Is there a plan to resettle Somali refugees in St. Maries, Idaho? How does one find out?

St. Maries Idaho
St. Maries Chamber of Commerce: “…our quant little town.” http://stmariesidaho.org/things-to-do/

Yesterday a reader sent this:

Last night I was told that Somali Refugees are going to be placed in St. Maries, Idaho sometime in September, the person who told me swore it was from a very reliable federal government connected source. I haven’t yet confirm this but would like to get the word out that refugees are NOW coming to North Idaho.

I don’t know if it’s true or not, but decided to use the information to make several key points.
One of the first questions people ask me in interviews or when speaking somewhere is this question:  How do I find out if my town is targeted for resettlement?
The answer is you won’t find out until someone leaks the information.  The program is wrapped in secrecy by the federal government and its contractors (aka Volags).
Those leaking the information may be employees of the local health department or the local school board which as “stakeholders” may get a little heads-up (we are talking weeks or a couple of months, certainly not a year).
Elected officials who may be seen as “welcoming” might also have a little warning.   And, sometimes the leakers are affiliated with some of the left-leaning churches in town where church leaders are too excited by what they see as their good fortune to stay quiet.
By law the contractors and their handlers at the state level (Jannus Inc. in Idaho) are required to “consult” with the community, but that really only means they consult with those they see as friendlies.

If you are wondering about your town, start asking around!

Also, one indicator about whether your town could be targeted is if some large industry is nearby, or planning to move to the area. Look especially for meat packing plants.  And, in Twin Falls, Idaho the Chobani yogurt plant most likely was looking for refugee laborers.  The ‘non-profit’ contractors work closely with local industries to supply big businesses with cheap immigrant workers.
You might want to ask people involved with the local Chamber of Commerce if they know of any plans!  The Chamber at the national level is outright in support of Open Borders and amnesty.

Why might there be some truth to this rumor? Why might a town like St. Maries be a target?

The proximity of a town to an already existing resettlement site is one good indicator.  The State Dept. informed me once that a 100-mile radius to an existing resettlement office would make the site fair game.  St. Maries is not near the main resettlement hubs in Idaho—Boise and Twin Falls which have received the bulk of the 6,000 plus refugees that Idaho has received since the beginning of Obama’s term in office.***
However, St. Maries is about 50 miles from the World Relief office in Spokane, Washington!  Contractors are getting desperate to find new and fresh territory as some existing sites are experiencing ‘resistance.’   Twin Falls is an important ‘Pocket of Resistance’ now so it would be no surprise for Idaho to “welcome” refugees further north.
If World Relief in Spokane is involved in placing refugees in Idaho soon, then they know right now that it could happen because they are in the process of preparing their R & P Abstract for the feds as the new fiscal year is fast approaching on October 1.  It should be legally required that those Abstracts be available to the public in advance of new resettlements!
Go here to the list of existing resettlement contractors and see if one is located near you.

I would like to appeal to all of you to send me any rumors you might hear about refugees being resettled in a town near you.

I’ll post the information, even if we have no firm information to go on.  We have a category I haven’t used much here, called ‘Rumors’ and what you hear will be cataloged there.  We would rather run down the rumors than to completely miss getting the news out about a prospective  new resettlement site.  Once a site is up and running they are hard to stop especially as the contractor will begin bringing in the relatives and if you object you will be chastised for wanting to interfere with family reunification.
This post is also archived in our new ‘Pockets of Resistance’ category for all of you wishing to learn more about what is happening around the country.
*** Idaho has received 6,158 refugees since January 2009 when Obama took office (data here).  The majority of those went to Boise and Twin Falls.  Although they received many more smaller numbers of certain ethnic groups the largest numbers came from Bhutan (1,159), Burma (1,223), Iraq (1,101), DR Congo (753), Somalia (625), Afghanistan (203), Sudan (194), Iran (157), and Uzbekistan (77).  Idaho has also gotten several of the first group of Syrians (23).
One of those Uzbeks is on trial on terrorism charges, here.  By the way, look at this, were they expecting trouble surrounding the trial?

Rainbow Nation news from PBS: Black South Africans continue persecution of other black Africans

Well at least someone in the US media is talking about it!  South Africa the highly touted welcoming “Rainbow Nation” is once again seeing serious violence erupt as South African citizens (the black ones!) are trying to push out the migrants (the black ones!) coming in from troubled nations across the continent.
The media must label it ‘xenophobia’ because the word ‘racism’ does not apply.  And, besides everyone knows that blacks cannot be racist, right!

Here is the story at the PBS Newshour. Check it out for yourself.  See the “xenophobic” violence. It isn’t just me pointing it out (although my language is a bit clearer!).
Can you blame the foreigners who heard about all the rights anyone in South Africa is entitled to under the Constitution that Nelson Mandela’s political party said were theirs—the right to a home, food, health care, education, work, blah, blah, blah.
In fact, remember that Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg famously said she liked the South African Constitution better than ours!
The migrants came for what they heard South Africa had promised!
Ask yourself, is South Africa better off today governed by the communists of the African National Congress?

