…get this! 40% of Democrats agree! Ben Carson and Donald Trump agreed on the campaign trail that we must re-examine our refugee policy.
I love how this is written. The Reuters reporter says only 40% of Dems have the same fear. Holy cow, that is a lot of people! Consider also that 74% of plain vanilla Republicans also worry about the resettlement of Middle Eastern refugees into their towns.
I would have guessed the Dems would be a far lower percentage than 40% (so does that mean there might be inroads into the Democratic electorate for Trump?). Reuters:
Supporters of Donald Trump, the presumptive U.S. Republican presidential nominee, see refugees arriving from Iraq and Syria as one of the greatest threats to the United States, according to a study released on Thursday by the Pew Research Center.
Eighty-five percent of respondents who said they supported Trump saw the refugees fleeing the Islamic State militant group as a threat, compared with 74 percent of Republicans overall, said the study.

Only 40 percent of Democrats viewed the refugees from the region as a major threat.
The Dems must be told over and over again that Hillary will continue the Obama push for more and more Syrian and Iraqi refugees to colonize America!
North Dakota is a Wilson-Fish state whose refugee program has, for about 6 or 7 years now, been run by a non-profit group, a Lutheran resettlement contractor.
This is big news to add to other big news we’ve had over the last few days and weeks about possible challenges to the federal government on how it turns over decisions on who is resettled and where and the resultant expenditure of tax dollars via unelected NGOs. (I am over simplifying, but W-F is all about the availability of welfare dollars to refugees and the job of the NGOs to make sure they get their ‘services.’).

State Rep. Al Carlson of Fargo, the Republican Majority Leader in the North Dakota House of Representatives, tells Breitbart News he wants the state to sue the federal government over the refugee resettlement program.
What is this you ask? It is a map distorted to show which states are disproportionately receiving refugees based on their overall populations. As in Tennessee, where the General Assembly recently declared its intent to sue the federal government on Tenth Amendment constitutional grounds, North Dakota is one of fourteen states that have withdrawn from the federal refugee resettlement program where the federal government continues to resettle refugees under the Wilson-Fish alternative program.
“If that Tennessee lawsuit is going forward when the state legislature convenes in January, I would push to do that,” Carlson tells Breitbart News about passing legislation authorizing North Dakota to sue the federal government over refugee resettlement on Tenth Amendment grounds.
“I think the current Attorney General [Wayne Stenehjem] would be behind doing that as well. I don’t know about the other candidate for governor,” he adds.
Gov. Jack Dalrymple, a Republican, could initiate such a lawsuit without waiting for the North Dakota State Legislature to act, but he has given no indication he intends to do so.

Roughly 160,000 refugees are looking for host nations, and many governments within the EU have accepted the Brussels-based quota, but Hungarian leadership stresses national sovereignty above all else. The travelers in question are comprised of refugees from war-torn countries and migrants seeking better opportunities.
Prime Minister Viktor Orban has increased his anti-immigrant rhetoric since the migrant crisis began a year ago and has differed with Brussels immensely. The prime minister does not share the EU’s vision of helping new arrivals find a better life and believes mass Muslim migration threatens Christian values.

Even though Germany is the most powerful member of the EU, many German towns struggle to accommodate large groups of migrants due to a lack of space and funding. Hungary is hesitant to give up some of its national sovereignty in the name of globalism, but policymakers will inevitably have to make some concessions to Brussels.
Hungary is an EU member and relies on Eurozone funding to finance infrastructure projects, but faces further isolation from the bloc.
The US referendum will be the 2016 Presidential election!
In the US we will be getting our own version of a referendum on whether America will bow to the globalists and pro-open borders forces as represented by Hillary Clinton, or will we choose the America First views of Donald Trump. And, even if you don’t believe Trump will follow through, that doesn’t negate the stark choice you will be making with your vote if those two are the candidates for the US Presidency in November. This UN/US Refugee Admissions Program will never be reformed in a Hillary presidency and will be proceeding full steam ahead (and probably at an even higher rate) if she is elected. Any #never Trump people who don’t vote for Trump will be voting for Muslim migration to America to be put on steroids.

