UN wants the West to take in one million refugees over 5 years; Wilders calls it invitation to Jihadist infiltrators

I’m off again today, this time to DC and, alas, have no time to post much, but wanted to get this excellent article from Fox News posted before I catch the train.   Hat tip: Richard at Blue Ridge Forum.

Thank goodness some sane heads are quoted throughout.  Australia’s success in turning back the invaders is mentioned.   And, the only thing missing is any mention of how Libya became a launching pad for the invasion with Hillary’s help.

Geert Wilders: The “Islamicization” of Europe is well underway.

 The humanitarian disaster unfolding on the Mediterranean is likely already providing a “shield” for Islamist terrorists to infiltrate waves of migrants attempting the perilous crossing from North Africa to Europe, terrorism experts and other strategic observers are warning. And they say a UN plan to resettle 1 million refugees in Western nations would turn the situation into a full-blown security crisis.

The exodus now unfolding, as well as the UN call to take in refugees from war-torn Middle Eastern and African nations over the next five years, is providing a “shield for the passage of jihadists to Europe,” said one analyst. Once absorbed into the societies of Europe and other rich countries such as the United States, ISIS operatives would be set to eventually gain all the freedoms of other citizens of those countries – including the freedom to travel, often without having to go through the extra scrutiny involved in obtaining a passport visa.

“ISIS has threatened to [infiltrate the migrants] and German intelligence already said that this is a real threat,” Dutch lawmaker Geert Wilders told FoxNews.com from The Netherlands. “An open door policy would – both for the USA and Europe – mean that the threat of Islamists and terrorists entering our countries would increase to a very dangerous level.”

Once you open a resettlement office in your town, the flow will NOT end!

I tell every group I speak to that the schools will be the first place to suffer if you open your city or town to refugees!  See my Ten Things Your Town Needs to Know, here.  And, remember it isn’t just the cost to taxpayers that will be felt, it is that education for American kids will suffer as teachers struggle to bring non-English speaking students up to speed!

Local and state taxpayers will pay for interpreters required by a Clinton-era Executive Order!

WICHITA, Kan. (AP) – The Wichita school district, which already has one of the most ethnically diverse student bodies in the state, is trying to respond to the challenges presented by an influx of non-native English speaking children from Latin America, the Middle East and Africa.

The district has more than 350 students from other countries and 160 from other U.S. states who speak minimal English. Currently, 81 languages are spoken in the district, The Wichita Eagle reported. It has 11 classrooms spread throughout the district devoted to teaching recent immigrants and refugees.

Because federal law requires schools to provide information to parents in their preferred language, an Arabic speaker is on call to help teachers and others communicate with families. And the district contracts with Propio Language Services, an interpreting service that enables teachers and parents who speak any language to converse by phone through an interpreter.

The number of students speaking Vietnamese, Lao and Cambodian has decreased while students speaking languages from Africa and the Middle East have increased dramatically in recent years, Hale said. Many in the latter group are refugees from camps in central Africa, Iraq, Lebanon and Jordan.

The 10 main language groups, in order, are: English, Spanish, Vietnamese, Arabic, Lao, Cambodian, the Chinese family of languages, Bengali, Urdu and Swahili.

By the way, Arabic is the number one language spoken by refugees entering the US right now.

Local tax payers will foot the bill!

Ten years ago, fewer than 4,300 Wichita students required ESOL — English for Speakers of Other Languages — service. This year, 9,316 students qualified for services, or about 18 percent of the district population.

Wichita school board members recently said they worry a new block-grant funding plan for schools will prevent the district from getting more funding to provide services for the refugees and other immigrants.

“That’s a huge concern, because we will not be receiving additional money for those students,” said board president Sheril Logan.

Who is responsible for wrecking the school system in Wichita?

Start with the refugee contractors!  Call them and ask for their “abstracts” to see what amenities they are bragging about and how many refugees they are bringing in.

Former Gitmo prisoners we sent to Uruguay as refugees demanding that the US give them money

This was one more case of the Obama Administration re-writing (perverting!) refugee law when they declared that Guantanamo Bay prisoners were really “refugees” to be resettled by the South American country of Uruguay.  We told you about the outrage here in December (see who in the Obama Administration made the call).

Now, the bloom is off the rose for Uruguay (the ‘refugees’ do not want to work) and the former prisoners expect you, the American taxpayer, to help them out financially.

MONTEVIDEO, Uruguay (AP) — Four freed Guantanamo Bay detainees protested in front of the U.S. Embassy on Friday night, saying they were angry about being asked to leave a Uruguayan hotel that had been housing them and demanding Washington help them financially.

Adel bin Muhammad El Ouerghi said he had been asked to leave the Metro hotel, a budget inn where he and some of the other five former detainees periodically stayed.

The four Syrians, one Tunisian and one Palestinian have been housed in a four-bedroom house in Uruguay’s capital since the government took them in after their release in December. But “we are too many to stay in the house,” said El Ouerghi, who spent much of the last few months at the hotel.

As a humanitarian gesture, the men were invited to resettle in this poor South American country of 3.3 million people by President Jose Mujica, who has since left office.

They allegedly had ties to al-Qaida and spent 12 years in the U.S. military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. But they were never charged, and the U.S. released them because officials decided they were no longer a threat.