The ANC`s key objective is the creation of a united, non-racial, non-sexist and democratic society.

This means the liberation of Africans in particular and black people in general from political and economic bondage. It means uplifting the quality of life of all South Africans, especially the poor.

So to American readers!

If you think South Africa’s problems are not yours, think again.   So far this year we have taken 621 REFUGEES from South Africa which is supposed to be a safe nation offering asylum to those who get there.  I’m guessing that a large number will be Somalis and that not one is white.
We have followed the violence in the mythical “Rainbow Nation” for years, see our complete archive here.

Time for all good Americans to read The Camp of the Saints

Invasion of Europe News…..
VDARE has pointed us to this Powerline post by Steven Hayward today entitled ‘Camp of the Saints, Revisited.’  I recommend this now over 40-year-old eerily prescient novel to all of you for your summertime reading ‘pleasure.’  Warning! It is not for the squeamish or faint of heart!

Camp of the Saints

Hayward says what we have been saying and why we post as often as possible on the ‘Invasion of Europe’the American media is not paying attention to the growing migration crisis in Europe.
From Powerline:

If you want to see the immigration crisis getting completely out of control, check out northern France, where several thousand “migrants”—as the press describes them—are trying to charge through the Channel Tunnel to Britain, where, they suppose, the welfare state will take care of them. It hasn’t been receiving much media coverage in the U.S., except for the Wall Street Journal, which notes today that the disruption at the Channel is bad for business.

As the Wall Street Journal quoted one aspiring client a few days ago:

“Here, no one looks after me,” the teenager said. “In the U.K., I can be a big man.”

No one looks after me. The Telos of the welfare state, in five words. More revealing is this passage:

“Stopping them is becoming very difficult since they’re just not afraid of the police anymore,” a French police officer said.

It looks more and more like Jean Raspail’s controversial 1973 novel, The Camp of the Saints, come to life.

Franklin Graham's comments about halting Muslim immigration has refugee resettlement contractor shaking

Could there be a little rebellion in the ranks?

I’m talking about federal refugee resettlement contractor World Relief (aka National Association of Evangelicals).  It seems that in the wake of Evangelist Franklin Graham’s call for a halt to Muslim immigration following the Chattanooga murder of four Marines and a Naval officer by an immigrant Islamist, the multi-faith folks went into defense mode.
What did they do?  They invited representatives of one of the most infamous mosques in the Washington area—All Dulles Area Muslim Society (Adams Center)—-and representatives of two leading Muslim Brotherhood front groups to join them in a multi-faith love fest in Washington (on Capitol Hill!) to send the message that they (including ‘Evangelists’) disagreed with Franklin Graham.
Here is the news at something called World Religion News (emphasis below is mine):
Denouncing Franklin Graham!

Bob_Roberts_Jr-238x300
Know the opposition! Bob Roberts Jr. http://globalfaithforum.com/bob-roberts-jr/

Recently, Evangelical Christian and Muslim leaders gathered at Capitol Hill, to debate a very sensitive matter, the one of Muslim immigrants in the USA. More precisely, this gathering took place on July 23, between Bob Roberts Jr., an evangelic pastor of NorthWood Church in Keller, Texas, and Muslim leaders of All Dulles Area Muslim Society, the Islamic Society of North America and the Muslim Public Affairs Council. The purpose of the gathering was to reduce the tensions created between the Evangelical Christian church and the Muslim Churches [churches? who the heck wrote this?—ed] in America and to strengthen their relationships.

But the gathering has an even more important purpose, and that is to denounce and contradict the statements released by another Evangelic leader, launched on his public social network account. Those statements were rather sensitive, not reflecting the tolerance and acceptance promoted by the Christian church, which may have detrimental backfires on a society already tried by so much violence.

It all started when Franklin Graham, son of Billy Graham, a well-known Evangelic leader, said on his Facebook profile that Muslim immigrants should not be permitted to enter the USA anymore. This happened due to a violent shootout in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where five out of seven people shot by a Muslim young man died. Ever since, even the organizations that help relocate religious refugees started facing issues. Not because they were imposed to stop helping Muslims, but because people started to be afraid to accept them. Many volunteers and churches involved in resettling actions regarding religious refugees are frightened by the fact that the Muslims will turn into dangerous terrorist or even install the Shari‘ah law, once they get settled on American land.  [Gee! wonder where they got that idea!—ed]

As interesting as all that is, this (below) is the part that jumped out at me.  So, could there be a rebellion brewing?  Are there some not-so-happy Christians working with World Relief (one of the top nine resettlement contractors)?
This is so disingenuous!  What is not being reported here is that World Relief does resettle significant numbers of Muslim refugees because they must in order to get their federal contracts (read: federal cold hard cash!).
And, by the way, the federal government disallows any proselytizing by its contractors.  Some uninformed supporters of the federal contractors will tell you that they want to get the Muslims here to convert them to Christianity, don’t believe them.
World Religion News continued….

