Catholic Charities should not be funded by government!

That is the title of this excellent youtube clip from the Capital Research Center that echoes a major theme here at RRW.  (Hat tip: John) Send it to your friends and family!

(The link to the video is here in case you can’t play it above: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VxK3ILdN8SM&feature=youtu.be )
If you search USASpending.gov you should be able to find out how much government money is going to your local Catholic Charities.  Be sure to check off grants and contracts and select years.
Some Catholic Charities are under the budget umbrella of the US Conference of Catholic Bishops (one of nine federal contractors for the resettlement of refugees), but that is not the only money CC is getting directly from you—the US taxpayer.
These are the nine federal contractors, for six of them the same message applies—-religious groups should not be getting federal dollars! (Nor should the secular non-profits, but at least they aren’t being as hypocritical as the supposedly religious ones.)
The number in parenthesis is the percentage of federal funding each received in 2015 or 2016, see here:

Cleveland "man" sentenced in grisly murder of his ex-wife (honor killing?)

Once again we see news that attempts to bury the fact that the murderer is a Muslim REFUGEE!  It makes me want to scream.

fahad-saeed-87cae0eb3efe6d5e
Iraqi Fahad Mohammed Saeed with attorneys (showed no remorse). Gee, wonder why his middle name isn’t mentioned in Cleveland.com nor is the fact that he and his now dead wife got in to the US through the US Refugee Admissions Program!

This is the bare bones story from Cleveland.com this past week (hat tip: Jim) that sent me out looking for more on the Iraqi “national” who was sentenced, not to life in prison, for a horrific murder that saw him bury his dead wife in front of their 3-year-old, but to 25 years on a plea deal.
(Is the plea deal just to keep more politically incorrect details from the public that would have come out in what would surely be a sensational jury trial?)
Here is Cleveland.com and then keep reading to see what I learned from earlier reporting (elsewhere):

CLEVELAND, Ohio — A man was sentenced Thursday to 25 years in prison after admitting to strangling his ex-wife in 2016, then stuffing her body into a duffel bag and burying her remains as their 3-year-old son watched.

Fahad Saeed, 28, showed little remorse before Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court Judge Pamela Barker imposed the sentence.

“Things happen,” Saeed said through an Arabic interpreter.

Cuyahoga County prosecutors and Saeed’s lawyers struck a deal on Thursday that would see him plead guilty to involuntary manslaughter, kidnapping and burglary charges, and serve the maximum time in prison on each charge for a total of 25 years.

Prosecutors agreed not pursue an aggravated murder charge that would put Saeed behind bars for life. [What the hell!—ed]

The court hearing offered details into Al-Dhannoon’s October 2016 disappearance from her apartment on Lakewood’s Gold Coast, and the months-long search that ended when investigators found her body in May 2017.

[….]

The toddler told FBI agents in a November 2016 interview that “daddy put mommy in the pickies near the horses,” an apparent reference to the park’s carousel, Assistant Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Blaise Thomas said.

Read on, it was a jailhouse snitch who ultimately helped law enforcement find her body.

Saeed, an Iraqi national in the U.S. on a green-card visa, will be subject to deportation once he is released from prison.

Al-Dhannoon and Saeed married in 2011. She filed for the protection order in November 2015 after he became increasingly violent, according to court records.  [Hey! Violent! I thought these Iraqi refugees were ‘robustly’ screened!—ed]

Charged in May when the body was found

missing-posted
In Cleveland’s ABC News 5 report on the missing woman in November of 2016, they reported that Al Dhannoon and her ex were refugees.   https://www.news5cleveland.com/news/local-news/oh-cuyahoga/fbi-lakewood-police-search-for-missing-24-year-old-mother

Here is what the New York Post said in May that Cleveland.com has shamefully not mentioned in its sentencing story:

CLEVELAND — An Ohio man was indicted Thursday on aggravated murder and other charges after the remains of his ex-wife who’d been missing since October were found in a container outside Cleveland.

