Netherlands: Gay men being harassed by refugees

And, there is an update here of the post we wrote about Dutch plans to put an asylum center near a heavily Jewish neighborhood. Plans for that location have been cancelled.

Invasion of Europe News…..

From the Times of Israel:

AMSTERDAM — Reported abuse of homosexuals at refugee centers shows the need for educating refugees to tolerance as soon as possible, Dutch Chief Rabbi Binyomin Jacobs said.

Jacobs’ statement Friday followed an expose aired the previous day by the Dutch broadcaster NOS. In it, the country’s main advocacy group for homosexuals, COC, revealed that over the past two weeks, it has received reports of 10 cases of harassment and intimidation of gays at the Netherlands’ dozen-odd facilities housing refugees from Syria and Iraq.

The report, which included interviews with gay refugees who said they feared they would be murdered by other refugees who were threatening them, came days after the Central Jewish Board of the Netherlands advised against a plan to open a refugee center in Amstelveen. Opening a center in the southern suburb of the Dutch capital was deemed risky by the board because it is the only place in the Netherlands with a Jewish community infrastructure and a large number of recognizably Jewish community members.

Got hate?

Jacobs said he supported helping refugees, but added they “were brought up with fierce anti-Semitism and other forms of hate and intolerance. As a result some of them harbor those hatreds.”

Diversity is soooo beautiful!

Amnesty advocate Rep. Paul Ryan poised to be next Speaker of the House, if you don't take action

Ryan and Guiterez
Rep. Luis Gutierrez, D-Ill. and Ryan in a story about Gutierrez and the donor class having an “orgasm” over Ryan as likely Speaker. http://conservativefiringline.com/donor-class-and-gutierrez-press-for-paul-ryan-for-speaker/#

Update #2:  Reader Kay reports on her attempts to reach Jim Jordan:

It took me 5 tries calling to finally get in touch with Chairman Jordan’s office. I was hung up on 3 times, got a person who did not speak English well on my 4th try…she hung up too, and on my 5th try, I got a young man in Mr. Jordan’s office who seemed pleasant. The first words out of my mouth is that I had a citizen concern for Mr. Jordan as Freedom Caucus Chair and to please not hang up on me, as I had been shut out 4 times already. The young man at least acted like he was listening and took down information and my phone number. I reiterated to him that people in my area, Cincinnati, Ohio, did NOT want Paul Ryan as Speaker.

Update:  Andy Harris sells out to RINOs, here.  If you see more news on Freedom Caucus members today, let me know.
NumbersUSA has launched a call-in campaign to try to stop this moving train.
Roy Beck on Rep. Paul Ryan, click here.
Here is what Roy Beck said in an e-mail to concerned Americans:

I’m convinced that the only thing that will keep the most powerful and committed Republican House amnesty leader out of the chair of the Speaker of the House is an unrelenting barrage of phone calls to Republican Representatives from our NumbersUSA network today (yesterday) and Friday.

My description of Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) is not based just on what I know but on what PBS proved last night with its premier airing of a two-hour documentary, IMMIGRATION BATTLE. It provided detail after detail of Ryan’s back-room efforts to get a version of the Senate Gang of 8 amnesty through the House over the last two years.

Beck wants you to call all of your Republican members, but here is the list of Members of the Freedom Caucus so I’m urging you to focus on them as a first priority (from wikipedia).   By the way, we hear that the Koch brothers provide some funding for the Freedom Caucus—not a good sign since the funders of RINO Presidential candidates have been visibly absent from the immigration issue leading most to conclude that they too are pro-open borders in order to supply cheap labor for industry.

What is the cost to admit (and care for!) refugees in the US?

pigNobody really knows, nor does the refugee industry want you to know!
We just now reported on a leaked report in the UK that puts the figure at around $36,000 per refugee per year in the UK, but as far as we have ever seen, no official government estimate has been made of the cost of resettlement in the US.  That is why the bill introduced by Rep. Brian Babin of Texas is so important. Update:  See more on the Babin bill, here.

Syrians arrive KY
Starving Syrian refugees arrive in Kentucky earlier this year. Do Mitch and Rand know that KY is so far this fiscal year the leading Syrian resettlement state? https://refugeeresettlementwatch.org/2015/02/15/first-syrian-refugees-arriving-in-louisville-ky-helped-with-grant-from-islamic-charity/

Here Jessica Vaughn (Center for Immigration Studies) writing at National Review (‘Help Refugees, but Stop Feeding the Refugee-Resettlement Industry’) references a Heritage Foundation report:

The Heritage Foundation has calculated that the 10,000 Syrians who would be admitted under the president’s plan would eventually collect about $6.5 billion in services over the next 50 years. Much of that would be borne by local communities.

