Updating Ann’s post of last week about ANSWER’s demonstrations on December 30, and my post about American Muslims demonstrating against Israel (these were ANSWER demonstrations), ANSWER is now announcing a national march on Washington next Saturday, January 10. There will also be demonstrations in other cities. It looks as if ANSWER is the only non-Muslim group involved. The others so far are: Muslim American Society Freedom, Free Palestine Alliance, American Muslim Task Force, National Council of Arab Americans, Al-Awda – International Palestine Right to Return Coalition, CAIR (Council on American Islamic Relations), American Muslims for Palestine, American Muslim Alliance, Muslimah Writers’ Alliance, Voters for Peace, and hundreds of others.
Nice to know that CAIR, the self-described “mainstream” civil rights organization for Muslims, is at one with ANSWER, the most radical of the radical groups.
