Kansas City, MO, immigrant suspected in murdering his wife…

Update November 17th:  More disgusting details, here, thanks to Blulitespecial.

Update November 16th:  Jerry Gordon writing at New English Review wonders if this could be another honor killing, here.

….after previously raping a child, possibly his niece.   Jumping to conclusions perhaps from the names in this story, but I bet they are Somalis.  Only their refugee resettlement agency knows for sure (so far)!   Hat tip:  Blulitespecial

From the Kansas City Star:

The husband of a Kansas City woman found dead on Thursday was charged Friday with sexually assaulting a female relative several years ago.

Jackson County prosecutors charged Hussein A. Ahmed, 27, with one count of attempted statutory rape and one count of statutory rape of a person younger than 14. One charge stems from 2004 and the other from 2007, according to court records.

Police were called Thursday morning to Ahmed’s house in the 1200 block of Askew Avenue and discovered his 49-year-old wife dead in the bedroom. Police said there were signs of foul play. On Friday, police identified the dead woman as Halimo Ahmed.

After the death was discovered, the alleged victim of the sexual assaults told police that Hussein Ahmed had assaulted her once when she was about 11 and again later, which resulted in her becoming pregnant. She told detectives that Hussein Ahmed made her lie and tell police that someone else had raped her.

According to court documents, the pregnancy was terminated at a clinic in Kansas.

Hussein Ahmed denied having sex with the alleged victim, according to the documents. He is being held on a $250,000 bond in the rape case.

Weird story though, don’t you think?  Here is another version that says that at least one of the dead woman’s kids was 12, but her husband, under arrest for the rape is only 27.   I guess that it’s technically possible that he fathered the kids.

For new readers:

The US State Department has admitted over 80,000 Somali refugees to the US in the last 25 years and then last year had to suspend family reunification because widespread immigration fraud was revealed through DNA testing.  That specific program has not yet been reopened, but thousands of Somalis continue to be resettled as I write this.
