They are at it again! “Active Voice” promotes another immigrant propaganda film; will air on Al Jazeera

Longtime readers may remember “Active Voice” as the Far Left/Open borders promoters of that propaganda film about Shelbyville, TN which portrayed local critics of the growing Somali population there as a bunch of redneck boobs who eventually saw the light and reached out with “welcoming” arms to the Africans drawn there by Tyson Foods (looking for cheap legal laborers with the help of the US State Department).

The US State Department even showed the Shelbyville film throughout Africa and Europe!

This is how the Left does it!  Active Voice makes or uses a ‘diversity is beautiful’ film to be shown on Al Jazeera and in your local schools, and they build a whole public relations campaign around it.  Behind it all are one-worlders (Soros!) whose goal it is to eliminate borders throughout the world and to provide slave laborers to their big business buddies as a side benefit.

Here is an idea, let’s make a film about the brutal Utah murder case and build a PR campaign around it!   We could call it Beware immigrant rapists, killers and crooks among us!  Time for us to tell “stories” too!  Our message would be to strengthen our sovereignty and preserve our culture by making it more difficult to get access to America.

Speaking of crooks, I’ve got another juicy immigrant food stamp fraud story to get to this morning.

Soros strikes again with Open Society report on Somalis in Norway

We told you previously that George Soros’ Open Society Foundation is doing a seven-city tour of Europe to report on how Somalis are doing in their new homes.  Our earlier report on their recommendations for Helsinki is here.

The seven cities are:  Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Malmo, Leicester, London, and Oslo.

And, why they picked Somalis of all the immigrant groups flooding Europe, I don’t know.  My guess is that since the Somalis can be fractious, maybe they are worried that Somalis will hurt their one-world goal more than other ethnic groups might due to their trouble assimilating.

Here is some of what the researchers recommend—it all involves Norway spending more money to train Somalis to do some sort of work and to push for their inclusion into the still discriminatory Norwegian society.  They also say Norway has to get away from this idea of “formal qualifications” for employment, and they recommend boosting the ethnic based community organizing groups (we have Somali ethnic community organizing groups all over the US largely paid for with taxpayer dollars to organize Somalis for engagement in the political process and to sign them up for the social services they are entitled to!  Never heard of it, see our whole category on ECBOs here).

There doesn’t seem to be a word that I see in the summary of the report about Somalis needing to try harder to fit in!

OSLO— Developing Oslo’s vibrant and dynamic Norwegian-Somali civil society organizations and strengthening their engagement with the city of Oslo is key to Norwegian-Somalis’ full and equal participation as residents of Oslo.

Poverty remains one of the single greatest barriers to Norwegian-Somali inclusion in Oslo. This leads to challenges in education, employment, housing and health and is further exacerbated by negative portrayals of Somalis within the Norwegian media.

The report Somalis in Oslo​, launched today by the Open Society Foundations, finds that the emphasis on formal qualifications within the Norwegian labour market together with discrimination in hiring processes are leading to high rates of Somali exclusion from employment in Oslo. To overcome the gap between the demands of the Norwegian labour market and the limited formal qualifications that many Somalis have upon entering Norway, the report recommends better emphasis be placed by employers and employment agencies on making more out of the actual skills and experiences of individuals.  [What might those be?—ed]

Somalis in Oslo recommends that the city of Oslo, which has developed robust policies for managing inclusion, and others concerned with inclusion such as the Norwegian Labour and Welfare Administration, the Directorate of Integration and Diversity and the Ministry of Children, Equality and Social Inclusion, strengthen their engagement with Somali and other minority communities. The research advises that Norwegian-Somali civil society organizations build their skills and improve collaboration to help better cross-community engagement. To tackle unemployment among Norwegian-Somalis, the research recommends government and civil society organizations address language needs, invest in mentor programs and offer help to Norwegian-Somalis on recruitment and employment practices.

The photo is from this poorly written undated story, but is seems that the authorities have taken some children out of Somali homes where abuse has been alleged (you know, one of those cultural relevance things we westerners can’t appreciate).   While looking around on the subject of how Somalis are doing in Norway, I also found this 2011 post at Tundra Tabloids about welfare fraud among Somalis in Norway where Somali women claim to have no husband in order to receive generous welfare benefits (but continue to produce babies with their “former” hubby).