Read it all.
And see here at The Atlantic someone did a quick and dirty calculation, but this number only represents the cost of bringing 70,000 refugees in to the country and does not include the welfare benefits refugees receive, the healthcare or the cost of educating the children.

The process of bringing refugees to the U.S. is handled by three agencies: the State Department, which leads the program, USCIS at the Department of Homeland Security, and the Office of Refugee Resettlement at the Department of Health and Human Services.

Together, the three agencies spent about $1.1 billion last year. That’s $1.1 billion for 70,000 refugees, which comes to about $15,714 per person.

Getting at the real costs to federal, state and local taxpayers is an important goal going forward, but be prepared for all involved in the industry to stonewall such an effort.

British taxpayer on the hook for about $36,000 for each Syrian refugee admitted

Invasion of Europe news….

From the Daily Mail:

As well as proving to be the most intractable challenge that Europe has faced for a generation, the current migrant crisis has also revealed the profound consequences of gesture politics.

SYRIAN-REFUGEES_UK
Some of those charming ‘refugees’ the British taxpayer will be caring for? Photo: http://yournewswire.com/the-first-syrian-refugees-of-20000-approved-have-arrived-in-uk/

For we are now told that the cost of every Syrian refugee who comes to Britain will be up to £24,000 each — a year. [Check my math, but I think that is about $36,000 in US dollars.—ed]

These official figures imply a total bill for taxpayers of up to £2 billion for the 20,000 migrants that the Government has pledged to take in here over the next four years.

By their vain grandstanding, some of our EU partners — especially Germany’s Angela Merkel, who has said she would be happy to take 800,000 Syrian migrants in 2015 alone — have made the predicament much worse.

Their promises to open the door mean we are confronted by an unprecedented continental exodus, not just from Syria, but from countries such as Nigeria and Bangladesh.

[….]

The implications of David Cameron’s grand gesture remain shrouded in mystery, because the Home Office has so far refused to give details. We still don’t know how many Syrians have entered Britain, where they are housed, or whether they will stay permanently. The figures about costs only became public because someone at the Home Office leaked the document.

It says the annual cost per Syrian refugee to local councils is estimated to be £8,520 per person. On top of this, central government will be forced to pay £12,700 in benefits and £2,200 for medical care.

The likelihood is the real cost will be higher. Not only is it likely that family members of the original 20,000 will subsequently be allowed here, but the initial figure will not include a host of ancillary costs.

For example, because many refugees are likely to have post-traumatic conditions that will place a new burden on the overstretched mental health services of the NHS. None of this, however, has prevented liberal critics from denouncing the Prime Minister’s gesture as insufficiently generous.

Hillary (and the girls) are to blame for Libyan hellhole, European invasion

A trip down memory lane….
As I listened to testimony yesterday at the Benghazi hearing I was reminded of the many posts I’ve written over the years about how Hillary was directly involved in the destruction of the Libyan state that ultimately led to the use of that country as an important launch pad for the Mediterranean invasion of Europe by tens of thousands of Africans and Middle Easterners.

Hillary, rice, power
Hillary admitted yesterday that in 2011 Obama was reluctant to follow Europe’s lead and get involved in Libya, but that she marshaled the forces (including Susan Rice and Samantha Power) to persuade Obama to help overthrow Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi. Ultimately, she said yesterday, it was the President’s decision thereby tossing blame back on Obama when the results of her actions have proven so disastrous. Ambassador Stevens and the others who died might not have been there if it weren’t for those “loose weapons.”

Here is one of our many posts on Hillary:  This one is from December 2014, but we had predicted in 2011 that Hillary’s (and yes, she admitted it yesterday that she was the leading Administration force for the overthrow of Gadaffi) misadventure in Libya was leading to a refugee crisis of massive proportion.
Hillary and the girls (dubbed the “humanitarian Vulcans” by some in the White House) said it was our “responsibility to protect” the Libyan people that underpinned our imperative to join the Europeans in overthrowing (and killing) Gadaffi.  This is what I said in December of 2011.  So much for the poor Libyan people now!

Watch for it!   The ‘responsibility to protect’ means we go to war and create a whole new bunch of refugees that need to be resettled in the West!
