’ in the US find information they need to stand up to the bullies from Washington.   Some of you might be bored with posts about the details of refugee law and such, but others of you need to know how this is being ramrodded through by the Administration (with far Left groups and resettlement contractors) on to unsuspecting communities in 49 states (Wyoming is still free!).
Congress, so far, is doing little and is possibly even breaking the law by not doing its due diligence envisioned by the original Refugee Act of 1980.  See yesterday’s post on hearings, more to come!
Be sure to see my Youtube video about the Senate Jihad Caucus, here.  And my first Youtube is now at almost 1.5 million views!
Now to the Top Three Posts of last week (top daily posts are in the right hand side bar):

1)UNHCR data confirms it: 75% of the so-called refugees arriving in Europe are MEN

2)Dead toddler’s father wanted to go to Europe to get new teeth!

3)Germany: Surprise! (not!) ISIS fighter caught posing as asylum seeker

The Top Ten Countries from which visitors arrived at RRW are as follows (excluding the US):

UK

Australia

Canada

Poland (exciting addition to the Top Ten, welcome!)

Germany

Netherlands

Ireland

New Zealand

Sweden

France

For New Readers:  Go here to last week’s roundup and learn about how to get the most out of your visits to RRW (we are just short of the 7,000 posts mark).  Reminder that we are on facebook and twitter.
Let me be clear to new readers, it is just me here, your humble blogger, RRW is not an organization with staff (with LOL! interns), with salaries, offices and such.  Our mission is to try to get you the important news every day on a subject that I believe is the most important one the US has faced since its founding.  What we decide now about immigration, about numbers and from where they come, will determine whether America and Western Civilization itself lives or dies—I believe it is that important! RRW Weekly roundup for week ending September 5, 2015

It would be an understatement to say that this issue, which has been bubbling just under the surface for the last eight years I’ve followed it (and for years before that I am sure), is finally making center stage thanks to the migrant invasion of Europe we are watching before our very eyes!
I didn’t get around to my weekly roundup over the weekend because writing about the news is so much more fun!
However, I know some of you look for the roundup, so here it is!   Also, it is an opportunity for me to give some instructions to our many new readers about how RR works, where to find information and so forth.
If things continue like this we will be breaking all records in terms of readership this month.
By the way, our original youtube video is now up to 1.4 million views.  65,000! Syrians is at 12,600 and it needs to get around more because the lobbying push is on by the resettlement contractors to get that many or more into the US before Obama leaves office!

Don’t forget!  Please sign the petition!

Here are the Top Three Posts of last week (top daily posts in the right hand sidebar):

1)Why should US/Europe take Syrian refugees while Gulf Arab states take ZERO?

2)Our fact sheet (which needs updating!)

3)Petition to the White House: Bring in 65,000 mostly Muslim Syrians to live permanently in US!

Here are the Top Ten Countries from which readers arrived at RRW during last week:

Canada

Australia

For new readers!

Since we get new readers every day, here is my usual spiel with two points I need to continue to make:
First, we do screen our comments (sometimes I don’t get to them right away!) and I don’t post any that threaten any kind of violence or ones filled with foul language.  An occasional expletive might slip in if the comment is otherwise a good one.  You are always free to disagree with our point of view if you follow those two simple rules.

And the other thing I want to mention is about e-mails that come to you every time we post.  They come directly from wordpress to subscribers.  We don’t send out e-mails.  So, if we are posting too much for your e-mail inbox, then just unsubscribe and visit RRW when you have the time I understand completely about too many e-mails!  You might want to simply follow us on twitter or on facebook (below).
This is where you can find information (in addition to our fact sheet). We have over 6,800 posts.

By the way, our category entitled ‘where to find information’ is filled with reports and documents, but with 377 posts archived there, it is pretty unwieldy now.

And apologies to all who e-mail and comment, sorry if I don’t respond much, there are just not enough hours in my day!
Thanks to all of you for following RRW.  The subject is on fire (maybe you have noticed)!
P.S.  I am off to DC shortly and will be gone until late on Tuesday, September 8th.  I’ll be making a presentation on this topic to a large group.  I’m mentioning this because I will be even worse than usual at answering anything or posting comments.
