Comment worth noting: Somalian Princess says they will leave when Somalia is peaceful

This is a comment that was just posted at one of our most read posts of all time.    “How did we get so many Somali refugees—the numbers are tellinghere, has had 13,703 readers over the years since I first posted it in 2008.    Today “Somalian Princess” left this comment which I am posting here because most of  you will never see it where it was posted.

She is responding to another reader who suggested Somalis go back to Africa:

U go back to England u evil person and i will go back to Africa, Deal?

ALso, Africa’s only behind because your people were stealing our resources for centuries U evil white people killed everyone, so go back to dry, boring, europe and go eat your pork, beer GM food. hahahahahahahha. Plus living in europe is rather [expletive deleted] u have [expletive deleted] weather, [expletive deleted] food and the most racist and evilist people i have ever seen. Most somalis would do anything to go back to somalia we are just waiting until it is peaceful. Also, if u are living in America, America belongs to the native peoples not white people same with Austrialia it belongs to the Aborigines

As far as I can tell the violence in Somalia these days has nothing to do with white people.  Looks like African on African violence to me.  Maybe Somalian Princess should go back now and try to bring peace to HER people, or is she waiting for us evil westerners to solve Somalia’s problems?

Coincidentally, I just mentioned “boring” England earlier this morning here, where a religion of peace gang slashed up a teacher.

UK Diversity is beautiful alert!

Since the UK is far more “advanced” than we are in its “welcoming” approach to Muslim immigration, from time to time we bring you stories from across the pond so that you can vicariously experience the joys of multicultural understanding. Hat tip: Ed.

UK teacher brutally slashed/beaten for teaching that other religions exist! From the Daily Mail:

Four men launched a horrific attack on a teacher in which they slashed his face and left him with a fractured skull because they did not approve of him teaching religion to Muslim girls.

Akmol Hussein, 26, Sheikh Rashid, 27, Azad Hussain, 25, and Simon Alam, 19, attacked Gary Smith with a Stanley knife, an iron rod and a block of cement.

Mr Smith, who is head of religious education at Central Foundation Girls’ School in Bow, east London, also suffered a fractured skull.

The four now face a jail sentence.

Detectives made secret recordings of the gang’s plot to attack Mr Smith prior to the brutal assault. [When you read this didn’t you wonder, what the ****, why weren’t they arrested before they assaulted Smith, if the police knew of the plan?—ed]

The covert audio probe captured the gang condemning Mr Smith for ‘teaching other religions to our sisters’, the court heard.

Sad to say, but the UK is so far gone that their likely response to all this will be—guess we won’t teach anything in our schools that might offend the adherents of the religion of peace!

State Senator takes major step to reform refugee program in Tennessee

In what may be the first such effort in the Nation, Tennessee State Senator Jim Tracy has introduced a bill that seeks to regain some local and state control over the refugee resettlement program in his state—control that has been gradually usurped by the US State Department, the US Dept. of Health and Human Services and unelected federal contractors.

When the Refugee Resettlement Act (Kennedy, Biden and Jimmy Carter) was passed in Congress and signed into law in 1980, the law required “consultation” with local governments but that requirement is almost never followed except in the most cursory way.

The Act also made a provision for a state to opt-out of the refugee program altogether.  Today only Wyoming takes no refugees.

From the Shelbyville Times Gazette today:

SB1670 is another bill Tracy filed with Bedford County in mind. The proposed legislation would codify federal regulations to ensure that local communities would be able to absorb refugees.

The bill would make sure that a town’s “absorptive capacity” would be evaluated at regular intervals in consultation between the local governments and the resettlement agencies before commitments are made for refugee resettlement.

A number of refugees from a variety of countries, such as Somali, Burma and Egypt, have moved to Shelbyville to be closer to jobs at the Tyson Foods facility.

Tracy said that there has been “a lot of discussion across the state about this, particularly in Bedford County … but other counties also.” The proposed bill would require resettlement agencies to let local governments know when a large number of refugees are coming “because it puts a burden on the local community.”

The bill would require the charitable organizations that sponsor the refugees to let the state know when refugees are coming, how many, “what they’re (the agencies) getting paid and where the money is going.”

In 2008, the state withdrew from administering refugee services, but appointed Catholic Charities as the fiduciary agency for the state’s refugee programs.

The Tennessee Office for Refugees, a department of Catholic Charities, would be required to meet four times a year with local governments representatives to plan and coordinate the appropriate placement of refugees in advance of their arrival.
“Right now, communities don’t know when that’s going to happen,” Tracy explained. “It puts a burden on local communities, whether they be law enforcement, schools, or those kind of things.”

The state refugee office would also be required to accept applications from a local government for a moratorium on new resettlement if the host community “lacks sufficient absorptive capacity,” the bill reads.