El Ouerghi said the men wanted to speak with the U.S. ambassador to Uruguay. He said the United States should help the men financially, an argument he and a few of the other former detainees have made repeatedly.

Citizens of Uruguay are disgusted!

While the men’s arrival to Uruguay was greeted by fanfare, the smiles and posing for pictures quickly turned to complaints and controversy. By their own admission, they have struggled to adjust, and on several occasions have complained about not getting enough help from Uruguay’s government.

In early February, a controversy erupted when people in Uruguay learned that the men had been offered jobs but did not take them.

Endnote:  Uruguay got a lot of publicity last year when the government said it would take in Syrian refugees, but it appears they got the first batch and said no more Muslim men!

Is the Left using Islam, or is it the other way around?

That’s a question I think about from time to time.  I happen to think Islam is using the political Left, or no, more precisely, I believe that Islam will destroy the Left the first chance it gets, no matter which side is the number one user right now.

However, LOL!, I don’t spend too much time thinking about it because then one gets nothing done to try to stop them both!

Writing at American Thinker, J. Robert Smith attacks the conundrum in his thoughtful piece entitled: ‘Where the Left and Islam Intersect.’

I’ve snipped a bit, but please read the whole thing.  Emphasis below is mine:

Curious how the godless left and Islam share a critical aim. They both wish to subjugate infidels, though how infidel is defined differs. But who the infidels are isn’t. We are, of course, the infidels. We of western virtues and values. We who hold to Judeo-Christian beliefs. We’re obstacles to glorious futures for both. Both want us consigned to dhimmitude. Yes, dhimmitude. That’s second class status, with tribute being paid for the privilege.

Marked differences and tensions exist between the left and Islam, to be sure. But is the left using Islam for its ends, and Islam — for the time being — willingly being used?

The enemy of my enemy is my friend

Today,… it isn’t just Western capitalism that the left wants Islam to sic. It’s the totality of Western Civilization. Leftism has expanded its agenda beyond Marx-focused economics. For the left to get us to dhimmitude, that means “deconstructing” our culture and society; upending our mores and traditions; shattering our institutions; demeaning faith and marginalizing the faithful. Its gains are evident all around us.

From Marx onward, the left has operated by a simple rule vis-à-vis Islam: the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

Most Americans have a hard time accepting that fellow citizens might knowingly act in ways injurious to the security and welfare of the nation. The 20th Century had more than a few Americans who worked to advance communism in opposition to vital national interests. In extreme cases, some Americans acted treasonously. Do the names Julius and Ethel Rosenberg ring a bell? How about Alger Hiss?

Not every American identifying with the left acts from malice. There are followers and fellow travelers. Your Aunt Jane may be a lefty, but she wouldn’t want harm to come to her country. There are gullible souls who think it’s all about Kumbaya. Spoken of here are leftist intellectuals, chattering classes, politicians, and career activists who either seek or welcome Islam’s role in “transforming” America and the West.

Immigration (Al-Hijra) = Infiltration

What’s in it for Muslims if they know they’re being used? Infiltration, for one. Western Europeans long ago opened their borders to Muslims. The need originally was labor. Western Europe’s elites — left-dominated — have, post-World War II, imported millions of Muslims.  [Let me be clear, it isn’t just the Left looking for cheap labor here in America. Big businesses, like the meatpackers! and some Republicans are selling us out!—ed]

Fatal flaw in the Left’s thinking:  that they will control Islam, discard it when they wish.

A fatal conceit exists on the left in its use of Islam. It’s this: leftists are in every way superior to Muslims. Islam, violent and useful, though dangerous, is primitive and no match for the great minds and godless certitudes of “progressivism.” Islam can be used and then dispensed with. But the left underestimates the power of an ancient faith — and its faithful — at its own peril.

I wish I knew all this excitement was going on when I was in the neighborhood on Friday!

This is a story about a friend of the six (latest batch) terrorists charged with planning to join ISIS so they could participate in killing for Allah.   He also tweeted the photo of the FBI’s confidential informant.

From the Minneapolis Star Tribune:

A man who made death threats on Twitter against federal law enforcement officials in connection with the case against six Minneapolis men accused of trying to join ISIL now faces federal charges of his own.

Mahamed Abukar Said, 19, was charged Friday with two criminal counts for threatening “to assault and murder a federal law enforcement officer.”

According to the criminal complaints, he tweeted a photo of the government’s confidential informant in the case against the six defendants accused of conspiring to join ISIL. He also threatened federal prosecutors with a “massacre,” investigators allege.

Included in the federal complaint were copies of Said’s alleged tweets, including one that said, “Ima whack that us attorney general.”

The criminal complaint said that Said lives in Minneapolis with relatives, “attends school, and is on probationary supervision in Hennepin County for a fifth-degree controlled substance offense.”

Said appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge Steven Rau, who signed the complaint, filed and also signed by FBI Special Agent Michael Iverson.

The charges note that in addition to a threat to kill the U.S. Attorney General, Said added, “The Feds are getting two choices. Either they gon free my bros or they gon have a massacre happen then they gon take me too.”

Wake up Minnesota! You paid to raise this punk and his friends!

Tell the church resettlement contractors to stop bringing refugees like these charmers to the state!  And, everybody reading this should tell your Members of Congress, US Senators, and Presidential candidates to STOP the resettlement of Somalis to America!  They are not our problem and we are presently bringing in between 800 and 900 a MONTH!