Fahad Mohammed Saeed, 27, of Cleveland, also was charged in the indictment with kidnapping, felonious assault, aggravated burglary, stalking and abuse of a corpse in connection with the death of 25-year-old Roaa Al-Dhannoon. She was last seen Oct. 16 at her Lakewood, Ohio, apartment and was reported missing by friends three days later.

[….]

The couple divorced in September, and Al-Dhannoon was granted sole custody of their young son, Assistant Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Blaise Thomas said.

So one month after she divorced him he murdered her.  “Things happen” he said.

Saeed and Al-Dhannoon came to the U.S. about three years ago as refugees from Iraq, Thomas said. They initially lived in California before settling in the Cleveland area. Thomas said Saeed and Al-Dhannoon were in the process of obtaining residency status.

More here.
Frankly it is maddening to see stories like the Cleveland.com piece that leaves out two salient points—they were Muslims and refugees.  And, what I think happened is that Al-Dhannoon was becoming Americanized (look at her photo) and hubby was so angry he killed her—“Things happen.”
So in addition to a vile person having been admitted to the US (robust vetting?) the taxpayers of America will have paid for all of the criminal investigation and his legal representation/court expenses and soon will pay for 25 years of incarceration (Halal food? Special prayer breaks? etc.)!
Ask ‘Welcoming America’ if when they are promoting the economic benefits of refugees in Cleveland whether they have factored in the enormous costs of caring for violent refugee criminals like Fahad Mohammed Saeed.
(Isn’t there one of you out there who has the time to research what one of these refugee murderers or violent criminals, sentenced to long prison terms, cost the taxpayers of your state?)
Supposedly Saeed will be deported when he walks free at age 52, but who is going to be watching to be sure he is removed from America!
And, what kind of a man will his little son grow into having watched his father bury his mother (stuffed into a bag) and thrown into a ditch?
This post is filed in my ‘crimes’ category here (2,198 previous posts!).
When I hear the refugee industry propagandists say that refugees aren’t terrorists and criminals they may really believe it because most media is working overtime to cover for refugees who commit crimes!

Trump is right! Don't bring Africa to America

This is an incredible report from Karin McQuillan at American Thinker thanks to reader George for sharing it.
Entitled:

What I Learned in the Peace Corps in Africa: Trump Is Right

It is one woman’s account of a year in Africa in which she describes the huge cultural chasm between African countries and America and she begins with one literal difference that relates to Trump’s supposed s***hole comment.

Africans in Concord
After you read the American Thinker piece, read this that came across my desk at the same time from “welcoming” Concord, NH. The liberal disconnect will be obvious.  http://www.concordmonitor.com/Welcoming-in-Concord-14954581

Three weeks after college, I flew to Senegal, West Africa, to run a community center in a rural town. Life was placid, with no danger, except to your health. That danger was considerable, because it was, in the words of the Peace Corps doctor, “a fecalized environment.”

In plain English: s— is everywhere. People defecate on the open ground, and the feces is blown with the dust – onto you, your clothes, your food, the water. He warned us the first day of training: do not even touch water. Human feces carries parasites that bore through your skin and cause organ failure.

Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined that a few decades later, liberals would be pushing the lie that Western civilization is no better than a third-world country. Or would teach two generations of our kids that loving your own culture and wanting to preserve it are racism.

Major resettlement contractor silent about 'retirement' of top official

We told you here a few days ago that Lavinia Limon suddenly retired from the US Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI) in October.  That is about the same time that another major State Department refugee contractor was having internal reshuffling problems as well.