They are talking big about not being bothered by the news from Kansas and New Jersey, but believe me they are getting nervous!
Who is “they?” That would be the open-borders cabal that includes the American Civil Liberties Union (as we are learning here), and Human Rights First (see our previous post). It surely includes the nine major federal contractors responsible for placing refugees in your towns as well. Sue Christie sue!
If they are so confident that refugee resettlement can continue without slowdown if a governor takes the state out of the program, then why is the ACLU bothering to badger Christie?
For new readers, it all began recently with the move by the Tennessee legislatureto vote to sue the feds on States’ Rights grounds.
Once a state opts-out of the program (TN opted-out nearly ten years ago), the federal government claims they can simply assign a non-profit group to run things for the federal government in that state. But, it’s looking like they haven’t a legal leg to stand on and so if a governor withdraws his/her state and follows up with step #2—suing the federal government when they assign a non-profit group to determine how state and local tax dollars are expended—this program could be ground to a halt.

TRENTON — The American Civil Liberties Union of New Jersey is calling on Republican Gov. Chris Christie to reconsider withdrawing from a federal refugee resettlement program.
The group sent Christie a letter Tuesday arguing that the state has a long history of welcoming refugees from across the world.
Christie’s office did not immediately reply to a message seeking comment.
The group says the letter comes in response to the Christie administration’s decision last month to notify the U.S. Refugee Resettlement Program that it intended to pull out.
For new readers, in addition to New Jersey and Kansas, these (below) are the so-called Wilson-Fish states where the federal program is being run by mostly unaccountable-to-the-taxpayers non-profit groups.
Folks in NJ and Kansas need to thank your governors and urge them to take step #2!

And, one last thing, for the life of me I have never been able to understand how the ACLU can look the other way on the separation of church and state when these ‘religious’ groups are paid by the taxpayer to resettle refugees. I guess it’s simply the fact that these ‘religious’ groups are on the political Left as is the ACLU!
In a press release yesterday, Eleanor Acer, a head honcho of Human Rights First alerts the media that only 451 Syrians were admitted to the US in the month of April. As we reported here, a few weeks ago, in order for Obama to reach his goal of 10,000 by September 30th, he would have to get them in here at a much higher monthly rate.
Obama has to get 1,652 Syrians on to US soil every month for each of the remaining 5 months of the fiscal year and that is why you are seeing the scrambling going on to open up resettlement offices in new and unsuspecting towns and cities. (That is in addition to the thousands of others from around the world needed to reach his overall goal of 85,000 refugees this year.) New York City—The State Department today released its official resettlement numbers for April, indicating that it resettled 451 Syrian refugees last month. This brings the seven-month total so far this fiscal year to 1,736 Syrian refugees, amounting to 17.4% of the 10,000 Syrian refugees the U.S. government has pledged to resettle by September 30, 2016.
“While the April numbers indicate a slight improvement in the pace of resettlement of vulnerable Syrian families, the United States is still alarmingly behind with more than 82% of its resettlement goal remaining for this fiscal year,”said Human Rights First’s Eleanor Acer. “U.S. agencies should enhance efforts to address the backlogs and delays that are hampering the country’s ability to meet its goals. The United States cannot lead by example unless the administration meets this year’s very modest goal and sets a more meaningful and ambitious goal for next year. As the world leader in refugee resettlement, the United States has the capacity and security processes in place to lead a comprehensive global effort to address the refugee crisis and resettle far beyond 10,000 Syrian refugees.”
Acer is clearly worried about recent developments in New Jersey and Kansas, but is quick to note that the feds will simply go around the governors and place the mostly Muslim Syrians with unelected non-profit organizations. (Of course, unless these governors wise-up and sue the feds the minute they do it!)
The governors of New Jersey and Kansas have recently taken action to end state participation in the federal refugee resettlement program. These efforts will not prohibit federal resettlement of refugees in these states through local resettlement agencies…
Then this! Don’t forget that they all really wanted 100,000 Syrians in here by the time Obama leaves office!(Click on the link below and see who ‘they’ are!). Their nutty theory is that if we “welcome” all these Muslims to America the troublemakers in the Middle East will like us more!
A bipartisan group of former humanitarian and national security officials has recommended that the United States resettle 100,000 Syrian refugees, and the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom has also recommended that the United States resettle 100,000 vulnerable Syrian refugees.
I’m beginning to wonder if the problem is that they can’t find even 10,000 who want to come here!
