Christian Groups Push for Mass Amnesty and to Raise Refugee Ceiling to 125,000 this Year

Demonstrating once again that these so-called Christian religious charities care more about illegal aliens and third world refugees than they do about America’s poor, sick, homeless and unemployed….

They are federal refugee contractors who have worked hard to elect Biden/Harris as part of the ‘religious’ Socialist Left and are cheering Biden’s plan to push for a blanket amnesty for those in the country illegally and to increase the ceiling for the admission of refugees to 125,000 in this fiscal year (FY2021 is underway).

See the story at the Christian Post:

Christian immigration advocacy groups praise Biden’s plans as ‘glimpse of hope’

Several faith-based immigration advocacy and humanitarian organizations [they are federal refugee contractors, see list below—ed] have voiced support for the immigration proposal President Joe Biden sent to Congress on his first day in office Wednesday and the immigration-related executive orders he signed.

However, some conservatives have voiced opposition to the legislative proposal, saying that it opens the door to “mass amnesty.”

[….]

World Relief also called on Biden to raise the annual U.S. refugee resettlement ceiling that was drastically reduced during the Trump years. In November, Biden vowed to raise the ceiling to 125,000 refugees that can be resettled in the U.S. during the fiscal year. Under Trump, the ceiling was set at 15,000 for the fiscal year 2021.

One of those cheering Biden is the often-arrested CEO of Church World Service.*** See here.

Arrested on the Capitol steps in 2019. That is the Rev. McCullough of Church World Service on the far left. He pulls in an annual salary and benefits package of $386,227 (most recent form 990) from the quasi-government CWS. Looks like Anne Richard, Obama’s refugee chief next to him, and then of course CAIR’s Nihad Awad fourth from the left.

The Rev. John L. McCullough, president and CEO of Church World Service, another refugee resettlement agency, said in a statement that Wednesday marked the “new beginning for compassionate policy.”

“It is now the duty of Congress to pass this bill and deliver it to President Biden’s desk for his signature,” McCullough said.

Republican Senators Grassley and Cruz responded to the idea of a blanket amnesty and believe it is not their duty at all!

Among opponents is Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa, who formerly chaired the Senate Judiciary Committee. He believes Biden’s immigration proposal is tantamount to “mass amnesty.” In a statement shared by Roll Call, Grassley said the bill is “far more radical” than past failed congressional efforts for immigration reform.

[….]

In addition to Grassley, other conservatives in the Senate have spoken out against Biden’s proposals. Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas argued that the proposal puts the interests of people in the U.S. illegally before those of American workers.

“It is deeply troubling that most of Joe Biden’s first acts as president were to protect illegal immigrants and encourage illegal immigration at the expense of American jobs and workers,”Cruz stated.

More here.

That is a fine representative of Church World Service (sporting their logo).

By the way, to raise the refugee ceiling to 125,000 does not require Congressional approval, but Biden through his State Department is required to (merely) consult the House and Senate Judiciary Committees.

***  Is your church one of these?

McCullough and CWS say they represent the following “communions.”

And, know this, if your church does a “Crop Walk” you are funding the politically Leftwing activist group Church World Service!

America Lasters!

For New Readers these are the nine federal refugee contractors who have worked to put Biden and Harris in the White House.

They are largely paid by you, the taxpayer, for their work of changing America by changing the people and are putting Americans last!

Hartke: Lutherans want DACA amnesty, shutdown unacceptable

Today I saw this Press Release (below) on the twitter page for Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service, but can’t find it elsewhere.
Apparently their site has been down for days (strange!).
Since it is LIRS’s embattled CEO making the statement I guess she survived the internal turmoil and shake up that Breitbart reported here in November.
This is what you see when you attempt to get to the website:

LIRS website
This made me laugh. Their website has been down for at least 3 days, but they don’t want to miss a donation or a travel loan payment from their refugee clients (your money but they get a cut of it when they can get refugees to pay-up!)

