Was “man” Who Slaughtered Teen in North Dakota a Refugee?

That is the question I’ve had more than once in the last couple of days.

If you don’t know what happened see my post yesterday at ‘Frauds and Crooks’ here:

Fargo, North Dakota: “Man” Attacks Skateboarder in Deadly Knife Assault

You will see that I put the word “man” in quotes  and that is because that is what the media does, use the word man, when the alleged killer, rapist or criminal is of a race or nationality that doesn’t fit the corporate media message that diversity is beautiful.

But, I can’t always fault reporters who don’t dig deeper because frankly unless the man accused of a crime mentions his immigration status (often as part of his defense) there is almost no way for citizens to know if someone is here via the US Refugee Admissions Program, Temporary Protected Status, Special Immigrant Visa, the Green Card Lottery, as an Unaccompanied Alien Child, or on a worker visa, and the list goes on.

Or, is the perp a run-of-the mill border jumper or did he overstay a visa and just disappear into America?

The Trump Administration ended our ability to learn more about the refugees coming to your towns and cities.

For years we could at least make an educated guess if a criminal in the news was a refugee.

We could narrow the field because the US State Department had a data clearinghouse where we could see what nationalities refugees were and where they were being placed right down to the city in which they were resettled.

Limited information is available, but that extensive data is no longer accessible to the public.

By the way, as for the creep in North Dakota, Heavy says there is no information on where he is from (I guessed Liberia in my post):

According to police, Kollie did not have a permanent address and information about his family and other details of his background were not immediately available.

I’m thinking that the average American, not an immigration policy wonk like you and me, doesn’t care which “program” admitted the criminal, most people just want less of them admitted.

However, if we are ever going to improve immigration in America we need to know where the holes are where criminals, terrorists and the mentally ill and others who just want to suck off the US taxpayers are getting through the system and arriving in places like Fargo, North Dakota.

I’m dreaming!

I’ve said this before, but how about a federal law that requires all law enforcement to publish the immigration status of any criminal charged with a felony?  And, not just whether they are legally here or not, but through which route they came to be living in the community where they have committed a serious crime.

Back to my headline question….

The Leftwing media (even law enforcement) expects us to stay silent when they keep quiet about the immigration status of a criminal.

I will bet law enforcement in Fargo knows Kollie’s status and maybe an enterprising local reporter will unearth the information. He could, after all, be a born and bred African-American.

But, as long as no one is confirming if Kollie is a refugee (or not a refugee) from West Africa, then go ahead and call him a refugee!

After all, everyone is a refugee these days!

I am referring to the Leftwing propagandists and all of the political leaders here and around the world who have used the refugee label to put a positive spin on anyone on the move for any reason anywhere.

If we call all the evil doers refugees, then maybe, just maybe, the need for clarity in the use of the word will dawn on them!

UACs to Tennessee Update: Republican Lawmaker Welcomes Them!

This is our problem—Republicans soft on not just legal immigration, but on illegal immigration too!

Lately I have been seeing news that as conservatives are escaping ‘woke’ states and looking for a safe state in which to make their home, Tennessee is mentioned as an option.

Well, not so fast!  Don’t assume that just because Tennessee is the home of country music that it leaders are somehow conservative America Firsters!

It seems to me that they have a basket full of RINO Republicans that you wouldn’t know about unless you read Tennessee’s Dailyrollcall.com.

And, that reminds me, where is your state blog or website that is willing to go after state and local Republicans who have joined the Democrats’ death wish for America by opening our borders to all comers?

This is an update of my recent posts about how the Unaccompanied Alien Children (UACs) are being secretively placed in Tennessee.

Tennessee Republicans Blustering about UAC Drop in the State

The Republican-led Tennessee General Assembly is forming a “study committee” to see what they might do about the dumping of UACs on the state.

In other words, lawmakers are pretending to do something about the problem in order to hoodwink the citizenry.

From the Dailyrollcall:

Bill Lee and Todd Gardenhire – The Foxes Guarding Our Immigration Hen House

Republican Governor Bill Lee thumbed his nose at Trump’s efforts to give states more say when refugees are placed by the feds in a state.