If a determination is made that further resettlement in the host community “would result in an adverse impact to existing residents,” then the Tennessee Office for Refugees would suspend additional resettlement until it is jointly determined by local officials and the state refugee coordinator that there is an “absorptive capacity.”

The bill is cosponsored by Sens. Ken Yager and Rusty Crowe, with the House version of the bill introduced by Rep. Bill Dunn of the 16th District.

This concept of “sufficient absorptive capacity” sounds similar to a proposal I’ve mentioned several times on these pages and that is that a “social and economic impact assessment” should be made by the US State Department in advance of refugees being placed in a new refugee resettlement site and a periodic reassessment be made for existing refugee resettlement “preferred” communities.    Right now the Volags (a misnomer because they are not voluntary but paid federal contractors) literally sit around a table putting pins in a map and tag-you-are-it if they think your town has jobs, social services and public housing available.

By the way, when the Obama Administration came into power, with much fanfare in the White House they set out to “reform” the refugee program.  The only thing that came out of that was to throw more money at it (which Congress now has to take away) and I see back in June I said their reform was meaningless, here.

All eyes on Tennessee!

Diversity is beautiful alert: Hispanics torturing roosters in California

From CBS Sacramento:

EL DORADO COUNTY (CBS13) – Two men are under arrest and nearly 250 birds euthanized in connection with a large cockfighting operation, according to El Dorado County officials.

The operation was discovered after a routine traffic stop on Sunday in Diamond Springs. El Dorado County Sheriff’s deputies pulled over a pick up truck and noticed a suspicious box in the back of the truck.

When deputies opened the box, they found two roosters with injuries consistent with cockfighting. They also found several metal blades known as “slashers” that are typically strapped to the legs of fighting roosters.

Deputies arrested the driver, Saul Cuevas Ayala, and passenger, Rogelio Reyes-Higareda, on charges associated with cockfighting.

Later that day, deputies and Animal Service Officers served a search warrant at Ayala’s Grass Valley home and uncovered what officials are calling a fairly large scale cockfighting operation. They found nearly 250 game birds and fighting implements.

How about if Ayala and Reyes-Higareda return to the cultures where they can practice this heinous “sport” legally.

No leading Republican Presidential wannabe willing to tackle “refugee fraud”

NJ Governor Chris Christie gets an F!

Only one, and she is not a front-runner, has done anything to take on the thorny issue of fraud in the refugee program.

NumbersUSA has ranked some top Presidential contenders for 2012 on their immigration positions.  You can see their scores here.    I argued with NumbersUSA that Palin should be graded higher because she did stand up very visibly in support of Governor Jan Brewer and the Arizona Law when that issue burst on the national scene. None of the others said much.

I also argued that Pawlenty, as governor of Minnesota, apparently turned a blind eye to the huge resettlement of refugees into his state, especially presiding over Minneapolis becoming the Somali (crime) capitol of the US and thus should not have gotten the highest grade (C+) of the front-runners.

Today I see that  NumbersUSA has, at the behest of members, given grades to Rep. Michele Bachmann and to NJ Governor Chris Christie, here.  (Neither are considered front-runners at this time.)

Bachmann got a B-.   And, she got a “good” rating for being willing to tackle refugee fraud. (see all ratings here, scroll down page).* I am not surprised to see that Christie, once a favorite of mine, got an F.

Christie also has come under enormous criticism recently (especially among anti-jihadists) for his appointment of a controversial Muslim attorney to a Court position in New Jersey causing this opinion writer at the Star Ledger to question how “conservative” Christie actually is.  He sums up with this:

I wish some of these radio clowns and talking heads on TV would – to put it bluntly – stop kissing his butt and ask the tough question.

If Norquist praises Christie, well then?

It also gave me pause to hear Grover Norquist play the “bigot” card and then praise Christie and former President George Bush as two politicians who court (or courted) the Muslim vote (we know where that got Bush).  From Politico (Right fractures over Islam):

The Republican party chased away the Catholic vote for over a hundred years,” said Grover Norquist, an ACU board member and a tax activist who has tried to bring Muslim voters in to the GOP for more than a decade. “You chase away people politically. The thing about the political effects of bigotry — it can last generations. It’s tough to fix.”  [Here Norquist sounds like he has taken the talking points of the Leftist open borders gang—oh, that’s right Norquist IS OPEN BORDERS!—ed.]

“The answer is some people are and some people aren’t,” Norquist later told POLITICO in response to a question about whether Republicans were making an effort to court Muslim voters. “Certainly, Chris Christie in New Jersey is. George W. Bush was.”

Someone needs to warn Christie to keep his distance from Norquist!

* I wonder does Rep. Michele Bachmann understand that there is an on-going effort to saturate a city in her district—St. Cloud—with refugees, especially Somali refugees?  St. Cloud had been a secondary migration site but is now a primary resettlement city thanks to the US State Department and the federal contractors working there.  Readers, this is how they do it!
