Aberdeen, SD: Somali refugee found guilty of sexual assault in December is supposed to be sentenced today

Udate: Reader Elena found this tiny mention in the local news, rescheduled for April 10th.
Liban Mohamed was found guilty in December of attempted sexual assault of a special needs woman.  He was arrested last July after reportedly only being in the country for one week.

Aberdeen Mayor Mike Levsen has been an advocate for making Aberdeen another refugee placement site. Meat packing political power?  See here: https://refugeeresettlementwatch.org/2016/04/16/heads-up-aberdeen-south-dakota-new-resettlement-site-being-proposed/

We are waiting to hear whether his sentencing will go ahead today as originally scheduled. (No mugshot is available!)

Here is my story from January 5th:

If you missed the story yesterday, go here, to learn about how an arrest, an indictment and a guilty verdict all went missing from local news reports about a Somali refugee who had been in the country one week before his July encounter with a special-needs woman.

Here is a recap and an update from Leo Hohmann at World Net Daily:

A South Dakota newspaper that failed to report on the case of a Somali man convicted of trying to molest a severely handicapped woman, changed gears Wednesday after being outed by WND and decided to publish a story about the crime.

There are still many outstanding questions.  Lutheran Social Services, the refugee contractor in SD, has never indicated whether that agency resettled the now convicted Somali refugee.  We are all still puzzled about how he was able to be wandering around an Aberdeen neighborhood after only a few days in the country.  The only resettlement city in South Dakota now is in Sioux Falls (a couple hundred miles away) since reportedly the office in Huron has been closed for new resettlement.
Mohammed was reportedly scheduled to go to work for Dem Kota Ranch beef.
Meanwhile be sure to see that the Huffington Post is going after WND’s Leo Hohmann today.
See all of our previous reports on South Dakota by clicking here.  I stopped in both Aberdeen and Huron during my summer tour of cities troubled with large numbers of refugees.
P.S. I have about 5 or 6 other Somali stories I need to post. Hope to get to them soon, but needless to say things are crazy. I apologize to all who are trying to reach me, but it is just me here!

Comment worth noting: reader asks should he defend Trump on facebook or stay silent

Editor: As longtime readers know, from time to time, I elevate comments I receive to posts because the comment deserves further attention. This is one from yesterday from a regular reader—‘domstudent11’.  I almost answered it last night, but was conflicted about what to say. I am not conflicted this morning after posting my earlier report.
By the way, he is not the first reader over the weekend to bring up the issue of conflicts on facebook.

Here is ‘domstudent11’:

I was unfriended today by a fellow church member who didn’t like my post explaining the lucrative refugee resettlement program. I guess liberals don’t like facts. I wonder if all the hostility on FB is because until now, there was no pushback from conservatives. So I am torn. I could keep my mouth shut and ignore all the anti-Trump posts from my so-called friends, or try to enlighten them, which has resulted in me being unfriended and blocked. For some reason I think it is important to challenge folks, and I have been trying to stick to facts only. I also “like” posts that I agree with from Gary Bauer, Jay Sekulow, Breitbart, etc. What do you-all think? Ignore or challenge?

Here are my thoughts in no particular order:

~Most facebook fights are a waste of time (IMHO). You are not going to change ‘liberals’ minds.
~That said, in light of where we are in America, it is time to bring the issue of Islamic immigration and refugee resettlement to a head, so post to facebook articles you agree with and let the chips fall where they may. But don’t waste time with back and forth arguments.
~Who cares if you lose friends who don’t see the fact that we are at a turning point for America, indeed for all of western civilization.
~Unless they are like-minded, maybe keep your family off of your facebook friends list. No sense jeopardizing your next Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner invite.
~Find more like-minded friends on facebook and in person so that you can have some emotional support for a huge war that has barely begun (assuming Trump doesn’t back down!).
~Direct your facebook energy toward your members of Congress and US Senators (the most likely to turn tail and run when things get rough). And, make sure your state and local elected officials get messages from you too.
~Put some of the time you might spend fighting with liberals on facebook toward other actions that might reach open minds—write letters to the editor, organize a citizens’ group (or join one like ACT for America) in your town, go out and demonstrate when the opportunity arises to confront those supporting more Muslim migration to America.  And, my favorite option—use your free speech—write your own blog and build a local/state clientele that will challenge (with facts!) your open borders activists and elected officials.
~And today spend your ‘free’ time supporting Trump and yelling at the Republicans in Washington who are getting cold feet! But, don’t get bogged down in the minutia of what this latest EO says!