Graham’s statement is also not seen very well by World Relief, an organization based in Baltimore, which helps religious refugees to start a new life in America. Since they work mainly with church volunteers, they also faced the fear of some churches to accept Muslim refugees. World Relief mainly takes care of Christian refugees, but they never refused any person in need of help, regardless of their religion or background. Still, they know that by refusing to accept a Muslim refugee, they will also face problems with the Christian ones as well, as it will as well become harder for them to enter the resettling program.  [Huh?—ed]

Here is Franklin Graham’s website.  You might want to reach out to him and tell him you support what he said about Muslim immigration.
Editor’s note:
A reader suggested that when I write a post relating to Muslim immigration to be sure to remind you that this is the Hijra—Mohammed’s command to migrate and spread Islam across the world.  In order to succeed in building a worldwide caliphate, what do they need?  Numbers of course!
And, two more things:  My first post this morning is also labeled ‘Know the opposition.’  See our category entitled ‘The Opposition’ for more such posts.
Follow me on twitter!  There is so much happening that I can’t possibly post on it all, so I have been sending refugee/immigration articles to twitter.  I am @refugeewatcher.

Frank Sharry of 'America's Voice' blasts Trump, but where is the attack on Bernie?

Know the opposition!

America’s Voice is one more of those well-funded No Borders organizations that promotes “comprehensive immigration reform.”
They loved the bill the Gang of Eight (supported by Graham, McCain and Rubio) got through the Senate two years ago, a bill which would have expanded the refugee program and given more money to the nine federal contractors to do the work of getting the newly amnestied their “services” (aka welfare).  Incidentally the contractors lobbied for the Gang of Eight bill and probably used your tax dollars to do it!

Here Frank Sharry’s organization blasts Trump in an e-mail to their supporters and tells them they want a “comprehensive” bill just like last time.  (hat tip: Jim)  By the way, they want a “comprehensive” bill so as to hide all the giveaway goodies in over a thousand pages of unreadable gobbledegook!
America’s Voice:

Have you heard about Donald Trump’s latest attack on immigrant families?

Last week, during an interview with CNN, Donald Trump stated that his plan for the 11 million undocumented immigrants would be to “find them, and get them out.” When pressed on this point, Trump just reiterated that he would get immigrants “out” of the United States.

This is just the latest attack on our communities from Donald Trump and his supporters. Meanwhile, anti-immigrant extremists in Congress are looking to capitalize on the momentum generated by Donald Trump by introducing enforcement-only legislation that scapegoats immigrant communities.

Click here (http://act.americasvoice.org/page/s/DumpTrump) and tell our allies in Congress to stand against Donald Trump and anti-immigrant extremists.

You and I are familiar with the grotesque comments that Donald Trump made about immigrants living in the United States. As we continue to approach the first Republican Presidential debate, there are no indications that Donald Trump will tone down his anti-immigrant rhetoric.

If Republicans want to get serious about reforming our broken immigration system, they need to publicly denounce Trump’s hateful comments towards immigrants, and propose solutions to achieve bipartisan comprehensive immigration reform — just like the bill passed by Senate Republicans and Democrats back in 2013.

Congress should be seeking to enact comprehensive immigration reform, not considering policies that further increase deportation.

It is time for our allies in Congress to stand against Donald Trump and his enforcement-only inspired policies. Now is not the time to give Donald Trump and his supporters in Congress a free pass to attack immigrant communities.

We need our allies in Congress to stand against anti-immigrant legislation! Click here to ask they oppose all Trump-style, enforcement-only policies.

Thank you for your support,

America’s Voice

But what about Bernie?

Did you see what Bernie Sanders said recently about open borders—-it would make America poorer to flood the country with low-skilled/low-wage labor!

This is Byron York writing at the Washington Examiner a few days ago (if you missed it!).

As a socialist moving up in the Democratic presidential polls, Bernie Sanders raises the expectations of many on the Left. Some assume Sanders believes what they believe and are disappointed if they discover he does not. In a newly-published interview, Vox founder Ezra Klein, an advocate of an open-borders immigration policy, asked a question virtually inviting Sanders to agree with Klein about allowing any and all would-be immigrants to come to the United States. Sanders most emphatically did not go along:

Klein: You said being a democratic socialist means a more international view. I think if you take global poverty that seriously, it leads you to conclusions that in the US are considered out of political bounds. Things like sharply raising the level of immigration we permit, even up to a level of open borders. About sharply increasing …

Sanders: Open borders? No, that’s a Koch brothers proposal.

Klein: Really?

Sanders: Of course. That’s a right-wing proposal, which says essentially there is no United States …

Klein: But … it would make a lot of global poor richer, wouldn’t it?

Sanders: It would make everybody in America poorer — you’re doing away with the concept of a nation state, and I don’t think there’s any country in the world that believes in that.

[….]

What right-wing people in this country would love is an open-border policy. Bring in all kinds of people, work for $2 or $3 an hour, that would be great for them.

Right on Bernie!  Cheap immigrant labor—just what we have been saying all along!   And, what is so maddening to me is that the Catholics, Lutherans and Evangelicals are all-in to help bring in cheap labor to compete with low income and minority Americans!
We will be waiting to see if America’s Voice blasts Bernie (publicly).