It’s bad enough that Bill Lee wants more legal immigration to Tennessee in the form of refugee resettlement. Never mind that it forces state taxpayers to pay both the state and federal cost of the voluntary federal program. Never mind that it violates the Tenth Amendment. And, never mind that it illegally usurps the exclusive power of the state legislature to appropriate state funds, and these aren’t even the worst aspects of Bill Lee’s avid support for the federal program.

Even more odious, is Todd Gardenhire’s push for more illegal immigration to Tennessee even if it means encouraging more human smuggling and trafficking of children 18 years old and younger which is more often than not, financed by the parents who themselves are in the U.S. in violation of the immigration laws.

Sen. Gardenhire of Chattanooga is obviously willing to help finance the Mexican cartels trafficking children while hiding behind his Christian zeal.

Gardenhire has long been a cheerleader for illegal immigration to Tennessee going so far as to adopt the left’s politically deceptive label of “undocumented” instead of the accurate statutory label of illegal alien.

Gardenhire has tried four times to magnetize the state by rewarding illegal alien students with taxpayer subsidized in-state college tuition. When he couldn’t get his first bill passed, he tried rewarding the recipients of Obama’s unconstitutional DACA program with in-state college tuition. And when that failed, he tried broadening the scope of his next bill to cover UACs – Unaccompanied Alien Children who generate huge profits for the cartels and other human smugglers.

The UACs enter the country illegally and Gardenhire believes they are the model students Tennessee taxpayers should support.

Gardenhire gets thoroughly worked over! Continue reading here.

And, I will ask again: Where is your state website or blog willing to do what the Dailyrollcall is doing in Tennessee?

Data Watch: Biden on Track for Lowest Annual Number of Refugees Admitted to the US

That is likely because the administration is too busy admitting illegal aliens by the hundreds of thousands.

Don’t get me wrong, I am not upset by potentially the lowest resettlement year in the history of the four-decades-old program, but it is puzzling that he and Kamala went through the charade of setting a legal refugee admissions ceiling of 62,500 to be admitted by September 30th when they struggled in May to admit 916 refugees (271 were admitted in April).

For this fiscal year, limited data available at the Refugee Processing Center was updated yesterday to show that with the 916 added in May our total for this fiscal year now stands at 3,250 legal refugees.

If that rate continues Biden beats Trump to the lowest annual admissions since 1980.

Trump admitted 11,814 in his last full fiscal year in the White House

https://refugeeresettlementwatch.org/2014/10/23/congolese-refugee-women-in-america-need-costly-mental-health-care-50000-in-the-pipeline/

By the way, at a quick glance down the admissions list, it looks like the Africans from the DR Congo still lead in the resettlement sweeps.

In 2013 Obama promised the United Nations we would take 50,000 from the DR Congo, a number we have far surpassed now (the extensive data we could mine for such information is now gone).

However, as of last July we were up to 74,000 from the DR Congo and they are still coming!

Texas is the top ‘welcoming’ state and it has been for years!

Here are the top ten states so far in FY21:

Texas (100)

California (72)

North Carolina (56)

Michigan (53)

New York (49)

Georgia (46)

Kentucky (45)

Ohio (41)

Virginia (37)

Illinois (34)

Getting ready for October!

Right now, the big nine refugee resettlement contractors (below) are out scouring America for new resettlement sites so that when October first comes around they will be ready to move 125,000 impoverished people (Harris/Biden have promised) from the Middle East, Africa and Asia into Anytown, USA where they can gain a foothold and open an office.

You need to be alert for any sign that the contractors and their hundred or so subcontractors are preparing their paperwork for your town or city (it is called an R & P Abstract) to open an office where you live.  This is the time of the year they get those documents ready to submit to the US State Department so they can get their allotment of paying “clients” (aka refugees) for the new fiscal year.

And, incidentally, once refugee offices are open, I’ve noticed that illegal aliens tend to congregate in those towns and cities as well.

Your job is to make political noise if they have targeted your town!  The only hope I see is if enough political turmoil is created, they may move on to a town/county/city they can pushover more easily.

