Leo Hohmann on the Murder of Philip Haney

There are many, many news outlets scrambling to get an answer about how Obama Department of Homeland Security whistleblower Phil Haney died last week.  The local sheriff, in Amador County, California where his body was found, quickly said he died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, but his friends and family say NO WAY!

One of Haney’s friends, Leo Hohmann, posted a masterful piece about his patriot colleague.

As I looked at Hohmann’s post just now and wondered what bit could I snip that would capture how Leo describes his relationship with Haney and what he learned by spending time with him, I settled on this one (below) which is a nugget of wisdom Haney leaves all of you that should give you courage going forward.

However, I urge you to read the entire post at LeoHohmann.com:

Murder of Phil Haney, DHS whistleblower, only strengthens resolve of like-minded patriots

If not for Phil, I would have no knowledge of the concept of fitnah, which is key to understanding the whole Islamist strategy to label and shame those of us who understand what they’re up to. Fitnah is a type of stubborn disbelief on the part of non-Muslims who presented a challenge to the spread of Islam from the time of Muhammad up to today.

If the disbelievers persist, they must be dealt with. How do you do that when you don’t have the majority of a population? You play the victim card and use that to slander your enemies. That’s what Islam does so masterfully to gain leverage in non-Muslim countries like America, where gullible, self-loathing liberals fall easy prey to the fitnah strategy. Even the threat of being called an Islamophobe makes them wilt and run for cover. Islamophobia is nothing but the modern-day application of Islamic fitnah. Thank you Phil Haney for this revelation.

Please read it all!

I know many of you met Haney as he traveled the country attempting to wake up America to the threat within and we all mourn his passing.

I’ll update this post when we get some answers we can believe about his death.  I’m seeing some suggestions that the Dept. of Justice should launch an investigation.  But, ahhhh! the way things are going at the DOJ right now can we even trust them to get it right.

Minnesota Priest Apologizes for Homily on Islam after CAIR Hissy Fit

His Bishop made him apologize for remarks that the Catholic hierarchy says are not “reflective of the Catholic Church’s teaching on Islam.”

From KMSP Fox 9:

Lonsdale priest apologizes for anti-Muslim remarks made during homily

LONSDALE, Minn. (FOX 9) – A Minnesota priest has apologized for comments he made about the Muslim faith during a service in Lonsdale.

Wednesday it was calm and quiet outside of the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Lonsdale, but what happened inside the doors during a recent Sunday homily has some people incredibly upset.

Jaylani Hussein pounced!

Jaylani Hussein, executive director of CAIR-Minnesota, spoke out after audio of that Sunday sermon was shared on a blog and picked up steam online.

The priest’s comments about Muslims were the focal point.

“More specifically, we should not allow large numbers of Muslims asylum or immigration into our country,” said Fr. Nick VanDenBroeke in the recording.

“Islam is the greatest threat in the world to both Christianity and to America.”

https://icchurch.cc/

[….]

“Of course, there are peaceful Muslims, absolutely,” he added. “But the religion as a religion and as an ideology and worldview, it is contrary to Christ and America.”

Others see those words as a big step back in building interfaith relationships.

“I think there are real consequences to these types of behavior and I hope someone who listened to that does not become more radicalized where they see Muslims as a threat and they become a threat to Muslims,” said Hussein.

Then here Fox 9 published the remarks for which Father VanDenBroeke apologized.  I’m posting this so they don’t disappear.  Heck if there was a priest like this near me, I might rush back to the church!

Both as Americans and Christians we do not need to pretend that everyone who seeks entry into America should be treated the same. I believe it’s essential to consider the religion and world view of immigrants or refugees more specifically we should not allow large numbers of Muslims asylum or immigration into our country.

Islam is the greatest threat in the world both to Christianity and to America – of course there are peaceful Muslims, absolutely, but the religion as a religion and as an ideology and world view it is contrary to Christ and America.

I am not saying we hate Muslims, I am absolutely not saying that, they are people created out of love by God just as each one of us is. But while we certainly don’t hate them as people we must oppose their religion and world view.

And if we want to protect our great country, not only as a Christian nation but also as the land of the free then we must oppose the immigration of Muslims, that’s an example of keeping bad ideas out of the country that we have the right to do as a sovereign nation.