George Soros Open Society Foundations has produced a report (one of many) from which they conclude for the media that everything is hunky-dory for Somalis in Helsinki.  The Somalis might(?) be happy, but some of the native Finns aren’t!

You know this is how people like Soros operate, they do studies and make conclusions for the media and the media laps it up.  And, by doing such media spin they can shame other cities/countries that aren’t so “welcoming” into doing Soros’ bidding—open their borders   If you go to the study, here, it doesn’t look like everything is copacetic with the growing Somali population of Helsinki.

Helsinki Mayor Jussi Pajunen: Immigrant population growth is key to Helsinki survival (Soros tells us so!).

Here is the happy news from Finnbay (emphasis is mine):

(FINNBAY) – Helsinki, 25 November 2013. According to the latest report published by the Open Society Foundations, Somalis in Helsinki enjoy a good life in Helsinki due to numerous policy initiations from the Helsinki City.

Somalis in Helsinki is part of a seven city research series, Somalis in European Cities, which examines the realities of people from Somali backgrounds in Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Malmo, Leicester, London, and Oslo. In Helsinki, the research was conducted by the Department of Social Research, University of Helsinki.

From Buffalo to Helsinki they are all falling for this economic benefit argument that uneducated, unemployable, impoverished third-worlders are going to bring an economic boom to a city.

“Immigrant Population growth is the key to Helsinki and the entire population of the metropolitan area. The City of Helsinki wants to be a model city with its work on anti-discrimination, so we must have zero tolerance for any sorts of discrimination against the Somali community and others, “said Mayor of Helsinki Jussi Pajunen.

The report highlights the experiences of Somalis living in Helsinki, focusing on five areas of local policy and the broader themes of identity, belonging and interaction. Through qualitative research methods, including interviews with key stakeholders at the city and national level and focus group discussions with Somali residents, conducted from the beginning of December 2012 through to the end of February 2013.

“Education and employment are the core of things for Somilis to enjoy living in Helsinki in order for them to participate as an active and equal group of our society. Much good work has already been done in integration, but the report highlights areas where room for improvement,” says Nazia Hussain , the Open Society Foundations, the Foundation Project Manager.

Although Somalis’ absolute numbers have always been small, the arrival of  Somali asylum seekers in the early 1990s was a significant event; it has been referred to as the “Somali shock”, Finland’s first experience accepting large groups of refugees.

The report suggests that Somalis living in Helsinki are satisfied with the city’s housing policies and services to promote the diversification of the structure of the population and to reduce their socio-economic one-sided.

Somali participants in the study felt that they are subjected to strong prejudices from other cities and attitudes that undermine the inclusion of experience in the wider society, even in your own community cohesion, the feeling is strong in some places.

Federal refugee contractor gives “Freedom Award” to George Soros

On Wednesday evening the International Rescue Committee (one of nine federal government contractors) which each year receives millions of tax dollars ($251 million from you in 2012), gave its annual Freedom Award at a glitzy gala at New York City’s Waldorf Astoria Hotel to George Soros with UN Ambassador Samantha Power and Former President Bill Clinton among the star-studded cast of elitists.

Here is how the IRC press release begins (update: press release has been removed from site, so it is a good thing I got it!)

On November 6  the International Rescue Committee honored businessman and philanthropist George Soros with its Freedom Award, thereby recognizing what IRC president David Miliband has called his “tremendous commitment to the advancement of human rights, social justice and democracy around the world.”

The contributions that George Soros has made to the cause of freedom worldwide have been far reaching, creative and effective. Perhaps most significant, he is the founder and chairman of Open Society—a network of foundations, partners, and projects in more than 100 countries. His commitment to the idea of open society—where rights are respected, government is accountable and no one has the monopoly on the truth—makes the Open Society Foundations unlike any other private philanthropic effort in history.  [Barf!—ed]

Open Society Institute grants to the IRC over the years have provided more than $3 million in support of lifesaving programs worldwide.

How about if the IRC just finds more millionaires and billionaires to fund their ‘good’ works and leaves the US taxpayers alone.

