Alert! Refugee resettlement industry/media pushing Obama to raise the ceiling for this year’s refugees to accommodate Syrians

We have mentioned this previously, but the pieces began to come together over the last few days when first, David Miliband (head honcho of refugee contractor the International Rescue Committee), penned his Washington Post op-ed on the subject, and then I happened to catch Fareed Zakaria’s guilt-tripping report on the Syrian refugees here at ‘Fareed Zakaria—GPS.‘   Zakaria said the US isn’t doing enough!

All of the players in the refugee industry were counting on a large number of Syrians to enter the US in FY2015 until…..

The FBI sends resettlement industry into a tailspin with Hill testimony!

CNN’s Fareed Zakaria told viewers that the US isn’t doing enough for Syrian refugees and we need to bring more to the US for your already overloaded towns and cities.

The UN High Commissioner for Refugees (which picks our refugees and has 10,000 mostly Muslim Syrians queued-up for America right now), the US State Department (which was promising we would take 9,000-10,000 this year!), and the federal contractors *** (looking for more paying “clients” aka refugees) basically got kicked in the teeth a few weeks ago when the other partner in the resettlement process—the Department of Homeland Security (FBI) told the House Homeland Security Committee that they can’t properly screen for terrorist connections in the Syrian refugee population because there is no way to gather information on them.

So the flow to America is going to be slow and the numbers no where near the 10,000 and up this year that the contractors were pushing for!

(ISIS has said it will use the refugee stream to get into Europe, so why not the US as well!)

The sob-story lobbying campaign to go around the FBI has begun!

There is a track record of the contractors, open borders advocacy groups, and the media teaming up to circumvent procedures in Washington to get what they want—more refugees than your cities can manage.  (If anyone needs evidence, let me know, we have it all archived here).

Make no mistake, the majority of Syrian refugees the UN has chosen for America are Sunni Muslims!

When Zakaria looked into the camera this past weekend with sad eyes and made his plea for America to take in more Syrians he didn’t tell Americans that the FBI had already said that the numbers would be small for NATIONAL SECURITY REASONS.

I can’t impress on readers enough, you must speak out and tell Washington—tell your elected representatives—that we should not be resettling any more Syrian Muslims! 

If Obama is going to make a move to raise the ceiling, from a total of 70,000 refugees this year to perhaps 100,000 as the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society is demanding to accommodate Syrians, it will be soon!

One thing you might do, if you are concerned about the Christians, the Yazidis, and other religious minorities is to tell your representatives that we will only take the persecuted minorities (Canada has already said that those will be their priority) and watch the UN rage!  Real Christians will offer to help sponsor them and not expect the US taxpayer to shoulder the entire burden.

This is an update of our post from Sunday where we reported that Somali students claim they are being bullied because they are Somali Muslims.

One more reason your town should resist if a new refugee resettlement site is being planned!

Members of the St. Cloud Somali community have assembled a task force of around 15 people to meet with St. Cloud school district officials and seek a “peaceful resolution” after ethnic tensions flared at Technical High School last week. Members of the task force could meet with Superintendent Willie Jett as early as Wednesday.

Abdul Kulane, a Somali community leader and former City Council candidate, said at least 200 community members gathered Saturday at St. Cloud Public Library and chose people from different segments of the Somali population who intend to talk about what they see as a pattern of bullying and discrimination at the school. The task force includes parents of Tech students, community elders and other leaders, and two Tech students.

“We wanted the full community to be represented,” Kulane said. “We want people to put their heads together and have a meaningful dialogue. It’s not going to work if it’s just the students, or just the parents.”

Members of the task force met Monday to solidify an agenda before meeting with officials.

District spokeswoman Tami DeLand said Jett is planning to meet with members of the task force this week. DeLand said Jett met with Somali community elders Saturday.

“All of these meetings are intended to be problem-solving,” DeLand said. “The superintendent’s agenda is to make sure that our mission is carried out at Tech High School and all our schools, and that all students feel welcome.”

Separately, representatives from the Council on American-Islamic Relations met Monday evening with Tech students and community leaders after being contacted by them last week, said CAIR Executive Director Jaylani Hussein.

As a civil rights organization, Hussein said it is supporting community efforts and will work with all parties to settle any cases in the short term. Most of that happens through negotiations and conversations, he said.