Stacie Blake 2
USCRI’s Stacie Blake did not respond to requests for further information.   http://refugees.org/about/

Michael Leahy at Breitbart ,who has done extensive reporting on the refugee industry, tried to get answers from USCRI to no avail.
Until we have further information that it was a normal retirement, we will assume it was related to the industry turmoil as the Trump Administration attempts to rein-in the refugee program.
These contractors*** which have become almost wholly dependent for their survival on the US Treasury are thus experiencing financial stress as federal payouts are declining.
Here is his story entitled:

Mysterious Retirement of Lavinia Limon at U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants Raises Questions About Federal Program

And, here is what Leahy asked USCRI’s Director of Government and Community Relations:

The unusual circumstances surrounding Ms. Limon’s retirement prompted Breitbart News to ask USCRI communications director Stacie Blake several questions on Thursday about the former CEO’s departure:

1. Why did the announcement of Ms. Limon’s retirement from USCRI not include a statement from her?

2. Why did USCRI not issue the announcement as a press release?

3. Was the employment of Ms. Limon’s brother, Peter Limon, director of business development, also terminated at the same time?

4. Was Ms. Limon’s retirement forced by the USCRI Board of Directors, as sources have told Breitbart News?

5. Was Ms. Limon’s retirement caused by concerns or ongoing investigations–either internal or external–over financial irregularities at USCRI?

Ms. Blake has not responded to our inquiries.

Go here for the whole Breitbart story.
By the way, after 11 years of following the UN/US Refugee Admissions Program, it is no surprise to me that they don’t answer media questions.
These quasi-government agencies are notoriously secretive and frankly it is their greatest failing and what keeps me continuing to write about them. They use our tax dollars for big CEO salaries while treating the general taxpaying public arrogantly!
***The nine federal refugee contractors that must be undergoing enormous financial stress as the number of refugees (paying clients) decline.  The number in parenthesis is the percentage of their income involuntarily supplied by you, the taxpayer.

Charleston, WV: They aren't getting their Syrian refugees, but mosque makes aggressive move

Leo Hohmann has the full story at his new website entitled:

West Virginia school district signs off on mosque’s ‘indoctrination’ of teachers

…which describes a brazen push with school system permission to indoctrinate teachers about Islam reportedly using allegations of bullying in the schools as the pretext for ‘educating’ the teachers.
This demonstrates a pattern of aggressive proselyting we have observed as Muslim immigrants begin to make their presence known in cities that have had little experience with this kind of ‘diversity.’

Islamic association of WV (1)
The city’s only mosque – Islamic Association of West Virginia – doubled in size about two years ago. CAIR, or the Council on American Islamic Relations, announced plans last year to open an office in Charleston…

They are often aided and abetted by local so-called ‘Interfaith’ groups representing the religious Left. (Ring a bell South Dakota!).

But, first a little background to set the stage:
Catholic Charities has had a small resettlement office in Charleston for a long time, but a couple of years ago, as the Interfaith group jumped on the ‘we-want-Syrian-refugees’ bandwagon, they found Episcopal Migrations Ministries (99.5% funded by taxpayers) willing to put in for a new office in Charleston specifically seeking Syrian Muslims.
I wrote about their unusual desire to specify a particular ethnic group in 2016.
Normally a budding new subcontractor is happy to get whatever ethnic groups are sent their way. After all, it is about ‘humanitarianism’ right!
They didn’t get their wish, as Hohmann relates, and the office approved by Obama’s State Department was killed when Trump came in, partially due to Trump’s ‘ban’  on Syrians and partly due to organized citizen opposition in Charleston.

They aren’t getting their New Americans yet, but readers need to know that they are just waiting for Trump to be gone from the White House!  So, in the meantime, they are “educating.”

Fast forward to this past week when we learned that the The Islamic Association of West Virginia had sent an invitation via the school system directly to individual teacher’s mailboxes inviting them to learn about Islam at a special upcoming event—-The Islamic Association of West Virginia: Get to know your Muslim student event!
Can you imagine if the local Baptist Church (any other faith group) went to the School Board and asked to put invitations in to teachers’ boxes about an upcoming ‘know your Christian students event.’  They would be laughed out of the office!
It would never happen.

So why did the Islamic Association of WV have success? It is spelled F-E-A-R!

Now, see Hohmann’s riveting reporting on what happened and is happening in Charleston, WV! See how teachers are afraid!
Do you see the pattern where you live?