Then get this, Soros promised another cool million for the poor suffering Syrians, BUT….  Ha! Ha! Ha! the money is for influence peddling, not for “humanitarian aid” to feed and clothe the destitute.  From the Huffington Post which also reported the presence of one of Soros star pupils—-Samantha Power!

Soros said the money was intended to influence public opinion and encourage a meaningful, global response to the crisis in Syria. The billionaire was critical of the world’s response to the crisis up until now, saying his donations were a testament to the “glaring failure of international governance.”

George Soros flying in “conservatives” to lobby for amnesty

And, it will be one big happy lovefest with Ali Noorani’s National Immigration Forum and surely with Noorani’s pal Grover Norquist hovering in the wings (or, he might be right out front).

Pakistani Ali Noorani began his open borders activism as head of the Massachusetts Immigrants and Refugee Advocacy Coalition.

When you read about the ‘Evangelical’ lobbying push (below), the strategy has Grover written all over it (although his name does not come up in this article).

I honestly think that Norquist is a sleeper long-ago planted in the Republican Party, I just can’t figure out yet who he is a sleeper for!  Or, is it all about the payola?

The George Soros-funded National Immigration Forum (NIF) is organizing a “fly-in” of what it calls conservatives from across the country aimed at lobbying House Republicans for an amnesty bill.

According to USA Today’s immigration beat writer Alan Gomez, NIF is planning to organize the fly in with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg’s FWD.us, and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s Partnership for a New American Economy.

“The fly-in is being organized not by conservative groups, but organizations that have focused on legalizing millions of people who are in the U.S. illegally and changing the legal immigration system to bring in more foreign workers,” Gomez wrote on Monday. He noted that the 300 activists for an immigration grand bargain were looking to make what he described as a “conservative pitch” for amnesty.

Gomez noted NIF’s Executive Director, Ali Noorani, who “has advocated for changes in immigration law to help legal and undocumented immigrants for three decades,” claimed “the broad collection coming to Washington represents ‘the conservative base of the Republican Party.’”

Soros is heavily involved in funding the lobbying for amnesty. After Breitbart News exposed NIF for being Soros-funded while running a campaign to make it appear as though evangelicals support granting amnesty to illegal immigrants, Noorani admitted his group accepts funding from Soros. Noorani denies that the funding was being used for the Evangelical Immigration Table (EIT), a project that his group runs the operations of, but admits that millions of NIF’s dollars come from Soros and that about 10 percent of its budget this year comes from the leftwing billionaire.

This closing section of the Politico story has Norquist written all over it—Ali Noorani is Grover’s Pakistani buddy (big smooch from Noorani to Grover ), and this is classic Norquist strategy:

It’s not just religious leaders looking to help galvanize support from social conservatives. The National Immigration Forum has created its “Bibles, Badges and Business” effort that targets conservative lawmakers by bringing in pastors, law enforcement and business owners into the debate. The group helped facilitate more than 70 meetings on Capitol Hill in December, of which 56 were with Republicans.

NIF is preparing to roll out a formal network to help provide a vehicle for sharing and strategy.

Ali Noorani, head of the forum, said it just makes sense when looking at how immigration reform is going to get passed.

“A conservative voter is going to listen to a conservative leader, especially in conservative states,” Noorani said. “From our perspective, this is about voters hearing from their pastor police chief or business — why their Republican member of Congress needs to be supported in this push for immigration reform.”

Be sure to read this piece (it is linked above also) by Noorani in which he begins his Evangelical Christian push by quoting Norquist.

There have been rumblings that Norquist has met with Soros, maybe they cooked this whole thing up together.

Perhaps one of the most disturbing things I learned over the years of researching the refugee program was that many so-called Christian and Jewish groups have their hands deeply planted into the pockets of federal and state taxpayers—Catholics, Lutherans and Evangelicals alike.  They help facilitate more immigration to America and benefit big business interests (and their own as they are paid by you to help the immigrants get set up with social services).   The so-called “comprehensive immigration reform” bill passed by the Senate is larded with goodies for the “churches.”

How is this any different than what angered Christ so much with the Temple moneychangers?