Hold them off for a year or so and then work like hell to get the Dems out of the White House.

Here are the nine Foreigners First! organizations that are changing America by changing the people.

(LOL! For my faithful readers you probably wonder why I keep showing this list.  I was told once that people need to see something seven times before they remember it.  Well I figure seven times seven is better than a measly seven!)

Harris/Biden “farming out” Asylum System to NGOs

In a sketchy scheme, six non-governmental organizations have been assigned the task of sorting through the tens of thousands of asylum seekers that President Trump successfully kept in Mexico (so they wouldn’t bring the Chinese Virus into the US as they waited for their asylum claims to be processed) to determine which ones get to enter the US now.

But, critics, like a top ACLU attorney says:

“The government cannot farm out the asylum system.”

Two of the six non-profits who will be doing the choosing are long-time refugee resettlement contractors: the International Rescue Committee and HIAS (formerly the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society).

The whole set-up sounds illegal to me!

Where is Stephen Miller and his new legal group?

From the Associated Press, here at the Baltimore Sun:

Biden administration taps humanitarian groups to pick asylum-seekers to allow into country

SAN DIEGO — The Biden administration has quietly tasked six humanitarian groups with recommending which migrants should be allowed to stay in the U.S. instead of being rapidly expelled from the country under federal pandemic-related powers that block people from seeking asylum.

The groups will determine who is most vulnerable in Mexico, and their criteria has not been made public. It comes as large numbers of people are crossing the southern border and as the government faces intensifying pressure to lift the public health powers instituted by former President Donald Trump and kept in place by President Joe Biden during the coronavirus pandemic.

Several members of the consortium spoke to The Associated Press about the criteria and provided details of the system that have not been previously reported. The government is aiming to admit to the country up to 250 asylum-seekers a day who are referred by the groups and is agreeing to that system only until July 31. By then, the consortium hopes the Biden administration will have lifted the public health rules, though the government has not committed to that.

So far, a total of nearly 800 asylum-seekers have been let in since May 3, and members of the consortium say there is already more demand than they can meet.

Think about this, three of the organizations are not even US-based organizations!

So we have foreign non-profit groups deciding who can enter the US?

The groups have not been publicly identified except for the International Rescue Committee, a global relief organization. The others are London-based Save the Children; two U.S.-based organizations, HIAS and Kids in Need of Defense; and two Mexico-based organizations, Asylum Access and the Institute for Women in Migration, according to two people with direct knowledge who spoke on condition of anonymity because the information was not intended for public release.

How did the Harris/Biden gang decide who would play God? It is a secret!

Critics of the new selection processes say too much power is vested in a small number of organizations and that the effort is shrouded in secrecy without a clear explanation of how the groups were chosen. Critics also say there are no assurances that the most vulnerable or deserving migrants will be chosen to seek asylum.

Some consortium members are concerned that going public may cause their offices in Mexico to be mobbed by asylum-seekers, overwhelming their tiny staffs and exposing them to potential threats and physical attacks from extortionists and other criminals.

Lee Gelernt

ACLU attorney Lee Gelernt said advocacy groups are in “a very difficult position because they need to essentially rank the desperation” of people, but he insisted it was temporary. The government, he said, “cannot farm out the asylum system.”

Migration experts not involved in the process have questioned how the groups determine who is eligible.

“It has been murky,” said Jessica Bolter, an analyst at the nonpartisan Migration Policy Institute who believes the administration is trying to quietly be humane without encouraging more people to come, a balancing act she doubts will succeed.

More here.

Just imagine the potential for corruption with this secretive hairbrained scheme.

Heaven help us if this is a sample of Harris at work as she leads on the border crisis.

Biden Expected to Tap Julieta Valls Noyes (Who?) to Head Refugee Program at State Department

Noyes, a career diplomat, seems a surprising pick.

I was fully expecting a hardened Leftwing ideologue like Obama’s former Asst. Secretary of State for Population, Refugees and Migration (PRM), Anne Richard, or possibly the insider Lawrence Bartlett, a bureaucrat, who wouldn’t have a long learning curve.