I’m not a hater for saying this I’m not saying something anti-Christian because the religion is anti-Christian.

I’m simply a realist to acknowledge that fact, they are the greatest threat to Christianity and America and we need to recognize that fact and our laws of immigration need to reflect that.

Astounding, simply astounding!  Maybe the President should invite him to the White House or the State of the Union!

Don’t miss the Church Militants report on the issue.

CAIR Crows: Muslims are Winning Big in Local Elections

Yes, and they will win even more as their population grows largely through legal immigration.

One might wonder, as I did here in 2007 why if refugees and Muslim migrants of all stripes were eager to assimilate did they need to place their people (representing their religion) into local, state and federal government?

Imam Hendi with Obama. See my 2007 post about Hendi’s visit to Saudi Arabia. https://refugeeresettlementwatch.org/2007/08/08/muslim-mayors-coming-to-a-city-near-you/

And, just imagine, I asked then, if we would blatantly say—we want Catholics, Jews, other Christians as our leaders—wouldn’t all hell break loose in the media?

Yet, no one seems to care if CAIR says we are electing our people, Muslims, everywhere we can!

I’m referring to a post I wrote in the summer of 2007 where a US Imam, Yahya Hendi, went to Saudi Arabia to brag about how they planned to elect Muslims to political office throughout America.  It is worth a read now.

ISIS might be taking the fire jihad route, but their co-religionists at CAIR etc. are changing America by changing the people.

Here is the election news that has CAIR celebrating (hat tip: Cathy):

CAIR, Jetpac, MPower Change: 26 American Muslim Candidates Win in Nov. 5 Elections for Total of 34 Muslims Elected in 2019

WASHINGTON, Nov. 6, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, and Jetpac, a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing American Muslim representation in politics and the media, and MPower Change, one of the largest Muslim-led social and racial justice organizations in the United States, today reported 26 American Muslim electoral victories nationwide in yesterday’s off-year election.

[NOTE: These results are preliminary and subject to change.]

In Lewiston, Maine Somali Safiya Khalid   was elected to city council. Lewiston is a classic study on how enclaves of refugees can change American towns. Someone should write a book about the city’s transformation in only a couple of decades. https://www.mainepublic.org/post/maine-voters-make-history-electing-immigrants-local-offices-around-state

Throughout 2019, CAIR, Jetpac and MPower Change have identified at least 34 Muslim candidates who won elections in local and statewide races across the country. More than 80 Muslims ran for office this year at the local and state level.

“These electoral victories clearly indicate that American Muslims are stepping up and showing their commitment to public service,” said CAIR National Executive Director Nihad Awad ***.

“We congratulate these Muslim trailblazers who are creating a more inclusive democracy for everyone.”

“American Muslims are running for office in large numbers because more of us are realizing that we have a unique perspective that will help fix massive inequities in healthcare, education, and the criminal legal system,” said Jetpac Executive Director Mohammed Missouri.

“We’re also aware that staying on the sidelines while anti-Muslim bigotry runs rampant will increase the threat to our community. A truly representative Democracy will help us get out of this dark era as a stronger society.”

“What do Muslim Americans do during a time of heightened Islamophobia under a xenophobic administration? We run for office and win,” said MPower Change’s Executive Director Linda Sarsour .

“Muslim Americans are engaging in the democratic process in unprecedented ways and we can’t wait to continue this wave in 2020 to save our democracy.”

***Nihad Awad joined forces with refugee contractor Church World Service on the steps of the US Capitol here recently where they demanded more refugee resettlement to Anytown, USA because what do they need the most to change America—more of their people!

Regular refugee numbers don’t tell the whole story; thousands of Afghans getting in to US each year in separate program

They are called Special Immigrant Visa holders (SIVs for short) and they supposedly helped the US in some way (or they could have helped an NGO!), sometimes as interpreters.  They and their immediate family members are welcomed to the US and treated with the same package of goodies refugees receive.

Also, we are told that the resettlement contractors are paid (by you) to place them as well, and those funds we’ve heard are helping to keep the contractors from completely going belly-up!

(See my post yesterday about the number of regular refugees admitted this fiscal year, the number is relatively low, but the SIV number is not! 2,196 Muslims were admitted as regular refugees, but add to that 9,166 Afghan Muslims in the last 11 months!)