Now here (below) is LIRS’ Press release.
Linda hartke 2
Hartke: ‘Non-profit’ groups like ours are impacted because we are 97% funded by the government. (She didn’t admit the 97% part!)

A point I don’t make often enough is that the federal refugee contractors support illegal immigrants with as much vigor as they support legal refugees.

You may hear your politicians make a distinction between LEGAL and ILLEGAL immigration with a comment like this:
“Legal immigration is good, but illegal is what I object to.”
But, get it into your head that the Leftwing Open Borders advocates, including those leading the nine federally funded resettlement agencies, make NO SUCH DISTINCTION.  They are advocates for any and all immigrants and are supportive of amnesty as you can see in this statement.
I never understood that because each illegal (made legal) through amnesty is a competitor of the refugees (LIRS’s clients) for whom they are contracted to find employment.
The shutdown also means that money that might have been coming to them from Washington today and tomorrow is not coming.

Senator Lindsey Graham says it is all Stephen Miller's fault

What’s his fault you ask? Everything to do with immigration and why Graham/Schumer can’t get a deal!

“As long as Stephen Miller is in charge of negotiating on immigration, we are going nowhere.”

(South Carolina Republican Senator Lindsey Graham)

Senator Graham of course is an advocate for amnesty and was one of the Gang of Eight in 2013 that managed to get their huge amnesty through the Senate that ultimately died when it went no where in the House.
Trump adviser Stephen Miller was then Senator Jeff Sessions’ chief staff person on the issue and as such was Graham’s nemesis.

Graham on Miller
Hey, Mr. President! A new nickname for you—Grumpy Graham! Photo from Politico which was also overjoyed to report Graham’s comments about Miller.   https://www.politico.com/story/2018/01/21/government-shutdown-immigration-graham-miller-354747

Graham, who was an outspoken advocate for Syrian refugees here in 2015, blasted Miller over the weekend and of course the Leftwing media (like Newsweek, here) was delighted to report:

During the second day of the United States federal government shutdown, a GOP senator said that President Donald Trump’s Senior Policy Advisor Stephen Miller was holding back Republicans and Democrats from striking a deal on immigration.

“Every time we have a proposal, it is only yanked back by staff members,” Senator Lindsey Graham (SC-R) told reporters on Capitol Hill Sunday.

Miller with then Senator Jeff Sessions

“As long as Stephen Miller is in charge of negotiating on immigration, we are going nowhere.”

The senator blamed Miller and the White House staff for continued disagreement over the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program (DACA) and immigration issues that were at the heart of the spending bill’s failure to pass in the Senate on Friday. “The Stephen Miller approach to immigration has no viability,” Graham told MSNBC on Friday.

[….]

Miller was a staffer for then-Alabama Senator Jeff Sessions in 2013 when Sessions voted down a bipartisan bill for immigration reform that would have helped 11 million undocumented American immigrants get citizenship. “It’s no secret that he’s an obstacle to getting anything done on immigration,” an unnamed House Republican told McClatchy earlier this month.

More here.
Here is my bellwether on how the President is doing on immigration issues, including the refugee issue. If Senator Graham is happy with the White House then that is bad news for us.
And, if for some reason, Miller leaves the Administration, it will be a sign that we are done!

As long time readers know, immigration/demographic change is, in my view, the only issue that matters for the future of our great country!

Obama Administration to Supreme Court on DAPA (amnesty for parents)

We told you yesterday that a decision by the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals to stop a portion of Obama’s amnesty would actually be welcomed by the NO Borders lobby as they see it as an opportunity!
Remember the famous line:  “Never let a good crisis go to waste!”

Marielena Hincapie
“This is the moment we have been waiting for.”

If the Supreme Court accommodates the Leftist community organizers like Marielena Hincapié there will be a major battle on the steps of the Supreme Court early next summer just in time for the Presidential convention campaign kick-offs.
For those of you in the immigration restriction movement, better plan next summer’s vacation around a trip to Washington especially if Donald Trump is the Republican nominee (the No Borders agitators say they will bring out hundreds of thousands)
Here the New York Times spells it out:

WASHINGTON — President Obama will ask the Supreme Court to clear the way for his far-reaching overhaul of the nation’s immigration system, administration lawyers said Tuesday, setting up a battle in the nation’s highest court over whether nearly five million undocumented immigrants can legally live and work in the United States.

