Report: Nine Somalis deported from the US, returned to Mogadishu?

If this story is true, I am blown away!   And, if it’s true these must be some really bad dudes because we have been too wussy to deport to Somalia (and the UN would be screaming bloody murder and calling us names).

If it’s true, is the Obama Administration keeping it quiet for some reason—don’t want to scare the public about who is here among us already?

From a not well-known publication (and I searched to find this two-week-old story at a recognized media outlet but couldn’t find it):

(Medeshi )- April 16,2012 – Nine Somalis deported from the US arrived at Mogadishu airport on Monday morning . They were immediately searched thoroughly by the security forces and put under investigation .

The Somali minister of Interior , Abdisamad Mualin told VOA Somali news that “ these people that have been returned from the US will be investigated for security reasons before they are released to the city “ . The minister continued that “the nine Somalis will be investigated for any criminal records or terrorist activities before they are released into the public“ .

The reason for the deportation by the US of these nine persons who are all male is not known. Many European countries have also recently declared that they will return to Somalia those that they don’t want to stay in their countries.

Back in March we had this fishy story about how the Obama Administration was going to deport an entire Somali family as part of their campaign to generate sympathy for those who might be deported.  But, the nine supposedly deported earlier this month are all men, not a family.

Cuban refugee charged in sex crime

This is just one more crime story involving a refugee—a Cuban this time.  But, I’m posting it because we often forget that we are still admitting thousands upon thousands of so-called “refugees” from Cuba each year.  As a matter of fact, according to the 2005 Annual Report to Congress, here, in the year this guy got in, he came with 21,419 other Cubans.  All of them are here legally and are allowed to work and apply for welfare benefits.

Here is the story from Lubbock, TX:

The arrest warrant of a former Frenship ISD custodian who was charged with sexual assault confirmed his status as a Cuban national and refugee in this country.

Marcelo Salas is being held at the Lubbock County Detention Center on one count of sexual assault, two counts of assault and one count of disorderly conduct.

The arrest warrant filed by FISD Detective Rosanna Langston on April 20 briefly described Salas’ immigration status.

Rhonda Dillard, director of human resources for FISD, told Langston that Salas is a Cuban national, according to the warrant. At that point, Langston contacted Border Patrol Agent John Parum, who confirmed Salas’ nationality and added he was a refugee as of April 2005.

What do you think the odds are that he will be shipped back to Cuba?  Zip, zero, nada!

Tennessee Somali sex trafficking trial points to immigration fraud truth

And, that immigration fraud could end up causing the prosecutors to lose this case.

I haven’t seen the very latest on the trial that was supposed to wrap up yesterday, but here is an AP story from Thursday.  At least from this report it doesn’t look like a guilty verdict for at least the CHILD sex trafficking charges can hold up:

Jennifer Thompson, defense attorney for Idris Ibrahim Fahra, said Jane Doe No. 2 was a runaway who manipulated people around her and was fed information from a St. Paul police investigator.

Only when the witness got into trouble, “that’s when she plays the victim card,” Thompson argued.

She pointed out the witness, also Somali, doesn’t know her age because her birth certificate was faked. [and, the US State Department never found that out before they let her (and the men too) and thousands like them into the US!—ed]

Thompson contended Jane Doe No. 2 was “a grown-up” as old or older than the men she was having sex with.

Let me put this the way the Left would put it—Somalis come from a culture that condones lying (ie. it is not their fault, their culture makes them do it).

A reminder:  as many as 36,000 Africans (mostly Somalis) entered the US by lying about family relationships

Back in 2008 the US State Department discovered wide-spread fraud in the so-called P-3 family reunification program mostly involving Somalis.  Surprise! They lied about family connections.  Here, officials put the estimate of fraudulent entries between the years 2003 and 2008 at 36,000!

So, in fact, we don’t know who these people are who are on trial in Tennessee let alone their birth dates.

For all of our earlier posts on the Tennessee case, type “Somali sex trafficking” into our search function.

For new readers: see the sidebar where it says “top posts” and today there are 8 of 12 top posts on Somalis.  Our top post, probably of all time, is the one about how we got so many Somalis (a post with over 21,000 readers).  And, by the way, the years we permitted the largest number of Somalis to enter the US are three years following 9/11 (2004, 2005, 2006…all Bush years).
