Hurry! Get those New Americans their citizenship before September 2016 (government grants fueling the process)

Since I’ve been fixated on the Obama plan to replace (old) Americans with New Americans.  You know the “seedling” plan!   And, then we learned that there is even a non-profit group funded by big money foundations also pushing for immigrants to get their legal permanent resident status swapped for citizenship called the New Americans Campaign, you should know that your tax dollars are fueling the process!

As if it’s any surprise, we learned in our previous post that immigrants most often vote for the Democratic Party!

Citizenship class in Maryland run jointly by Casa de Maryland and AmeriCorps. Your tax dollars at work! http://www.citizenshipmd.org/classes/

From the Dept. of Homeland Security (USCIS) comes this pipeline flowing with your money to ‘non-profits’ to get those immigrants signed up pronto! before a deadline of September 2016 (gee, I wonder what the rush might be!).  (hat tip: Richard at Blue Ridge Forum):

Citizenship and Integration Grant Program

On Sept. 18, 2014, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced the award of nearly $10 million in grants to 40 organizations that will help permanent residents prepare and apply for U.S. citizenship. Located in 24 states and the District of Columbia, these organizations will receive federal funding to support citizenship preparation services for permanent residents through September 2016.

[….]

Grant recipients are public or private nonprofit organizations with recent experience providing citizenship instruction and naturalization application services to permanent residents. They include public school systems, community and faith-based groups, adult education organizations, and literacy organizations.

Recipient organizations are geographically diverse and represent both traditional immigrant destinations and new immigrant gateways across 24 states and the District of Columbia. Grant recipients plan to provide citizenship instruction and naturalization application services to approximately 22,000 permanent residents from more than 50 countries. Grant recipients represent:

Eighteen of the top 20 states with the largest permanent resident populations (California, New York, Florida, Texas, Illinois, Massachusetts, Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Washington, Michigan, North Carolina, Arizona, Ohio, Minnesota, Colorado, and Connecticut);

Eight of the top 10 metropolitan areas with the most new permanent residents in the past 10 years (New York City, Los Angeles, Miami, greater Washington, Chicago, Houston, Boston, and Atlanta); and

Nine of the top 10 states with the most naturalizations over the last two years (California, New York, Florida, Texas, Illinois, Virginia, Massachusetts, Georgia and Pennsylvania).

So who are the groups with their hands out to the feds through this one program (obviously, AmeriCorps has another funding stream).  We recognize many refugee resettlement contractors on the list.

US Census: Immigrant population boom happening now

This is the headline from the UK Daily Mail yesterday.  You may have already seen it:

White US children will be minorities by 2020 after immigrant ‘baby boom’, Census reveals

In the infographic linked below, the author of Diversity Explosion tells of all the warm and wonderful things that will come to America as diversity expands and blossoms—one of those wonderful new frontiers will happen with governance as the immigrants, we are told, will mostly register as Democratic voters!

Here are the first few paragraphs:

White children will be outnumbered by minority kids in the United States in just five years, new Census Bureau projections reveal.

This is the result of an ongoing trend of declining birth among white Americans and a baby boom among immigrant groups, as well as a surge in immigration.

By the year 2020, 50.2 percent of all children in the US are expected to be non-white, according to the Census. By 2044, whites will be outnumbered by minorities.

The Census study, released this week, predicts that by year 2060, nearly 20 percent of the population will be foreign born – thanks to an influx of 64million new immigrants.

The “seedlings” are sprouting at a rapid rate!  We are being replaced and Obama is one step ahead of us.

Read it all and see the graphs.  Be sure to click on the cute little infographic by Brookings where we are told in gleeful tones that the immigrants will vote Democratic (so as to get their government goodies?)!  See the book, here.

Scientific American: Global warming brought on the Syrian civil war, creating refugees

Conflict in the Middle East all about global warming!

We think we have found the explanation as to why Obama won’t say “radical Islam” in relation to the head-chopping violence going on in Syria and Iraq.

Who knew!  It is really all about global warming not Islam!

As I sit here in March, snow storm swirling outside and temperatures predicted to drop to zero tonight, I’m reporting about how all those Syrian refugees on the march are the result of global warming!

From Scientific American:

Climate change can make storms stronger, cold spells longer and water supplies drier. But can it cause war? A new study*** published today in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences says drought in Syria, exacerbated to record levels by global warming, pushed social unrest in that nation across a line into an open uprising in 2011. The conflict has since become a major civil war with international involvement.  [Nothing whatsoever to do with Islam?–ed]

[….]

A number of research efforts in recent years have suggested that warmer temperatures and drought increase the risk of violent conflict around the world. A 2009 study found that over the past 30 years in sub-Saharan Africa, temperature rise correlated with an increase in the likelihood of civil war. A 2011 study implicated climate change in pushing up food prices in Egypt, fueling revolution there.

