A few minutes ago Iposted a commentfrom tomasrose to my post on ‘unaccompanied minors.’ Tomasrose told us that a few years ago one of the ‘minors’ murdered a pregnant woman who had befriended him. I went to search for that story and found this one from just a few days ago at Jihad Watch.
Barbarians (oops! asylum seekers) at the Brandenburg Gate in 2012 demanding to stay in Germany
Seems some of those lovely asylum-seeking Muslims murdered the unborn child as an Islamic ‘morality’ lesson. And this is the new Germany!
“Germany: Muslims break in to home of couple and beat unborn child to death to enforce sharia,” by Nicolai Sennels for Islam Versus Europe, August 4:
Islamists from Chechnya have severely abused a couple in the central receiving point [for asylum seekers] in the Brandenburg, Germany. Their motivation: The couple, who are refugees from Caucasus, had behaved immorally.
Ten men forced their way into the couple’s bedroom. The attackers kicked the 23-year old Zulikhan in the stomach, who thus lost her unborn child. Her husband, who was seriously injured by numerous blows, was sent to the hospital for inpatient treatment.
The ‘punishment action’ for allegedly immoral behavior occurred last week, on Friday. The 38-year-old leader of the Islamists has enforced ‘traditional values’ of Islam on several occasions in the area, according to police interrogation records.
According to FOCUS information, the man apparently belongs to the radical separatist movement “Caucasus Emirate”. The two Boston bombers, the Tsarnaev brothers, were also part of this movement.
An investigator from the Federal Criminal Office told FOCUS: “The people come from the civil war, they’re so brutalised.”

Cutting tools on display in a room in Lunsar, Sierra Leone [Grace Harmon/Plan International]Isn’t diversity beautiful!
Here is news of a new report on this disgusting, degrading, barbaric practice that you know they are not leaving behind when they migrate to the West.
From All Africa. The UN does something useful here:
Mogadishu — Approximately 6.5 million Somali girls and women have undergone female genital mutilation/cutting (FGM/C) — otherwise known as female circumcision — according to a new report by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
Although support for the practice is waning, the report indicates that 98% of Somali women between 15 and 49 have been cut or mutilated — the highest per capita percentage in the world.
In addition, the report states that female circumcision is higher among Somalis even in countries where the practice is less common.
We reported back in March that the practice was increasing in the US, here.
Photo: The photo is from another report on FGM in June, here. Looks like there is less and less interest in defending the procedure in a nod to ‘cultural relativism’ that seemed to be a trend gaining favor a few years ago. And, from a practical standpoint, why should Westerners be expected to pay for the mental and physical health problems stemming from FGM when Somalis are resettled in the US.
The scam being run by Saaid Cherkaoui at his Bridgeport, CT convenience store demonstrates a new twist in the standard immigrant-run fraud scheme.
Cherkaoui (as usual no nationality or immigration status is given, but some with that last name are Moroccan) acquired a large number of of EBT cards, used them at a wholesale store to purchase hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of merchandisehe then resold in his Mom & Pop grocery.
What I don’t get about the story is why the State of Connecticut is fining him and not also turning him into the feds for criminal prosecution.
The state of Connecticut is suing a Bridgeport grocery and convenience store owner accused of using hundreds of food stamp accounts to buy hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of energy drinks, candy bars, beef jerky and other products that he sold at his store.
Saaid Cherkaoui, who runs Slim’s Deli Market, is accused of obtaining EBT cards from authorized recipients and using them at BJ’s Wholesale Club, where he bought products at a discount.
State officials said the scheme began as early as March 1, 2011 and continued until Oct. 6, 2012 He’d swipe card after card at the self-checkout to pay for the products, then resell the items at his store, according to the complaint the state filed against Cherkaoui.

Update August 5th: Australians living in Hunter upset to hear a new detention center (for 1000) could be built in their town if the PNG strategy fails, here.
Presumably demonstrating that they mean business, the Rudd government has sent the first batch of “asylum seekers” to PNG. Apparently, PNG will process them and then decide whether they can stay or not. It is not clear to me what happens to them if PNG rejects them.
We’ve been reporting on Australia’s new get-tough policy for the last couple of weeks. Opposition leader Tony Abbott says this is just a stunt to get voters to think something is being done about the invasion of Australia by mostly Muslims from the Middle East.
The first asylum-seekers group which included 40 Iranian and Afghan refugees, has been sent to Papua New Guinea from Australia, according to country’s new refugee policy, IRIB News reported.
If the cases of refugees are approved by the local government, they will be allowed to stay in New Guinea.
Australian government has announced on July 19 that illegal migrants which enter Australia by boat will not be tolerated, and will be sent to Papua New Guinea or their homeland, the report said.
By the way, Iran won’t take back any that are ordered deported, surely because this is about ‘seeding’ the West with Islamists!
Lovely prospective citizens—the inmates burned down the detention facility:
According to the reports, hundreds of asylum seekers including Palestinian, Iraqi, Lebanese, Iranian and Sudanese in Nauru Island refugee camp, who protested against slow process of refugee determination and hardening of asylum laws, were attacked by police On July 20.
Some 125 asylum seekers were in police custody on Nauru after the riot ended with fire destroying most of an Australian-run detention center there.
So, do you think the average Australian citizen has had enough—Yup!