Former Homeland Security officer: three triggers to bring on Islamic uprising in US

“America has had the audacity to pick someone different from what the world wanted, which was someone who would not be submissive to the global Islamic movement.”

Phil Haney

All hell is breaking loose in America and around the world over President Donald Trump’s executive order of last Friday. You surely couldn’t miss it (unless you hid in the wilderness all weekend) as cable news ran airport demonstration shots on a continuous loop, twitter went crazy, friends fought on facebook and the good ol’ boy chicken Republicans in the Senate predictably wet their pants because they are so scared.

Airport demonstrators in Detroit yesterday. Stand behind Trump now or this will be our future! http://www.mlive.com/news/index.ssf/2017/01/protestors_show_solidarity_wit.html

But, as you read this, consider that maybe it is time to bring this whole thing to a head, to excise the boil—will America continue to be Islamized via immigration (the hijra) or will we save ourselves now?

Let’s just get it over with!

Have the fight right now about what sort of country America will be for our grandchildren. Will America, in generations to come, be an Islamic caliphate, or not?

Here is Leo Hohmann with Phil Haney yesterday at World Net Daily:

A former Homeland Security officer who spent years screening Muslim immigrants points to three “triggers” of confrontation between the new administration of Donald Trump and the global Islamic movement.

These three issues will spawn a violent backlash in response to Trump as he attempts to implement what many believe are long-overdue reforms.

And Trump has already bumped head-on into one of the hot-button issues – Muslim immigration.

According to Phillip Haney, a founding member of the Homeland Security Department and author of the book “See Something Say Nothing,” the stars are lining up for a major confrontation with the global Islamic movement and its allies on the political left.

The “flashpoints” to watch going forward are these:

~Moving the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem

~Declaring the Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist organization

~Restricting Islamic immigration into the U.S.

Trump’s executive orders slapping a 120-day moratorium on refugee resettlement and a 30-day ban on those entering on visas from seven terror-sponsoring countries has been met with protests Sunday at airports in New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Detroit and Minneapolis.

see-something-say-something

In Hamtramck, Michigan, the nation’s first city to elect a Muslim-majority city council, protesters descended on City Hall Sunday with signs that included “Ban Bannon” and “We are all Immigrants.”

There were no such protests when former President Obama restricted Christian refugees from entering the U.S. from Syria, Egypt, Pakistan and other Muslim countries.

As Trump tries to rein in concessions given to the Muslim Brotherhood by the previous administrations of Clinton, Bush and Obama, he should expect the Brotherhood and its allies on the left to push back with hell’s fury, Haney said.

There will be lawsuits, ugly protests, and an all-out effort to create chaos in the streets of U.S. cities, he predicts.

[….]

As seen at protests in major U.S. airports Sunday, the radical left is eager to take up the crusade of Muslim activism.

Haney says it’s not just American Muslims who will join this fight, either, but global Islamic extremists who are invested in destroying Israel, propping up the Muslim Brotherhood, and continuing the flow of Shariah-compliant Muslims from the Middle East into Western democracies.

[….]

“It’s not about Trump. It’s about America,” Haney said. “America has had the audacity to pick someone different from what the world wanted, which was someone who would not be submissive to the global Islamic movement.

More here.

You must do this today!

Send a message to President Trump by clicking here!  Thank him and ask him to stand firm.

Then you must contact your member of the House and US Senators (especially Republicans!) and tell them you support Trump and they better not turn tail and run. We are at a critical turning point in our history and Republicans who wet their pants this week, who show fear, are to blame if Islamic supremacists gain a victory now!