“Dialogue is when real solutions happen,” he said. “Especially issues like this require dialogue. Right now, we support the community’s efforts … and are working hand in hand.”

They discussed specific issues the students had been reporting to the media. Hussein said they also discussed some of the steps the district was supposed to take as part of its lawsuit settlement with CAIR in 2011.

To be honest, I would be pulling my kids out of any of these schools with this kind of conflict!

I was looking for something else and came across this informative article at the Migration Policy Institute (MPI).  I’ve written critically, here in 2011, about MPI which advances an Open borders agenda sandwiched between articles like this one entitled: ‘Frequently Requested Statistics on Immigrants and Immigration in the United States.’  I assume their statistics are accurate. Montana: Colombian refugee charged with sexually assaulting child

Whew!  This story from the Bozeman Daily Chronicle (hat tip: Paul) gives me an opportunity to mention two things.  First Montana takes only a few refugees a year and second did you know we were taking “refugees” from Colombia?  I did, but rarely do we see anything in the news about that stream of refugees to America.

Five months into fiscal year 2015, we have resettled 273 “refugees” from the South American country of Colombia.  How this guy got to Montana as a cleaning contractor, from Arizona where he supposedly has a family, remains a mystery.  Do cleaning contractors send teams out to other states?  Is there no one in Montana willing to clean?

Barreiro-Guerrero with translator. Remember “welcoming” communities! You pay for the translators!

A man accused of sexually assaulting a young girl in a grocery store bathroom over the weekend was ordered held in jail Monday on $500,000 bail.

Johnny Barreiro-Guerrero, 39, has been charged with felony sexual assault, felony assault on a minor and misdemeanor indecent exposure. Gallatin County Justice Court Judge Bryan Adams set Barreiro-Guerrero’s bail.

The alleged victim, a 7-year-old girl, said that when she was in the bathroom, Barreiro-Guerrero kissed her, held her against a wall and touched her sexually. She said during the encounter, Barreiro-Guerrero also unzipped his pants and showed her his penis.

At the store, officers contacted Barreiro-Guerrero, who matched the description given by the girl. Barreiro-Guerrero only speaks Spanish, so a translator assisted a detective during an interview.

Barreiro-Guerrero, who identified himself as a Columbian refugee, said he was in the women’s bathroom cleaning when he heard the girl come in. He said he didn’t leave when the girl entered and he saw her wash her hands. [He claims not to have touched her—ed]

During Barreiro-Guerrero’s court appearance Monday, Gallatin County Deputy Attorney Jesse Bushnell requested the $500,000 bond.

Bushnell called Barreiro-Guerrero a “danger to the community” and said the “randomness” of the offense and the age of the alleged victim warranted a high bond.

Bushnell also said that Barreiro-Guerrero is a flight risk. He has no ties to Montana and had a plane ticket scheduled to leave the state Monday, Bushnell said.

Remember stories like this one when the feds promise you that refugees are very carefully screened!

Europe has not yet developed the backbone that Australia has in blocking invasion

More ‘Invasion of Europe’ news…..

This is yet one more story about the invasion of Europe and how the continent is bracing for the next onslaught of migrants from North Africa as spring advances, but near the end of the Breitbart piece the answer to the dilemma is clear to all who are willing to see it—the invaders must be blocked as Australia is demonstrating!

It is “relatively easy” for jihadists to gain access to the European Union by coming with an influx of refugees, the head of the European Union’s counter-terrorism group has warned.

Although jihadists have to this point seemed to find no difficulty in slipping between Europe and the Islamic State by way of porous eastern borders and Turkey, the enormous volume of humans crossing the Mediterranean every week, and EU-funded efforts to help them, appears to be offering another route of ingress. Counter-terror chief Gilles de Kerchove said: “We must be vigilant. It is relatively easy to enter into the European Union when one joins an influx of refugees”, reports TheLocal.at.

Australia is proving it can be done (a nation can save itself)!

Terrorists entering a nation posing as innocent refugees and applying for asylum is a problem with which Australia has grappled, and solved. A terrorist arrested in February for conspiracy to commit murder by stabbing blonde people in the kidneys with hunting knives arrived in the country by boat using a false passport during the Labor-party era of open borders. The new policy of using the Royal Australian Navy to turn migrant boats away has sent such an effective message to would-be travellers only one boat attempted the journey in the whole of 2014.