Federal prosecutors say In July 1992, during the Bosnian war, Edin Sakoc kidnapped and raped a Bosnian Serb and aided in the murder of her mother and aunt before burning down the family’s home. 21 years later, the 54-year-old Bosnian Muslim and naturalized Vermonter faces trial in Burlington.
Waell Murray is a Palestinian American who immigrated in 1984. He runs Global Market in Burlington and says resettled Bosnians account for about 40 percent of his business. But he says no one’s talking about the Burlington refugee recently accused of war crimes. “People like to talk when they come in here and they like to talk about issues, world issues and politics and stuff, but this particular issue nobody has discussed with me yet,” he said.
Howard Ball, a former Dean of Arts and Sciences at the University of Vermont, says its very common for war criminals to seek refugee status. He says military strategy during the Bosnian war dictated rape and murder as part of a genocidal campaign. U.S. Officials are charging Sakoc with lying about his background to immigration officials, with a maximum penalty of ten years behind bars. But Ball says prosecutors are more likely to seek deportation than prison time.
“He could face trial if he goes back, whether he will be indicted by a Bosnian court, we don’t know,” he said.
More than 1,700 Bosnian refugees came to Vermont between 1992 and 2005. But none of the dozens we contacted are willing to speak on-camera.
In this wrap-up paragraph, I don’t know what the five year reference is to, but you can bet your bottom dollar he and his family are being at least partially supported to this day by social services provided through the generosity of the US and Vermont taxpayer.
The Vermont Refugee Resettlement Program* declined our multiple requests for an interview, citing concerns with appearing to speak for a community with diverse and differing opinions. [LOL! They don’t want to speak ill of a Muslim I bet–ed]. Many of those they’ve helped no longer qualify for special services, as those rights evaporate once a refugee spends five years in the states.
Photo: The photo is from a report on this case, here, at Fox News 44. Note that Sakoc has been in the US since 2001 but needed a translator to understand the court proceedings. I wonder how much this guy cost us over the last 12 years! And, how much his legal proceedings will cost us going forward! Just a reminder, revisit the latest on the conviction of a war criminal here in New Hampshirejust a few weeks ago after years (and millions of dollars spent) in the court system.
*VRRP! It couldn’t happen to a more deserving state (the Land of Leahy)! Diversity is beautiful, right!
***Update August 4th***
Reader ‘Mikefromlongisland’ alerted us to this more detailed account of the charges against Sakoc. From AP at the Montana Standard:
Sakoc is a Bosnian Muslim. He moved to Vermont in 2001, became a legal resident of the United States in 2004 and was naturalized as a U.S. citizen in June 2007. The Burlington Free Press reported Sakoc has a wife and a 6-year-old daughter.
The people Sakoc is accused of victimizing were Orthodox Christian Bosnian Serbs.
The Bosnian Serb family had moved from a home in the southern Bosnian municipality of Capljina to the home of a Bosnian Croat family nearby, the indictment said. Most Bosnian Serbs in the village had fled to safer areas, but a woman remained to care for two people who were too old to travel far, it said.
On or around July 9, 1992, Sakoc and an unnamed co-conspirator went to the home where the victims were staying, took the woman from the home, raped her and took her to the Dretelj prison camp, the indictment said.
Later that night or early the next day, Sakoc and the co-conspirator returned to the home, the indictment said. With help from Sakoc, the co-conspirator fatally shot the two elderly people, burned the home down and separately burned the victims’ bodies, it said.
The two-count indictment did not include charges directly tied to those events but charged that Sakoc had lied to immigration authorities three times when asked if he had participated in crimes of persecution and moral turpitude: when he applied for refugee status in the U.S. in 2001, when he applied for permanent legal residency in 2004 and when he applied for citizenship in 2007.
