Turkey: We don’t want those Syrian refugees either!

At least not permanently.

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu: Maybe in a couple of years Hillary could be persuaded to take a hundred thousand or so! http://www.state.gov/r/pa/ei/pix/2009a/06/124413.htm

The UN has been falling all over itself praising Turkey for months for its acceptance of an estimated 1 million Syrians who have streamed across the border to escape the Syrian civil war.  Most of those leaving Syria are Muslims.

Now, we learn that  Muslim Turkey will not accept any Syrian asylum claims and says the Syrians must be resettled in a third country.   Third country:  France?  UK? Germany? Canada? US?  Which?

From Press TV.   So much for Muslim charity!

Senior authorities in Ankara have ruled out refugee status for Syrian nationals who are seeking shelter in Turkey.

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said on Thursday that his country has limited the right only to asylum seekers from Europe. [So what does this mean?  If you are seeking asylum from say France, Sweden or the UK, Turkey will take you?  I bet there is a long waiting list for that!  Not!—ed]

Non-European refugees are now granted a temporary stay in Turkey, pending their resettlement to a third country.

Thus, it is not possible for Syrians who have taken shelter in Turkey to obtain refugee status, the foreign minister noted.

In late April, Ankara put the number of Syrian refugees in the country at almost one million. Turkey is viewed as one of the regional supporters of foreign-backed militants operating inside Syria.

Just a couple of months ago, David Miliband, the CEO of resettlement contractor the International Refugee Committee, was kissing up to Turkey too.

North Dakota: Somali machete-man could get up to 5 years for attack

Diversity is strength alert!   We could have a “pocket of resistance” developing in North Dakota. Where is ‘Welcoming America’ when you need them?

Wow!  A whole 5 years max in the slammer!  How about deportation (for both of them)?

Machetes come in many sizes and shapes, I wonder which type the North Dakota Somali refugees prefer? (Couldn’t find any photos of the Somalis involved to illustrate this post.) http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/700267-Show-Your-Machetes

And, of course, here we have another trial with more court costs for interpreters! Is the US State Department or the resettlement contractor*** helping with the court costs?

Here is the story at The Dickinson Press:

JAMESTOWN — A Somali man who has lived in Jamestown since 2012 was found guilty Wednesday of aggravated assault in a machete attack on another Somali immigrant last year.

A jury also found Said Muse, 50, not guilty of attempted murder in Southeast District Court.

Muse was accused of using a machete against Abdirizak Nur on June 8 in Jamestown.

During the trial, which began Tuesday, several Jamestown police officers testified that Muse had been arrested for simple domestic assault May 31 and disorderly conduct early June 8. Both incidents involved altercations with Nur.

With help from an interpreter, Muse testified Wednesday that he posted bond June 8 and dropped off his suitcases at a friend’s residence before returning to the motel where Nur was staying to retrieve personal items. Nur met him at the door carrying the machete, and the men struggled, he said.

Muse said he knocked the knife out of Nur’s hand and got control of it, but didn’t strike Nur and had no idea how Nur got a 2-inch cut on his upper arm.

Aggravated assault is a Class C felony punishable by five years in prison and a $10,000 fine. Muse remained in custody on $100,000 bail pending sentencing.

***Earlier this month we had the North Dakota hatchet-man story and learned that it is contractor Lutheran Social Services bringing diversity to North Dakota.

Measles on the rise in US, foreign travel blamed

It was all over the news yesterday, Measles, once thought virtually eradicated in the US is back.

I guess Measles will soon join TB as a disease on the rise in the US thanks to our out of control immigration policy.  Is “foreign travel” code for the verboten word—“immigration?”

Here is the story at the Washington Post.

Just looking around for more news on this latest outbreak, I see a medical doctor who writes a health myth website has something to say about the feds/vaccines and immigration.  Check it out here.

I’m wondering if the threat of Measles (and other contagious diseases) increasing in the US is what is really behind the push by the State Department and CDC to get the refugees vaccinated before leaving their third world country, see our report on that new project here ten days ago.