A year after the president asserted the power of his office to provide work permits and protection from deportation for those immigrants, his plan remains under assault by conservatives who have tied it up in legal limbo. On Monday, a federal appeals court said the president had exceeded his authority.

If the Supreme Court agrees to hear the president’s case during the current term, a ruling could come by next summer, just days before the two political parties hold their nominating conventions for the 2016 presidential campaign. A June decision could ensure a fierce debate on an issue that is critical to partisans on both sides.

“This is the moment that we, along with millions of families, have been waiting for,” said Marielena Hincapié, the executive director of the National Immigration Law Center. “We are more than ready to take this case to the Supreme Court.”

And, pray that the Supreme Court drags its feet and does not play politics by giving them the organizing opportunity they so greatly desire.
Just so you know, Hincapie’ bragged about her connections with the press at the Georgetown event we attended.  I’ll have to watch the tape, but I think she specifically said the NYT.

Senator Jeff Sessions releases timeline of Obama’s lawless actions on immigration

Thanks to Henry for sending this Breitbart News story.  The lawlessness by the Administration was something we were trying to get across to viewers of Fox & Friends last week.  And, certainly you have seen the news that a federal judge has halted (for now) Obama’s Executive Amnesty.

Want to see the Presidential electoral landscape blow up—urge Senator Sessions to put his hat in the ring for 2016. This immigration issue is the animating issue for real conservatives in America. It touches us all from jobs to the economy to national security!

Breitbart News on the Senator’s 50-page time line of lawless acts by the Administration:

As Republicans work to overcome a Democratic filibuster of a House-passed Department of Homeland Security bill that blocks President Barack Obama’s executive amnesty, Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) is highlighting the Obama administration’s long history of dismantling immigration laws.

In a lengthy timeline released Monday, Sessions — the chairman of the Subcommittee on Immigration and the National Interest — lists every instance of the Obama administration ignoring, rewriting, delaying and breaking the nation’s immigration laws.

The timeline begins in January 2009 with the administration ending worksite enforcement actions and, 50 pages later, ends on February 13, 2015 with the House Judiciary Committee’s revelation that the administration included a “sneaky” avenue for illegal immigrants granted deferred status to be placed on a pathway to citizenship.

Here is the section of the report we were attempting to explain on Fox:

September 30, 2014: Obama Administration Circumvents Congress and Creates New Central American In-Country Refugee Program

The State Department announces that parents who are “lawfully present” in the U.S. who have children living in El Salvador, Guatemala, or Honduras may request their child’s admission into the U.S. as a refugee—despite a lack of explanation as to how those children may constitute “refugees” as defined in the INA. Even when a child is not eligible for entry under the refugee program, they can still be considered for entry under a case-by-case parole program. Section 101 of the INA defines a refugee as a person “who has a well-founded fear of persecution on account of race, religion, nationality, membership in a particular social group, or political opinion.” Courts have held that persecution requires government action, and that general violence or poverty does not meet the requirements for refugee or asylee status. Parole, commonly referred to as “humanitarian parole,” is authorized by Section 212 of the INA. The statute grants the Executive Branch discretion to “parole into the United States temporarily under such conditions as [it] may prescribe only on a case-by-case basis for urgent humanitarian reasons or significant public benefit.” While the administration acknowledges in its release that parole, by definition, is temporary in nature, it says aliens granted parole from Central America would be allowed into the U.S. in two-year increments and allowed to renew their parole, apparently indefinitely. It is later revealed that those granted deferred action, deferred enforced departure, and withhold of removal, will be eligible to participate. In effect, the program will allow “illegals in the United States to bring their children, their adult children, their grandchildren, and even step-parents into the United States.”

Just as Congress (Kennedy and Biden) wrote the original refugee law, so must Congress re-write it!