Grasping for straws! Climate ‘scientist’ Richard Seager: Drought created by global warming=Syrian civil war. Photo and bio: http://www.ldeo.columbia.edu/res/div

[….]

The U.S. Defense Department is taking the warning seriously. It issued a report last November declaring climate change a “threat multiplier” that will impact national security. When Scientific American asked Seager [Richard Seager–ed] if his group’s research supports that point of view he said, “Yes. It does. Climate change is very much a cause of concern for national, regional and international security and this study makes clear how that can work. The Syrian war has now taken on a life of its own…however, a drought made worse by climate change was one important factor that initiated the social unraveling.”

The article does mention the drought in California, but no explanation as to why the same pattern of violence isn’t happening there. Maybe not a high enough population of heat-sensitive Muslims (yet).

So, let’s see, if one accepts the premise that resources/food production are being depleted in certain parts of the world due to the ever-changing climate, then bringing hundreds of thousands of immigrants to America will do what?  What else!—bring violence and chaos to America even faster!

***You know what is so strange!  I wanted to see the Study itself and I get a notice that the study isn’t available!

More here at Slate as the news of this “study” spreads through the Leftwing media.

See our ‘Climate refugees’ category here.  We can chuckle, but for several years now the international Left has been predicting (agitating) that migrants moving in response to weather will be our next big wave of “refugees” as they work to expand the definition of what constitutes a refugee—someone you should “welcome” as a “seedling” to your town!

Minnesota refugee resettlement contractor: 77,000 Somalis in the state right now!

Big question is:  Do these Christian resettlement contractors ever demand to resettle the persecuted Christians/religious minorities being persecuted around the world?

Arrive Ministries (formerly World Relief of Minnesota) one of three agencies responsible for the large population of Somalis in the State (see 10,000 resettled there in last 10 years, here) reports that the State has approximately 77,000 now.

Robert Oehrig, Executive Director of Arrive Ministries.

See one of our top posts of all time—Why so many Somalis in Minneapolis?  They were resettled there because of the generous welfare Minnesota offered!

Arrive Ministries (“a Christian non-profit organization dedicated to the cause of the refugee and immigrant”) also tells us that Somalis believe their troubles in Somalia began because they weren’t following Allah correctly, now they are having a “revival of religious observance” in Minnesota (scary thought!).

From Arrive Ministries (hat tip: Deb):

From that time [the time of clan violence and civil war in Somalia—ed] to the present, Somalis have fled the country and many have lived in refugee camps in Kenya, Ethiopia and Tanzania. Many Somalis were resettled in Europe, Canada, and the U.S. Currently, Minnesota has the largest number of Somali’s in the U.S, estimated to be around 77,000 or more. Why here? Somalis originally came to Minnesota because of the good economy and low unemployment. More recently they have come because there is a recognized community here — Somali shops, businesses and restaurants.

No discussion of the Somali people would be complete without discussing their religion, which is Islam. To be a Somali, is to be Muslim. With the war and displacement, many Somali’s have seen their difficulties as a judgment of God (Allah), for not correctly practicing their religion. In response to this, there has been a revival of religious observance.

According to a recent Form 990 for Arrive Ministries, the organization received $1.5 million (rounded number) with $1.1 million coming from government grants (from taxpayers) as a subcontractor to one of the top nine federal resettlement contractors, World Relief (Evangelicals).

Why can’t they see what they are doing?

About the photo, and a question for Bob:   The photo is from his facebook page (unless there is another Bob connected to Arrive Ministries!) where just a few weeks ago he said this:

I stand with my Christian brothers and sisters and all Shias, Yazidis and all peace loving people who find ISIL and militant Islam abhorant.

And this:

The truth of the matters is that the Islamic State is Islamic. Extremely Islamic with the aim to usher in the apocalypse. As is pointed out in this well written article, ISIS has revived traditions and practices that have been dormant for centuries including crucifixions and beheadings which are viewed as sacred requirements and a prelude to the culmination of the last battle and the coming of Messiah. [followed by this article—What ISIS really wants.]

Why can’t Bob see what he and others are doing to Minnesota with the resettlement of tens of thousands of Somalis who are “reviving” their Islamic religion with some returning to Africa and the Middle East to join ISIS and Al-Shabaab.

Talk is cheap!  It is easy to talk about the evils of ISIS, but do these ‘Christian’ organizations ever stand up and say to the UN/US State Department, please bring us only persecuted Christians, Jews and other minorities?  Or is it all about $$$?  (They won’t get any refugees/tax payer money if they don’t take Muslims.)