And, then another likely choice could have been Mark Hetfield of HIAS (formerly the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society), but he would have to take a hefty pay cut if selected and confirmed.

I expected Anne Richard to be back joining the others of Obama’s orbit populating the O-man’s third term.

Indeed the lobbying arm of the refugee industry was pushing hard for someone with “robust experience” in the complex workings of the US Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP) so they can immediately get to work to bring in as many refugees as possible before Trump, or someone with Trump’s concerns about mass immigration, returns to the White House.

Know that President Trump never filled this position and he likely would have not been able to get someone (who might do any good for us) confirmed.

Julieta Valls Noyes

Of course, it is possible that Ambassador Noyes is experienced with the USRAP, but I’ve never heard of her.  And, maybe that is the point—Biden wants to get someone past the Senate confirmation that looks and sounds reasonable.

LOL! But that can’t make the refugee pushers happy unless they plan to manipulate her as they did George Bush’s recess appointment Ellen Sauerbrey who they came to love.

Here is Foreign Policy on Biden’s expected choice to head PRM:

Biden to Tap Career Diplomat as Top Official on Refugee Policy

U.S. President Joe Biden is expected to name three new nominees to senior diplomatic and foreign aid positions, including the top State Department official on refugee issues, a White House official told Foreign Policy.

Julieta Valls Noyes, a veteran career diplomat, is expected to be nominated as the assistant secretary of state for population, refugees, and migration—a senior post that could play a key role in the Biden administration’s efforts to reverse Trump-era sharp restrictions on the number of refugees entering the United States. Noyes, the acting director of the State Department’s Foreign Service Institute and former ambassador to Croatia, is a first-generation American whose parents entered the United States as refugees from Cuba.

[….]

If confirmed by the Senate, all three nominees would join agencies widely perceived as hollowed out and damaged by politicization and mismanagement under former President Donald Trump.

The State Department’s top post overseeing refugee issues was left unfilled during the Trump administration’s four years in power, though lower-level officials assumed the job in an acting capacity.

Several senior career diplomats in the Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration who defended refugees were reassigned or temporarily sidelined during a shake-up in 2018 as the Trump administration worked to slash refugee admissions to record lows.

Refugee lobbyists at the Refugee Council USA wanted someone with “deep understanding” of “complex issues.”  See their letter to Biden here.

Nothing less than “robust experience” is acceptable.  (I want to barf every time they use the word “robust!”)

Refugee advocates had been urging Biden for several weeks to swiftly nominate someone to the population, refugees, and migration assistant secretary role. In April, John Slocum, interim executive director of Refugee Council USA, a nonprofit advocacy organization, sent Biden a letter obtained by Politico urging him to pick an assistant secretary “who has a deep understanding of the complex issues surrounding forced displacement, refugee resettlement, and other forms of humanitarian protection.”

More here.

Checking out Noyes’ wikipedia page we learn this interesting nugget.

She is the daughter of Cuban refugees and we know most Cubans sensibly loathe communism and loved Donald Trump in 2020.

She also has strong (we might say robust!) feelings about the Islamic State as well. Here in 2014:

“The financing of this barbaric organisation allows it to continue its operations. What we have to do is degrade its abilities and ultimately to destroy it.”[7]

Hmmmm!  Sounds like something Donald Trump would say.

If confirmed, the biggest problem she could have is to avoid being rolled by the career bureaucrats and their contractor pals***.

As soon as the contractors begin to weigh-in, we will have a better idea of who this woman is and how she might run the program as Biden promises it will soon be on steroids to admit 125,000 refugees beginning on October first.

***In case you are new to RRW, here are all of the nine contractors that have monopolized all refugee distribution in the US for decades.

They worked to ‘elect’ Biden/Harris and lobby for open borders.  As taxpayers you pay them millions annually to change America by changing the people.

Two of the contractors, the USCCB and Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service are also paid to find locations for the Unaccompanied Alien Children.

At this very moment they are all out scouting for new, fresh territory in which to place their refugee clients.  See Winchester, VA.

Foreigners First! is their motto!