Nato commander
Yesterday US General Austin Miller took over NATO command in Afghanistan.  We have been there for 17 years. Here is what I want to know? If we continue to bring to America the tens of thousands of Afghans who willingly helped us, won’t only the worst of the worst be left in the country?      http://www.foxnews.com/world/2018/09/02/us-general-assumes-nato-command-in-afghanistan.html

SPLC takes down their "Field Guide" to anti-Muslim extremists

Possibly getting wind of an upcoming lawsuit the Southern Poverty Law Center has apparently blinked and removed their October 2016 “Field Guide,” that included yours truly, from their website.

Muslim reformer Maajid Nawaz ultimately successfully sued the SPLC which was then forced to remove its “guide.”

The Field Guide was meant to let the media know who they were supposed to shun when seeking comment on anything to do with Islam.

If you visit my post on the ‘honor’ here you will see that the link to the news no longer works.

However, as pointed out by National Review writer Jack Crowe, the pdf version is still available.  Download it now for further reference!

The list of “extremists” besides me, included: Steve Emerson, Brigitte Gabriel, Frank Gaffney, Pamela Geller, John Guandolo, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, David Horowitz, Ryan Mauro, Robert Muise, Maajid Nawas, Daniel Pipes, Walid Shoebat, Robert Spencer, and David Yerushalmi.

As I said previously, I don’t really belong in such an august group.  My real ‘sin’ is that I was getting under the skin of the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society, one of the nine major federal refugee contractors***, and a close ally of the Southern Poverty Law Center.

On learning of the honor, I said this:

By the way, it was a study by the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society, here in 2013, that directed the SPLC to focus on my work.  I wrote about it here.

Inclusion on the list meant that I must have really hit a nerve at HIAS.

Below is what Crowe reported yesterday at National Review (hat tip: Judy):

The Southern Poverty Law Center has removed the “Field Guide to Anti-Muslim Extremists” from their website after attorneys for Maajid Nawaz, a practicing Muslim and prominent Islamic reformer, threatened legal action over his inclusion on the list.

A guide for lazy biased journalists!

The report, which had been active on the SPLC’s website since it was published in December 2016, was intended to serve as a resource for journalists to identify promoters of hateful propaganda; but it included a number of liberal reformers such as Nawaz, a former Islamic extremist who has since dedicated his life to combating the hateful ideology.

“A shocking number of these extremists are seen regularly on television news programs and quoted in the pages of our leading newspapers. There, they routinely espouse a wide range of utter falsehoods, all designed to make Muslims appear as bloodthirsty terrorists or people intent on undermining American constitutional freedoms. More often than not, these claims go uncontested,” the report, which still exists in PDF form, reads.

Nawaz, who founded the anti-extremist think tank Quilliam, said during a Wednesday night appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience, a popular podcast hosted by comedian Joe Rogan, that the report was removed from the SPLC website under legal threat sometime in the last two days.

“We have retained Clare Loch, they are writing to the Southern Poverty Law Center as we speak. I think they’ve got wind of it — the Southern Poverty Law Center — and as of yesterday, or the day before, they’ve removed the entire list that’s been up there for two years,” Nawaz said on the podcast.

Nawaz — informed by his experience as a former member of a global terror organization and a political prisoner in Egypt — routinely criticizes the fundamentalist interpretation of Islam that gives rise to terrorism. As a result of that work, the SPLC and a coalition of partner organizations that helped create the list accused him of “savaging Islam.”

Ayaan Hirsi Ali, a Somali-born liberal feminist who fled her home country amid civil war and now works at the Hoover Institution, was also branded an “anti-Muslim extremist” by the SPLC.

Go here for more of the National Review report and to follow links.

Below is a screenshot of the SPLC case against me:

***  I post the contractor list almost every day because I want new readers to know exactly who is responsible for driving the US Refugee Admissions Program (in addition to the UN!).  The Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society has taken the lead in political and legal activism against President Trump’s so-called Muslim ban.  I have a huge archive about them, see here.

The number in parenthesis is the percentage of the nine VOLAGs’ income paid by you (the taxpayer) to place the refugees, line them up with (low paying) jobs in food production and cleaning hotel rooms, and get them signed up for their services (welfare)!  From most recent accounting, here.
